We are One

Faith Leads The Way

I started to write a blog about Faith and discovered I already had, LOL.  The point here is we all have more faith than we realize.  Perhaps my goals is to be devoted to Faith.  Not just any faith, but one that sustains us, a faith that uplifts and delivers us upon the gates of Truth.  May Infinite Intelligence fill your beingness to overflowing.  We are the Love we seek.

What is it to live without faith? Could you be living a faithful life without even knowing it? I believe most people are living in faith whether they consciously choose to or not. Over 90% of people believe in a higher power according to a recent Gallup poll so this easily translates to faithful living.

So just what is Faith? According to Dictionary.com it means:

1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another’s ability.

2. belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.

3. belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion: the firm faith of the Pilgrims.

4. belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.: to be of the same faith with someone concerning honesty.

5. a system of religious belief: the Christian faith; the Jewish faith.

Number 3 means over 90% of the people have Faith! Number 4 is really general and would apply to ~99% of people as we all believe in something! (Atheism and Science are beliefs) So the proof is mounting, but then number 2 indicates we need no proof to have faith. Whatever you believe is true! For those who have been around a while having confidence or trust in another person is bound to have occurred at some point in your life and if you are a Spiritual person it is most likely a daily practice. The religious belief category is the only one which may not apply to the majority of people, although most have been there at one point or another in their lives. So you can see Faith is a part of everyone’s of life.

Making it a conscious part of your life simply takes the commitment to be aware of your practices. Practicing faith consciously is something we can all do easily. First of all look within to find your beliefs, principles, and morals. As you define them just be observant of your life – your words, behavior, and thoughts. How are they aligned with these beliefs? The more conscious you become the easier it is to align with the Faith you already have. Practice makes perfect is applicable here, however as your journey continues this becomes perfection is always present, now and forever. Faith is instinctual to one who has chosen it. Perfection resides in all things, places, and people the journey makes this perfectly clear!

Meandering Down The Path

Transitions Blog is still meandering down the path.  The chasm has been traversed and we venture on to the next stage of our never ending journey Home.  There is nothing to be done, no place to go, and nothing to see.

Or is there?

This of course is up to you.  It is your choice where your journey takes you, and in fact you make this choice in everything you do or don’t do.  There is no right or wrong choices, only the choices you make.  Whether the choice brings joy or heartache is how you process the information perceived.  Choosing neutral ground is not possible although many of us try.

Inevitably and eventually your actions will harm someone in some way and often this is a repeated experience.  The waves wash both ways and over time we build up a strong barrier which both protects us and traps us.  Courage is required to leap beyond all barriers and venture into unknown territory.  Faith is the ingredient which makes the whole experience possible, otherwise fear and doubt drag you back to the abyss.

I wish you both Courage and Faith in your journey!  May it lead you to precisely where you need to be.  If along the way you have questions or need support you may contact me through this blog or the contract info on the website.  I am open to topic suggestions, especially if you are not finding what you need on the website, Unity in Gender Diversity.

Have Faith

FAITH is one of those clear cut things which is either turned on or not.  The more you use it the stronger it becomes.  It is sort of like a muscle in this respect.  You may have heard the cliché about Love and the heart being a muscle, the more you use it the stronger and better you become at Love.  Well Faith falls in the same category.

Like Love you cannot lose Faith, you simply fail to use it.  It comes with the package!  Whether you use it or not is up to you.  Take breathing for instance.  You breathe whether you think about it or not and even if you try to hold your breath eventually you will breath.  Faith is like this too.  When you least expect it, it shows up in your life!

So just what is Faith?  Dictionary.com describes it as “confidence or trust in a person or thing, belief that is not based on proof.”  Faith is metaphysical and exists like a piece of fabric interwoven throughout all existence.  The best way to prove it to yourself is through getting in touch with your feelings.  Have you ever just known something would happen and it did?  That feeling of knowing is Faith.  Have Faith in your knowing!

Faith can be as simple as knowing the sun will rise in the morning or as complex as knowing your sister will be there for you when you need her.  When others are mixed into the equation things get complicated, but this does not mean they are less clear.  Let’s just say there is more room for doubt.  So how does one practice Faith?

It is as simple as breathing.  Make the choice consciously to have Faith.  Ask the Great Spirit to help you in this quest and stay alert to the miracles which occur every day.  Faith is built by awareness.  You may have more Faith than you realize!

First and foremost have Faith that all is well.  Write down a list of things you have Faith in and focus on the Truth of it all.  The sun rose this morning, I am still breathing, I have clothes on my back and clean water to drink…build from there.  Faith is a gift you can give away!

Have Faith in your fellow man; trust them to keep their word, to be honest in their actions, and to be there for you when you need them.  Practicing this yourself will guarantee results because what you give, you receive.

Any Spiritual practice takes time and effort, and with some conscious work Faith will be as automatic as breathing!

Hope Denies Reality

Hope: the quintessential fabrication of man.  The word is hollow and gives promises it cannot deliver.  Hope is an illusion or a cry for help.  Do you have any idea what the word actually means?  Let us venture into the world of Hope.

“Hope is the denial of reality.” ~ Margaret Weis, Dragons of Winter Night

Dictionary.com states the meaning this way: the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best; to feel that something desired may happen.  Look very closely at this wording and examine the feeling it brings.

First of all Hope is a feeling, not something tangible or concrete.  It is a want, a state of mind that acknowledges a possibility but not a reality.  Wanting is another hollow feeling that can give nothing more than the feeling!  “May happen” is a statement of doubt.  It is saying, “This is something that may happen but I doubt it will”.

Is doubt what you intend?  Maybe it is just a good feeling that you desire?  From my experience this is precisely what is being requested.  “I desire to feel good” (a cry for help).  There is nothing better for making you feel good than Hope!!  However, this is all you get!

If you truly desire the outcome you “hope” for, then I recommend dropping the word and choosing a more positive and affirmative request.  I trust that all is well in my world!  I feel positive better things are coming my way.  May all your dreams be true!

Do you get the idea?  Hope (doubt) has potential and feels good but does not deliver till you are at a place of Trust (faith).  See your desires and know they are met, the moment you express them.  Do not fall into the trap of contemplating all the possibilities.  While you know your desire to be true, also accept the form may be slightly different than you imagined, and rest assured it is true in some form.  We are all One, so accept Truth in all its forms.

“Hope is a state of mind, not of the world. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense, is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises that are obviously heading for success, but rather an ability to work for something because it is good.”  ~Vaclav Havel

Vaclav has a positive view of Hope and I wish to end on the positive.  Hope is not bad, it is simply a feeling.  If a feeling is what you desire then Hope is your word.  If however you desire a tangible experience try using Trust or Faith.  Know that your desires are real and this is your experience!  Look deeply and you will see this truth.  Seek and ye shall find!  Be aware what you wish for, you will get it!

Beware What You Wish For

Are you aware of what you are wishing for?  Did you know that every word and thought is a prayer?  Once you start paying attention to your words and thoughts it is amazing to see how you are creating all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that occur in your life.  Some of these are deep issues that you chose to work on before you were born, so you will experience them whether you wish to or not.  Many others though are things you have picked up along the way.  We are constantly learning as soon as we have consciousness at some point in the fetal stage and the learning never stops.  By learning I mean receiving and processing data from your cognitive centers though both your physical senses and your mental senses.

What role do you play in your life?  Only everything.  Creating the life of your dreams is one of patience, persistence and faith.  On a conscious level, the thoughts you have connect to feelings you have about those thoughts and it is the feelings that are the fuel to manifestation.  Our beliefs about the thoughts or dreams are the doorway that either allow them or not.  This process can be a crazy seesaw effect of yes – no – maybe, so focus on your desire and let the doubts go.  When I say it takes persistence and patience I am not kidding, sometimes it is years before things actually materialize because of many reasons including the seesaw action combined with the feeling of knowing or faith that it is done!  Actually see it as done while feeling the effects of it.

This is how fear works so well to create that which we do NOT want.  Fear is often accompanied with deep emotions and feelings of dread, and the amount of energy combined with the obsessive nature of fear gives it fuel to manifest.  Since you know this now, use this same process in reverse by focusing on your dreams!  I cannot stress this more.  See only your desires and release all else.

Just by being aware of your thoughts and feelings you can pick and choose the ones we like most.  Choose Joy!  Because many of us have experiences of let down so often it can become a habit!  If you expect the worse then you reinforce this happening.  So if a thought crosses your mind that is unpleasant simply ask yourself what you want?  What is my desire?  “Oh I choose Joy”!  Where is the Joy in my life?  If I don’t see any then I need to look deeper, anything is possible.  Create it if you don’t see it.  Talk with a friend, see a movie, listen to music, or whatever you need to and the feelings will change to support your beliefs.  I am Joyful!  🙂  Sequoia Elisabeth
