We are One

Conscious Language

This is a shared message from my friend Tony Burroughs (a link to his website is provided below).  This message is so well stated that it is included here in its entirety.  Just remember that your words are like prayers, so be careful what you wish for!

The Bridge ~ Step 21 ~ Conscious Language

Know that you are assisting others by your own realizations.
You then enhance and increase the possibilities
for others to go where you have been.

So much of our lives have been spent thinking that we can be frivolous with our spoken words, but now we’re finding out that it’s to our great advantage to be clear and concise about what we desire to manifest. We know that our words are the building-blocks of our future. With this in mind, we’ve eliminated five words that kept us un-empowered and no longer serve us well. In our circles, we’ve stopped using trying, hoping, wanting, to be, and not because they were interfering with the manifestation of our intentions. Today we will talk about the first three of these sabotaging words.

We eliminated “trying” because it’s a halfway word. It provides a built-in excuse to be unsuccessful. If you’re having a conversation with someone and you say, “I’ll meet you tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock ,” and their response is, “I’ll try,” it isn’t very reassuring.

We’ve also dropped “hoping” and “hopefully” from our vocabulary. When a person is “hoping” that something will happen, he or she is holding on to a little bit of doubt about whether their intention will really come true. If they replace “I hope” and “hopefully” with “I intend”, and really trust in the Intention Process, then things will begin to change for them. They will stop limiting themselves unknowingly.

Wanting is another word that we refrain from using in our Intenders Circles because it implies that there is a scarcity of things. We looked it up in the dictionary and it said that if we were in a state of wanting, then we were lacking. So now, instead of saying, “I want a new car,” we say, “I intend that I have a new car.” This slight change, though very subtle, has taken scarcity out of the picture and brought us much closer to our own empowerment.

You can easily tell what’s going on in the lives of your friends and acquaintances by listening closely to what they’re saying. If they are using these un-empowered words, then they are most-likely creating scarcity and limitation in their lives. You can help them to raise their level of consciousness by setting an example for them and, when they’re receptive, by gently explaining to them how their words are limiting their experience. When you do this, everyone is uplifted. And that energy radiates outward into your community and into the world you live in.

My Intention for today is:
I intend that I am only using words that serve me.

We encourage you to forward this message to your list of friends. If this message was sent to you from a friend, you can go to http://www.intenders.org to sign up free for The Intenders Bridge.

Beware What You Wish For

Are you aware of what you are wishing for?  Did you know that every word and thought is a prayer?  Once you start paying attention to your words and thoughts it is amazing to see how you are creating all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that occur in your life.  Some of these are deep issues that you chose to work on before you were born, so you will experience them whether you wish to or not.  Many others though are things you have picked up along the way.  We are constantly learning as soon as we have consciousness at some point in the fetal stage and the learning never stops.  By learning I mean receiving and processing data from your cognitive centers though both your physical senses and your mental senses.

What role do you play in your life?  Only everything.  Creating the life of your dreams is one of patience, persistence and faith.  On a conscious level, the thoughts you have connect to feelings you have about those thoughts and it is the feelings that are the fuel to manifestation.  Our beliefs about the thoughts or dreams are the doorway that either allow them or not.  This process can be a crazy seesaw effect of yes – no – maybe, so focus on your desire and let the doubts go.  When I say it takes persistence and patience I am not kidding, sometimes it is years before things actually materialize because of many reasons including the seesaw action combined with the feeling of knowing or faith that it is done!  Actually see it as done while feeling the effects of it.

This is how fear works so well to create that which we do NOT want.  Fear is often accompanied with deep emotions and feelings of dread, and the amount of energy combined with the obsessive nature of fear gives it fuel to manifest.  Since you know this now, use this same process in reverse by focusing on your dreams!  I cannot stress this more.  See only your desires and release all else.

Just by being aware of your thoughts and feelings you can pick and choose the ones we like most.  Choose Joy!  Because many of us have experiences of let down so often it can become a habit!  If you expect the worse then you reinforce this happening.  So if a thought crosses your mind that is unpleasant simply ask yourself what you want?  What is my desire?  “Oh I choose Joy”!  Where is the Joy in my life?  If I don’t see any then I need to look deeper, anything is possible.  Create it if you don’t see it.  Talk with a friend, see a movie, listen to music, or whatever you need to and the feelings will change to support your beliefs.  I am Joyful!  🙂  Sequoia Elisabeth
