We are One

TransTime

Another view of being transgender centers around time. It feels to me that time is collapsing and lifetimes are blurring together. The many lives we live embody both sexes, various sexual orientations, different races, and body types of all shapes and sizes. The variety of Oneness. Humanity makes up just a small part of this Oneness though it is self aware to a point. Perhaps our next step is into deeper water. Into the Abyss of Life itself. I feel this connection to all that is. A serene experience no doubt.

Physics tells us that time is non-linear and the only purpose of linear time is to help our simple minds comprehend what is happening. In fact it’s all happening at once, past, present, future. How else could we imagine dinosaurs, future cities, and alien civilizations? We have gotten fairly specific with these visions! I say it is because we have experienced, are experiencing it, outside of time. The greater our Spirit grows the further we can see and the more we can experience. So it is not so much that I am transgender, but simply evolving to the next level of existence.

Curiosity, inquiry, and desire fuel this adventure. However, do not look outside for the answers for if you do then you will go without. Instead venture within. We each have the answers we seek. Simply be aware and beware what you wish for! Are you ready?

Space/Time and The Five Questions

Our universe consists of space/time and time/space both of which are mirror images of the other.  At the moment you are in space/time because you experience the physical world set in a certain time.  Space has 3 dimensions and time only one.  The mirror of this time/space has 3 dimensions of time and space only one.  In reality both have 3 dimensions.  Space is up/down, left/right, forward/backward and time is past, present, future.  The space/time physical experience only has the one time element, present, i.e. the time is NOW.

Having explained this very basic law of physics you now know where you are, right?  Not really….  This would require you know who you are and what you are.  The who, what, when, where and why questions of existence make life worth living in my humble opinion.  These are questions which have been intriguing mankind for millennia!  This essay will attempt to give an answer to each of them to some degree of practicality.

Of course these are answers I have arrived at and you may well arrive some place else!  Take what you read here with a grain of salt and move on with a bit more knowledge than which you arrived.  Let us start with the who.

Who are you?  In space/time we tend to experience ourselves as bodies, we think we are human beings or the animal human.  The flesh and blood human is in fact a vehicle or medium of experiencing this physical reality.  It is not ‘who’ you are, but perhaps where you are!  The where of our 5 questions can then be extended to the place of the physical body, i.e. sitting in a chair eating breakfast at the dining room table staring out the window at the fluffy white clouds as they float carelessly by.

As one question is answered all the questions are answered because the whole of it is One.  Understand our separation of each aspect/question is arbitrary and only used to help deepen the understanding of existence.  So we now know where we are.  Where the body is, is where you are at least in space/time.

The question of when you are is fairly simple since space/time has only one dimension, here and now.  So the where and when are answered rather easily.  The who, what, and why of it all are answered in concert because they are intrinsically connected.  I offer up only what I have learned from my studies and leave it to you to question further, as I am doing.

What I am, is an individuation of Source, Infinite Intelligence, God, which is also ‘who’ I am.  Same answer to both questions!  So who is God, Source, Infinite Intelligence?  That question is best left to another essay.  I will say that what and who I am is consciousness itself, and the when and where are subjective and relative to the physical experience of the physical body I identify with.  Why, is an arbitrary question and depends on the individuals interpretation of the other 4 questions.  Why for me is to know they self.  It is so God, Source, Infinite Intelligence can know itself.  Like pieces of a puzzle each person, place, and thing make up the whole and further define God, Source, Infinite Intelligence.  The combinations and experiences are infinite so the journey never ends!

When did it all begin?

When does transition begin?  Does it have a beginning? Or an end?  Transition is a process of change, so it never really has a beginning or an end, because change is on-going.  Ever since the big bang the universe has been expanding and changing!  There is no end.

On a more personal level, your transition began the day you were conceived!  What we experience and often think of as a “transition” are cycles or phases of change.  These occur at many levels and often at the same time.  Our bodies are growing all the time no matter how old you are.  Even at the age of 100 your body is growing new cells to replace old ones and this continues till the old ones far outweigh the new ones, then that body dies and the cycle begins again, in a new lifetime.  This is all going on while we experience emotional changes, mental changes, and spiritual changes.  Transition is multi-dimensional.

For those of us on a gender transition journey, the word “transition” holds unique meaning.  For most of us this journey begins when we start on hormones, however I will state that the first stage or cycle is questioning.  On my website I have an eleven step transitioning guide that outlines the steps as I see them based on my research and experiences.  There could be more or less steps; however, each phase is a transition in itself.  Take the hormones for instance; this phase or transition cycle has a specific start and significant steps along the path.  For those who have the surgery, the post op regimen will differ greatly from the pre-op cycle and the end is not the same for everyone.  Some post op transwomen take hormones the rest of their lives and others will stop taking hormones once they reach a certain age.

The cycles have certain similarities between people, but each person will have specific differences in their transition cycles or phases.  Our experiences define us to an extent, but they are not who we are. Life is made up of one experience after another like the layers of an onion, only far more complex.  So when does transition begin?  It depends on which one you are speaking of and who you are asking!  Blessings on your journey of Love 🙂    Sequoia Elisabeth

Time is of the Essence

There is no time like the present!  In fact there is no time but the present.  Are you listening?  The present time is the only time that exists, so are you making use of your time?  Transition is one of those things that takes time.  The physical transition alone will take at least three years.  Hormones take that long to reach the peak effects even though changes will be occurring during the whole process.

Planning your transition in advance has many advantages and can actually save you time in the long run.  The biggest mistake that people make when transitioning genders is to get into a hurry.  Don’t take my word for it, talk to others who have transitioned.  Relax, take a deep breath and let go for a minute.  Do an evaluation of where you are right now.  If you are still questioning whether transitioning is right for you then I would highly recommend talking to a gender specialist.  Therapy can help you go deeper into who you are and the path that you have chosen.

Notice I said chosen, because your life’s journey was chosen before you were born!  It is your job now to discover that path and follow it to the best of your ability.  This often takes on the appearance of you making a string of good decisions or possibly bad ones that lead you to where you are today.  Whether they are good or bad does not matter.  If you are a woman in a male body then it is best you do something about it.  The same goes for men in female bodies.  The sooner the better!  Let me stress that once more, THE SOONER THE BETTER.  Ask for help if you are having difficulty facing this.

We now have children facing these issues at an ever increasing rate.  This is great because the transition can be made complete when puberty is guided in the appropriate direction.  The right way to do this does not exist as an absolute.  The path I recommend is to have the child evaluated and after they insist they are transgender for two years solid the next step is hormone suppression.  Put puberty on hold till they are sixteen or a legal adult and then they can make the proper decisions from there.  Allow gender expression that suits the individual, not that meets the expectation of society.

I have a planning guide on my website that can be used to plan your transition.  Come up with a plan in advance.  Make sure you have money and maintain a source of income, because this gets expensive.  The electrolysis can be as expensive as the surgery so be aware of that.  The planning guide goes into specifics so I will not do so here.

Be aware that time can be your friend when it is used as such.  Even if you have postponed this transition for many years, once you make the decision to transition, make a plan, and take one step at a time.  I wish you a blessed journey!
