We are One

Why Pro Athletes Make So Much Money

Ever wonder why professional athletes get paid so much? What about other professionals like brokers, lawyers, and doctors? Abundance is a function of giving, either of time or skill. It is not related to how hard one works, because if that was true, we would all be millionaires. What you give you receive, and this compounds the more people who receive this gift. Movie stars and Pro Athletes touch millions of people through broadcast media. Other professionals put a great deal into training and thus get the most out of their efforts. There is also caste which plays a role. We have a purpose for being here and our “role” in the game of life is cast upon birth. This is not to say the poor and disadvantaged have no chance at wealth, however their chances are greatly reduced. Why? Because they are working with less resources to begin with. Just because someone does not have a lot of money does not mean they are poor. Think of it like Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage, and we are merely players.”

Most people don’t understand what abundance is. The best analogy I can think of is a river or the flow of a river. Abundance is flow… in and out. Like the waves on the shoreline. It is not the stock piling of resources, this is hoarding. When it comes to things or property, more is less. Hoarding comes from the place of not feeling good enough and becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy. A person with little money can be very abundant if they have steady flow in their life. This flow can be in the form of love, time, money, health, or others. Perhaps you have not considered how abundant you are. I have very little cash, yet I have all my basic needs met and I am happy. This to me is abundance. My life is simple and rewarding. During my career in medical imaging, I helped many people and now as a minister and homemaker I serve my roommate and my audience online through my websites. I give what I have, and I suspect you do as well. My interests have always been broad, so I had great difficulty finding my path since many seemed to appeal to me. Other people I have known were laser focused on their path and did what it took to get there. They are now living successful lives by sharing their hard-earned talents. Not everyone will be a CEO, Pro Athlete, or Famous Movie Star, yet we are all Masters of our own fate. We are all Ministers to our lives.

One of the worst things you can do is compare yourself to others, be they movie stars, pro athletes, or CEO’s. Even family and friends have their own paths, so comparing yourself with a sibling or parent just creates roadblocks. We have our path and they have theirs. Believe it or not, we are all on our personal right path. There is no other option. No matter what we choose to do with our life, our “path” will conform to us and lead us home. So, be happy for those who have lots of money as well as those who do not, knowing they are exactly where they need to be. As I like to say, “All is as it needs to be” given the choices we have made either consciously or unconsciously. Life is about Being, not doing. So, what you do in your life makes little difference in the big schema. How you do it and who you are along the way makes it count.

Keys to Learning

What is learning first of all, so we know what we are doing? Simply stated learning is becoming aware of knowledge, information, or the acquisition of a skill previously unavailable to an individual. This is my own definition based on my level of understanding. Oneness dictates we are all using the same all knowing, omnipotent mind. Or are we? When born into this 3D realm of humanness our minds are veiled in the forgetting. “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, and one man in his time plays many parts,…” (www.poets.org/) As Shakespeare points out our roles here are various, they are not who we are, and they are scripted. How we play these roles are up to the individual.

I don’t know about you, but I have never been good at Acting, however I play my pre-programmed roles brilliantly if I do say so myself. <G> These roles guide your path through life, because we tend to do things we are good at. What if you desired to change directions though and learn something totally new to you? Is anything totally new? Of course not, because we are still operating with the One Mind. The veil makes our skills and knowledge unique to us and the path we have traveled before. The saying goes, ‘Life’s lessons are provided on a need to know basis’ (my paraphrase). So this is the key to learning.  Learning is really re-membering!

Necessity is the mother of all invention and learning. Have you ever had to learn something you hated or were not interested in at all? For me this was math and boy was it a struggle! It took me years of practice and finally understanding that math was useful in the everyday world to learn it. I had several teachers share wonderful “tricks” that helped me re-member math. It took focus and a desire to learn to even get started and the more I learned the more I en-joyed it and the cycle repeated. Having studied education and learning for many years now I know from experience learning is a process. There are techniques which facilitate learning and these are spelled out nicely in books and websites. I encourage you to explore and if you seek, you shall find!

The point I make here summed up – Learning takes emotion, desire, intent and practice. The choice to learn is not up to anyone else. Most of all though it is driven by need, even if it is just an ego desire to learn a skill or knowledge for the fun of it. If you have no desire or need to learn something the actions you take will be futile. I have studied Spanish, for example, for years, however my efforts where half-hearted and not driven by desire. At times I could have used this skill but I found others to translate for me and since I don’t need it on a daily basis. I have not become proficient in Spanish. I suppose this goes for any manifesting one attempts, e-motion is required! Those things that come to you easily have been learned before in a previous lifetime or were pre-programmed for this one. I am still amazed at how easy Radiology was for me. It eventually became boring though after a quarter century and I moved on. This is how life works though, we are driven in certain directions (for me it was the path of least resistance) by forces unknown. To truly succeed one must trust this path and learn to listen to the Holy Spirit and not the Ego. Ah, but this is another blog. Blessings on your Journey of Love!

Nothing Is True

Nothing is true….     At least not in the traditional way we think of truth.  Not even God’s or Universal Truth is true.  Only what you give power to by both your innately and adopted beliefs has any truth to it whatsoever!   I am not trying to discourage you here, nor am I raining on your parade.  My intention is to shine some light on your illusions, or should I say our illusions.  You see the entire world – all that you think you know is a hologram, a fabrication of powers we do not understand.  It would be like a television set understanding the programs it broadcasts.  It is not possible for humans to understand any Truth, if it even exists.  I challenge all your beliefs as you hold them right now!

Why would I do such a thing, which many would feel as an assault on their very soul?  Because sometimes we need a slap in the face to wake up, and perhaps some cold water will shock your awareness into focus.  All you thought was true is not.  Take this literally.  The only truth is nothing….  or to say this another way, whatever is is not and whatever is not is.    Pause for a moment, let this fully sink in.  The reality you are experiencing now as you sit with your computer or tablet and read this blog; all that surrounds you is a fabrication or a projected hologram from the All That Is.  Even “you” do not exist!

We all love to watch movies because we experience things we would not otherwise experience, but the real gift is realizing you are a movie within a movie and frankly there could be infinite layers to this scenario, like two mirrors facing each other.  The image/realities go on and on for as far as the eye can see.  In fact as far as our most powerful telescopes can see, reality appears as soon as we look. (Works with microscopes too)  So there can be no limit to the worlds which lay awaiting discovery.  The simple act of looking creates them!  (The Heisenberg principle) This is what discovery is, the act of looking at the hologram and seeing it for the first time.  What if every experience was perceived as the first one no matter how many times it had happened before?

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players:   They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages. At first, the infant, mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms. And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel and shining morning face, creeping like snail unwillingly to school. And then the lover, sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier, full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, seeking the bubble reputation even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice, in fair round belly with good capon lined, with eyes severe and beard of formal cut, full of wise saws and modern instances; and so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts into the lean and slipper’d pantaloon, with spectacles on nose and pouch on side, his youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide for his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice, turning again toward childish treble, pipes and whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, that ends this strange eventful history, is second childishness and mere oblivion, sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.” (Wikipedia.org)
