We are One

Refined Message

What is our purpose? I’ve been asking myself why I even keep these websites. What I should do with them if anything. So here is what I came up with. A refined Manifesto.

My purpose and lot in life is to love and accept myself and the dream I have created. There is no more sobering thought than to realize you are the source of your nightmares. All the pain you have ever felt is on you. There is no one else, not really. “All else” or “other” is a projection from mind, your mind, the only mind. Our whole sense of self is based on Ego, this is the very definition of identity. If you think you exist, then this is the Ego. It is not good or bad, it is just the filter used to experience the world around you… to Know thy self!

Sometimes this image gets blurred and we think the “Other” is who we are. On the greater levels this is true, however on this limited Ego level it is not. I am you and you are me, though the Ego exists to further refine what you and me are. Ego is separation. All in this world is separate and represents the Ego (not the personality as Freud presented, but the entire “self”). I have come to believe that gender itself is an ego construct and Transgender is a confusion of this primary construct. We are born male, female or intersex, this cannot be changed in this lifetime. Sex is simply our Identity construct, it may define our life this time around, but it is by no means fixed in reality. Gender by the way is not Sex, these aspects are separate and yet intertwined. In the Ego world, there are shades of gray or color. A rainbow represents separation of light… thus the Ego. A perfect symbol for anyone who identifies with being human, special, or different. Yes, we appear to be unique, but this is only a perception – a desire by the Ego to be special or somehow better than other. The way to work though this is presented in A Course in Miracles. I will not go into it further and leave it up to you to explore.

I will not tell anyone else what to think or what is right or wrong, because that depends on your perspective and point of view. Being Transgender is real if you think it is. It cannot be denied, as I tried for 30 yrs and it kept coming back. When you get a obsessive idea the only way to get over it is to move through it. It could be called a problem, but in reality it is just an idea. Consuming, yes. So accept it and move through it. Face it head on. Fear = false evidence appearing real. Even death is false. I have died many times or at least my Ego has. Love is real and can not be destroyed. Whatever is “killed or dies” is unreal. Know this and life becomes a Joy. By “Know” I mean no doubt whatsoever.

So, if you have the impulse to crossdress then go for it. If you wish to sleep with the same sex or deny sex all together, go for it. However, if you have the impulse to harm anyone including yourself then take a step back. Tell someone about these feelings. Talk it out and take no action. The question is what does “harm” mean? I have been over that many times. Is it harmful to Transition? Is it harmful to die? Does shattering the concept others have of you qualify as harmful? There is the simple principle of “what you do to another, you do to yourself”. So perhaps transition is just passing your own confusion off to others close to you (other self). As you see the “other” you will see yourself. There is also the principle that we learn through experience, so unless we transition no lesson is learned. Pain is inevitable, suffering is up to you. I am not responsible for your suffering, even if I am responsible for your pain. We each have free will. There are no easy answers to these questions, there are only your answers. I have answered them for myself. I invite you to explore these questions and do your best. Live life and don’t apologize! Only you can ultimately judge you, so be kind.

Nobody is Ever Alone

We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.” Orson Welles

This quote makes one feel rather depressed, until they understand the truth here. See, it has to do with cosmology (our view of the world). Understanding means literally just that, standing under knowledge or simply having knowledge support you. What is it to “be alone”? Does it mean no one else is in the room or within eye sight? Be a lone. To be by oneself. Perhaps you have heard the saying, I am not alone, I am with me, myself, and I. <G>

We always have the voice within us, in fact we have both of them. The “i” and the “I”. The small ego self and the infinite intelligence self (some call this God). So the truth here is found in identifying who you really are. Are you the small self or the infinite self? The small self is confined to observable space around you, while the infinite self is well, infinite, meaning it includes everything and everyone.

We have a choice here to look with “i” eyes or “I” eyes. To see with small self or infinite self. Since we normally are being lead by the “i” it takes a conscious choice to see with “I”. A daily practice of saying I choose Infinity (God). I am not alone, I am free, I am just as God created me… I am Spirit, I am not this body or anything physical. I am here to enjoy the ride and place my journey in God’s hands.

Faith is developed just like any skill and is maintained by use just like any muscle or tool. Stand under Infinity (God) with Faith and know, No body is ever alone! If you are Spirit without an actual real body then you cannot die. Yes, consciousness shifts as does this illusion we call life. It is comforting to understand that our death is illusion and reality is always with us. To find it look within. Feel the Love.

Fate or No

Fate or no fate? This is the question.  Just how much “choice” do you have in your life?  If you believe all the New Age prophets and teachers it is all up to you.  Everything in life is your choice.  So if you have been following my blog you’ll know I love to question reality.  At this point in my life I have had enough experience to really compare and contrast events, to test theories, and to come to my own conclusions.  So let me share my conclusion on Fate.

First let me tell you an abbreviated story of my youth.  I am tall, always have been, so in elementary school I was adult size as a child.  This excited the basketball coach who was quite zealous in recruiting me for his team.  I tried it and hated it.  I come from a family of non-athletes.  It was not something that interested me.  But this decision was not up to me or even my parents.  The coach quite literally forced me to play thru fear and guilt, so I played and thus began that phase of my life, which did not end till after dropping out of college two years early.  Looking back on it, many good things came from my suffering, so there are no regrets, but the question still remains. Is this fate?

This story has repeated a few times in my life now, so this has led to this blog.  Who is making these decisions that vastly affect my life?  Is it the animal human me or some higher Spiritual me?  Or is it someone else entirely?  Who is “I”?

The answer will surprise some, but many who read my blog know exactly where this is going.  The “I” who makes these decisions is not the person living this little life here on Earth, but the Higher Spiritual Self (HSS) who exists beyond this world.  If you think about it, nothing else makes sense.  Not even the Distant God idea that so many religions teach.

The fact is we exist on many levels and each corresponds to the Chakras.  The beings on Earth exist on the lower levels, the first three chakras.  Our HSS exists somewhere else, but still connected here.  The HSS corresponds to the higher three chakras and the 4th or center chakra is the connection point between the two which make up the human body.  There are higher chakras but do not apply to this discussion, unless they do, so suffice it to say I will not be discussing these.

The way Stephen Davis describes it is we are the (i) little and the HSS is the (I) big.  Eckhart Tolle describes it as the ego vs. the Spirit.  Many advanced teachers describe this in various ways and once you grasp it this is easy to see.  Going back now to our original question.

It is the (I) Big who really chooses our path.  The (i) little is the one who experiences it and either accepts it (making the path smoother) or resists it (making the path painful).  So the moral to the story is simple, ‘Resistance is Futile’ and ‘What you resist persists’! Resistance is also what makes life painful. Acceptance has really been my topic these last few blogs and for good reason.  While many have been opening up and accepting their fate, many have not (thus the riots and unrest).

A good place to end this blog is a heart centered meditation.  Remember the heart chakra is where and how the two connect.  When the heart is open everything flows in harmony because the (i) little is communicating with the (I).  For more on this meditation please check out http://sequoiablessed.info/page70.  With some focus and practice the heart is opened and harmony takes over your life.  A big part of life is learning to trust the (I) big, know that it is love, and will never hurt you or put you in harm’s way.

Love n Light,

Sequoia Elisabeth 🙂
