The Law of Rhythm 7ULs

Today’s blog is all about the 5th Universal Law.  These laws govern everything in the Universe. This law falls in the category of mutable, meaning that it is possible to rise above this law.  Remember that when you are aware of the laws and how they work then you can make use of them.  Otherwise you are stumbling through the dark.

“The Law of Rhythm: “Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.” The second of the mutable Universal Laws tells us that the pendulum swings in everything. This principle can be seen in operation in the waves of the ocean, in the rise and fall of the greatest empires, in business cycles, in the swaying of your thoughts from being positive to negative and in your personal successes and failures. In accordance with this Law, when anything reaches a point of culmination then the backward swing begins almost unnoticeably until such time that any forward movement has been totally reversed, then the forward movement begins again and the process is repeated.

Rising Above the Law of Rhythm: To transcend the swing of the pendulum you must become aware of the subtle start of the backward movement in any of your endeavours whether it be to improve your health, your finances, your relationships or any goal you may set in motion. When you feel the Law start to draw you back do not become fearful or discouraged. Instead, knowing that you are one with the Omnipotent Universal Mind for which nothing is impossible, keep your thoughts focused on your outcome and fight to remain positive no matter how far back this transitory Law pulls you. Even if your efforts meet with failure, find comfort that by virtue of this very same Law, the upward motion must start again. In time your perseverance will be rewarded as the backward movements become weaker and eventually disappear.” (Kotsos 2011)

Like waves on the beach we all have our ups and downs.  When you get into this rhythm and go with the flow life is far easier.  Constantly swimming against the current is not only exhausting it is fruitless also.  Enjoy the bountiful times, and hold on during the sparse times.  It is like beginnings and endings, one leads into the other.

The way you use this in your transition is to always stay positive.  No matter what things appear to be like they will soon change.  I have traveled all over the USA and there is a saying that each community says no matter where I am.  “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute!”  I laugh because it is the same no matter where I go.  This is the Law of Rhythm.

The Law of Polarity 7ULs

The 4th of Seven Universal Laws is one that we face every day.  When understood and used consciously it can open so many doors that lead to Joy, Peace, and Love.  On the transition journey just seeing the polarity, knowing they are two parts of a whole, and embracing both parts leads to freedom.

“The Law of Polarity: “Everything is dual, everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree”. The first of the mutable Universal Laws tells us that there are two sides to everything. Things that appear as opposites are in fact only two extremes of the same thing. For instance heat and cold may appear to be opposites at first glance, but in truth they are simply varying degrees of the same thing. The same applies to love and hate, peace and war, positive and negative, good and evil, yes and no, light and darkness, energy and matter. You can transform your thoughts from hate to love, from fear to courage by consciously raising your vibrations. This is what in the ancient Hermetic Teachings is called the Art of Polarization.

Neutralizing the Law of Polarity: This Principle of Duality may appear to be very real in your life but it operates only in the physical and mental realms, not in the spiritual realm where All is One. As it says in the Bhagavad-Gita “God is Above the Opposites”. By always placing the all-powerful, all-knowing Great Spirit of which you are a part behind your every thought, statement and action, and by always focusing on the “good”, even when things appear to be going “bad”, then in time you will neutralize the Law of Polarity such that it ceases to operate in your life.” (Kotsos 2011)

Relating this Law to gender transition, male and female are parts of the whole and when you see this, transition becomes so much easier.  Take a paper sack and turn it inside out, notice the similarities and the differences.  Now turn your paper sack into a plastic bag.  Having difficulty with that?  Paper and plastic come from different elements and are thus not the same.  We are able to transition from male to female or female to male because each is a pole of the same thing, Human.  We are not turning coal into gold here; instead we are turning the sack inside out (or vice versa).

Focus on embracing both parts of the whole and putting them in place respective to your personal gender identity.  In essence you are showing the world who you are, not who they expect to see.  This is done by Loving all of your body, not just the parts you identify with.  How can you only Love a part of God?  Or Love only a part of your Partner?  True Love and complete transition is total, unconditional Love of all aspects of who you are, good or bad!

The Law of Vibration

The 3rd Universal Law is an elemental and immutable Universal Law, meaning that it is fixed and will not change.  Vibration is the fundamental nature of all energy in the Universe.  Transition is the process of shifting this vibrational frequency on a fundamental and permanent level.  Some change is temporary and other changes are permanent, so be aware how this Law works so that you may fully harness its benefits.

“The Law of Vibration: “Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates”. The third and last of the immutable Universal Laws, tells us that “the whole universe is but a vibration”. Science has confirmed that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies. The axiom that “like energy attracts like energy”, upon which the Law of Attraction is based, has its foundation in this Law. Everything that we experience with our five physical senses is conveyed through vibrations. The same applies to the mental realm. Your thoughts are vibrations. All your emotions are vibrations where “unconditional love” is the highest and most subtle of the emotional vibrations and “hate” is the densest and most base. You can learn to control your mental vibrations at will. This is true thought power.” (Kotsos 2011)

There are some wonderful videos online that go into the specifics of energy or vibrational frequency, although most are over simplifications.  This is a complex process that exists at many levels from quarks to Universes.  Movement is our nature, so understand this and work with it.  The density of the object is relative to the vibrational frequency of the molecules within the object.  The slower the vibration the more dense it is.  Energy is neither created nor destroyed it merely changes form.  The process of forming diamonds from coal takes immense pressure and heat (two kinds of energy) combined to shift the vibrational frequency of the coal to that of a diamond (From Lower to Higher Energy).  Man has figured out how to harness this process and create diamonds!  We are becoming Masters of our environment, at least at this 3D level.  With this awesome power comes responsibility.  This same power can destroy us as we have witnessed in the Atomic Bomb.

Thought is energy that vibrates and combines with the molecules of the body to manifest a shift in expression.  All healing and changes in appearance begin as thought.  The scale of this thought determines its power.  Aging for instance is a Universal Conscious thought, so everyone on earth ages.  In order to forgo aging one must vibrate above the frequency of this Universal Consciousness.  Spiritual Masters can do this, and many have done so.  You too can do this!  Your physical structure can be changed by aligning your bodily vibration with that which you desire.  This of course applies to any healing, cosmetic changes, gender transition, body building, etc.  You may have heard the saying, “If you wish to be a millionaire then think like one”.  The same applies to whatever it is you desire; Be It.  In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the Peace (insert word) you desire in the world”.

The Second Universal Law

The Law of Correspondence (the second Universal Law) contains a power which cannot be understated.  In this immutable Law of the Universe your life will transform for the better when fully understood and implemented.  It is not hard either, however it does take time to see this Law in action and therefore understand it fully.

The Law of Correspondence: “As above, so below; as below, so above”. This Law tells us there is “harmony, agreement and correspondence” between the physical, mental, and spiritual realms. There is no separation since everything in the Universe, including you, originates from the One Source. The same pattern is expressed on all planes of existence from the smallest electron to the largest star and vice versa. All is One. The Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi was referring to this great Law of Correspondence in the inscription “Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the Universe”. (Kotsos 2011)

We are One!  When you hear the statement God is all there is, this pretty much sums it up, but as simple as it is, it can be very difficult to conceptualize.  Stop what you are doing or thinking and contemplate “We are all One”.  This means everything is connected and working together even though the opposite may appear at times.  In fact your opposite is a part of you too.  The significance of this is what you see around you, what is happening to you and what is happening inside you are all a part of YOU.  Each aspect of your being is connected, your thoughts, your body, and your spirit are always in communication and when your mind is open you can be aware of this fact.

The Spirit has a larger view than the mental or physical aspects of your being so it is generally a good idea to be aware of the Spirit and follow its guidance.  Since we are all one this guidance in effect is God.  I have written about this many times before, so please understand that if God is all there is; then you are God, even if this is a small aspect of God.  As stated above the same pattern is expressed on all planes of existence.  A hologram is an image that reflects in 3D while containing the whole.  The One Source is reflected in all things at all levels.  When you start looking for patterns repeated on different levels it is amazing what reveals itself.  For instance, each cell in your body is alive, take the cell out of the body and it will continue living.  Within the cells are organs which are alive they are smaller patterns of the larger whole.  You are the larger whole.  Each person on earth makes up a collective human race like cells in the body of Gaia.  The solar system is made up of bodies called planets, and galaxies are made up of bodies called solar systems….

If you put a mirror in front of a mirror you see the pattern repeated as far as the eye can see.  This is what the holographic effect is.  This is what the One Source has done.  Everything in the Universe is a reflection of God.  So, the next time you get angry with your brother for taking something that belonged to you, ask yourself, if we are one, who really owns that something?  Is it really gone if we are all One?  When you give a present to your best friend, aren’t you giving that gift to yourself?  Since we are all One!  Maybe you can see the significance of this Universal Law, so now go out and test it, look for it and experience it.  Oneness is profound, almost beyond belief!!

The Seven Universal Laws

It is time to review the “The Seven Universal Laws Explained by Tania Kotsos”.  The reason being is the basics get us through the hard times.  Inquiring minds want to know, so I encourage you to develop one!  Question reality at all times, and at the same time be not afraid to move forward.  There are no mistakes, only different choices.  All roads lead home.  Take your time, it is all relative anyway!

“There are seven Universal Laws or Principles by which everything in the Universe is governed. The Universe exists in perfect harmony by virtue of these Laws. Ancient mystical, esoteric and secret teachings dating back over 5,000 years from Ancient Egypt to Ancient Greece and to the Vedic tradition of Ancient India, all have as their common thread these seven Spiritual Laws of the Universe. Once you understand, apply and align yourself with these Universal Laws, you will experience transformation in every area of your life beyond that which you have ever dared to imagine.”  (Kotsos 2011)

“Of the seven Universal Laws, the first three are immutable, eternal Laws, meaning they are Absolute and can never be changed or transcended. They have always existed and will always exist. The other four laws are transitory, mutable Laws meaning that they can be transcended or at least “better used” to create your ideal reality. This is not to say that you should ignore these four Laws or attempt to defy them for even if you do they will still govern your existence. Your aim is to master each of the seven Universal Laws and only then learn to transcend the mutable ones.

The Law of Mentalism: “The All is Mind – The Universe is Mental”. The first of the Universal Laws tells us that “All is Mind”. That everything we see and experience in our physical world has its origin in the invisible, mental realm. It tells us that there is a single Universal Consciousness – the Universal Mind – from which all things manifest. All energy and matter at all levels is created by and is subordinate to the Omnipresent Universal Mind. Your mind is part of the Universal Mind – the same in kind with the only difference being one of degree. Your reality is a manifestation of your mind. This is true Mind Power.” (Kotsos 2011)

Sooo…, What do you think? (Pun intended, giggles ;- ) Consider this quote by Ernest Holmes, the author of Science of Mind. “There is but one Mind, the Mind of God, and that Mind is my Mind Now.”  It is hard to believe that God could be thinking some of the things I have been thinking, especially in my adolescence; however, I will skip the ego mind vs. the God Mind in this blog because we have covered that before (write to me if you would like to know more).  The power of this Universal Law is that by careful attention and diligent weeding you can change your thoughts to align with your desires.  The Universal Mind can also be shifted in your perception so that you experience your desires, although ultimately all desires are the same; to know God.  Even the desire to wipe God from your Mind results in knowing God!  We are all God – Godding!

The Littlest Angel Part II

Part II continues the story of the Little Soul… (Be sure to read previous blog first)

It was then that the Little Soul realized a large crowd had gathered. Souls had come from far and wide — from all over the Kingdom — for the word had gone forth that the Little Soul was having this extraordinary conversation with God, and everyone wanted to hear what they were saying.

Looking at the countless other souls gathered there, the Little Soul had to agree. None appeared less wonderful, less magnificent, or less perfect than the Little Soul itself. Such was the wonder of the souls gathered around, and so bright was their Light, that the Little Soul could scarcely gaze upon them.

“Who, then, to forgive?” asked God.

“Boy, this is going to be no fun at all!” grumbled the Little Soul. “I wanted to experience myself as One Who Forgives. I wanted to know what that part of special felt like.”

And the Little Soul learned what it must feel like to be sad.

But just then a Friendly Soul stepped forward from the crowd. “Not to worry, Little Soul,” the Friendly Soul said, “I will help you.”

“You will?” the Little Soul brightened. “But what can you do?”

“Why, I can give you someone to forgive!”

“You can?”

“Certainly!” chirped the Friendly Soul. “I can come into your next lifetime and do something for you to forgive.”

“But why? Why would you do that?” the Little Soul asked. “You, who are a Being of such utter perfection! You, who vibrate with such a speed that it creates a Light so bright that I can hardly gaze upon you! What could cause you to want to slow down your vibration to such a speed that your bright Light would become dark and dense? What could cause you — who are so light that you dance upon the stars and move through the Kingdom with the speed of your thought — to come into my life and make yourself so heavy that you could do this bad thing?”

“Simple,” the Friendly Soul said. “I would do it because I love you.”

The Little Soul seemed surprised at the answer.

“Don’t be so amazed,” said the Friendly Soul, “you have done the same thing for me. Don’t you remember? Oh, we have danced together, you and I, many times. Through the eons and across all the ages have we danced. Across all time and in many places have we played together. You just don’t remember.

“We have both been All Of It. We have been the Up and the Down of it, the Left and the Right of it. We have been the Here and the There of it, the Now and the Then of it. We have been the male and the female, the good and the bad — we have both been the victim and the villain of it.

“Thus have we come together, you and I, many times before; each bringing to the other the exact and perfect opportunity to Express and to Experience Who We Really Are.

“And so,” the Friendly Soul explained a little further, “I will come into your next lifetime and be the ‘bad one’ this time. I will do something really terrible, and then you can experience yourself as the One Who Forgives.”

“But what will you do?” the Little Soul asked, just a little nervously, “that will be so terrible?”

“Oh,” replied the Friendly Soul with a twinkle, “we’ll think of something.”

Then the Friendly Soul seemed to turn serious, and said in a quiet voice, “You are right about one thing, you know.”

“What is that?” the Little Soul wanted to know.

“I will have to slow down my vibration and become very heavy to do this not-so-nice thing. I will have to pretend to be something very unlike myself. And so, I have but one favor to ask of you in return.”

“Oh, anything, anything!” cried the Little Soul, and began to dance and sing, “I get to be forgiving, I get to be forgiving!” Then the Little Soul saw that the Friendly Soul was remaining very quiet.

“What is it?” the Little Soul asked. “What can I do for you? You are such an angel to be willing to do this for me!”

“Of course this Friendly Soul is an angel!” God interrupted. “Everyone is! Always remember: I have sent you nothing but angels.”

And so the Little Soul wanted more than ever to grant the Friendly Soul’s request. “What can I do for you?” the Little Soul asked again.

“In the moment that I strike you and smite you,” the Friendly Soul replied, “in the moment that I do the worst to you that you could possible imagine — in that very moment . . .”

“Yes?” the Little Soul interrupted, “yes . . . ?”

The Friendly Soul became quieter still.

“Remember Who I Really Am.”

“Oh, I will!” cried the Little Soul, “I promise! I will always remember you as I see you right here, right now!”

“Good,” said the Friendly Soul, “because, you see, I will have been pretending so hard, I will have forgotten myself. And if you do not remember me as I really am, I may not be able to remember for a very long time. And if I forget Who I Am, you may even forget Who You Are, and we will both be lost. Then we will need another soul to come along and remind us both of Who We Are.”

“No, we won’t!” the Little Soul promised again. “I will remember you! And I will thank you for bringing me this gift — the chance to experience myself as Who I Am.”

And so, the agreement was made. And the Little Soul went forth into a new lifetime, excited to be the Light, which was very special, and excited to be that part of special called Forgiveness.

And the Little Soul waited anxiously to be able to experience itself as Forgiveness, and to thank whatever other soul made it possible.

And at all the moments in that new lifetime, whenever a new soul appeared on the scene, whether that new soul brought joy or sadness — and especially if it brought sadness — the Little Soul thought of what God had said.

“Always remember,” God had smiled, “I have sent you nothing but angels.”

The Little Soul and the Sun  by Neale Donald Walsch is available as a children’s book on amazon.  Along with the many other books he has written.  I highly recommend all of his books, esp. the Conversations with God series.  This little story here brings new light to the Christian Prayer of Peace.  Think about what each sentence means in terms of this story we have just read.

Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be known as the Children of God.

But I say to you that hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

To those who strike you on the cheek offer the other also,

and from those who take away your cloak, do not withhold your coat as well.

Give to everyone who begs from you, and of those who take away your goods,

do not ask them again.

And as you wish that others would to do you, do so to them.

Blessings on your Journey of Love ♥

The Littlest Angel Part I

Transitions Blog presents a wonderful story about an angel who is discovering who it is.  The story speaks directly to each of us and offers a reminder to those on the Journey of Love.  Please read as the part of the Little Soul, unless you prefer another part.  As Neale teaches in his awesome “Conversations with God” book series, You are, unless you are not!  The choice is yours.

The Little Soul and the Sun

By Neale Donald Walsh

ONCE UPON NO TIME, there was a Little Soul who said to God, “I know who I am!”

And God said, “That’s wonderful! Who are you?”

And the Little Soul shouted, “I’m the Light!”

God smiled a big smile. “That’s right!” God exclaimed. “You are the Light.”

The Little Soul was so happy, for it had figured out what all the souls in the Kingdom were there to figure out. “Wow,” said the Little Soul, “this is really cool!”

But soon, knowing who it was, was not enough. The Little Soul felt stirrings inside, and now wanted to be who it was. And so the Little Soul went back to God (which is not a bad idea for all souls who want to be Who They Really Are) and said, “Hi, God! Now that I know Who I am, is it okay for me to be it?”

And God said, “You mean you want to be Who You Already Are?”

“Well,” replied the Little Soul, “it’s one thing to know Who I Am, and another thing altogether to actually be it. I want to feel what it’s like to be the Light!”

“But you already are the Light,” God repeated, smiling again.

“Yes, but I want to see what that feels like!” cried the Little Soul.

“Well,” said God with a chuckle, “I suppose I should have known. You always were the adventuresome one.” Then God’s expression changed. “There’s only one thing . . .”

“What?” asked the Little Soul.

“Well, there is nothing else but the Light. You see, I created nothing but what you are; and so, there is no easy way for you to experience yourself as Who You Are, since there is nothing that you are not.”

“Huh?” said the Little Soul, who was now a little confused.

“Think of it this way,” said God. “You are like a candle in the Sun. Oh, you’re there all right. Along with a million, ka-gillion other candles who make up the Sun. And the sun would not be the Sun without you.

Nay, it would be a sun without one of its candles . . . and that would not be the Sun at all; for it would not shine as brightly. Yet, how to know yourself as the Light when you are amidst the Light — that is the question.”

“Well,” the Little Soul perked up, “you’re God. Think of something!”

Once more God smiled. “I already have,” God said. “Since you cannot see yourself as the Light when you are in the Light, we’ll surround you with darkness.”

“What’s darkness?” the Little Soul asked.

God replied, “It is that which you are not.”

“Will I be afraid of the dark?” cried the Little Soul.

“Only if you choose to be,” God answered. “There is nothing, really, to be afraid of, unless you decide that there is. You see, we are making it all up. We are pretending.”

“Oh,” said the Little Soul, and felt better already.

Then God explained that, in order to experience anything at all, the exact opposite of it will appear. “It is a great gift,” God said, “because without it, you could not know what anything is like.

“You could not know Warm without Cold, Up without Down, Fast without Slow. You could not know Left without Right, Here without There, Now without Then.”

“And so,” God concluded, “when you are surrounded with darkness, do not shake your fist and raise your voice and curse the darkness.

“Rather be a Light unto the darkness, and don’t be mad about it. Then you will know Who You Really Are, and all others will know, too. Let your Light shine so that everyone will know how special you are!”

“You mean it’s okay to let others see how special I am?” asked the Little Soul.

“Of course!” God chuckled. “It’s very okay! But remember, ‘special’ does not mean ‘better.’ Everybody is special, each in their own way! Yet many others have forgotten that. They will see that it is okay for them to be special only when you see that it is okay for you to be special.”

“Wow,” said the Little Soul, dancing and skipping and laughing and jumping with joy. “I can be as special as I want to be!”

“Yes, and you can start right now,” said God, who was dancing and skipping and laughing right along with the Little Soul. “What part of special do you want to be?”

“What part of special?” the Little Soul repeated. “I don’t understand.”

“Well,” God explained, “being the Light is being special, and being special has a lot of parts to it. It is special to be kind. It is special to be gentle. It is special to be creative. It is special to be patient. Can you think of any other ways it is special to be?”

The Little Soul sat quietly for a moment. “I can think of lots of ways to be special!” the Little Soul then exclaimed. “It is special to be helpful. It is special to be sharing. It is special to be friendly. It is special to be considerate of others!”

“Yes!” God agreed, “and you can be all of those things, or any part of special you wish to be, at any moment. That’s what it means to be the Light.”

“I know what I want to be, I know what I want to be!” the Little Soul announced with great excitement. “I want to be the part of special called ‘forgiving.’ Isn’t it special to be forgiving?”

“Oh, yes,” God assured the Little Soul. “That is very special.”

“Okay,” said the Little Soul. “That’s what I want to be. I want to be forgiving. I want to experience myself as that.”

“Good,” said God, “but there’s one thing you should know.”

The Little Soul was becoming a bit impatient now. It always seemed as though there were some complication. “What is it?” the Little Soul sighed.

“There is no one to forgive.”

“No one?” The Little Soul could hardly believe what had been said.

“No one!” God repeated. “Everything I have made is perfect. There is not a single soul in all creation less perfect than you. Look around you.”

The story continues in the next blog… so be sure to return tomorrow and/or click subscribe on the upper right.  Thanks for reading.

The Human Gift

We all have certain ‘gifts’ which we are born with.  They have been developed over many lifetimes.  Each time you learn a lesson or develop a skill it becomes a part of you.  (You are what you eat)  It is sort of like picking a fruit from the Garden of Eden and this fruit is not forbidden.  In fact it is waiting on the vine just for you!   Some would call this destiny, others opportunity.  Whatever you call it, a gift is a gift!

Imagine yourself in a big dark forest.  You look around and see a path so you start walking.  Along the way you see other paths.  You get confused, and wonder which one is the right one?  But then you remember, God is infinite intelligence and you trust the path before you was placed there for a reason.  The most illuminated path is the one to enlightenment!  So off you go on your Journey of Love…

Life is so simple.  The easy part is up to you.  Most important is believing in yourself and having faith in Divine Guidance.  It is a human gift to have this direct connection to Divine Source!  We are conscious of it and thus make the aware decision to follow the path to enlightenment.  Along the way we realize enlightenment is our divine birthright of which we were born.  Yes, you are enlightened and as you become aware of this gift, the light gets brighter and brighter; the path clearer and more rewarding.

Humanity is a gift unto itself!  Society has many tools for exploring this gift.  The one most of us enjoy is story telling.  The movies and TV make this process very compelling, because you can experience another’s journey indirectly and learn about yourself in the process.  The moral shared most often in these stories is the most profound lesson of them all.  “Love is the most powerful force in the Universe.”  We have heard this so many times that many forget its importance.  Love is who we are, not what we seek!  Did you get that?  Once again, You are Love, expressing!!  What greater gift to humanity could there possibly be?

Multi-Dimensional Life

We live in more dimensions than simply the 3rd (the physical world you think is real).  Actually life is much more complex than we realize.  For simplicities sake we are only aware of one dimension at a time.  At this stage of the game the brain can only process data from one dimension at a time.  However this is changing, the human body is evolving.  Our minds are expanding and the body we need to process this information is growing to keep pace.

When you sleep your life is lived in another dimension.  It is where the 3rd dimensional life is constructed.  It is a realm of the Spirit because you feel no pain there and yet you do feel things just in a different way – sometime pleasurable, sometimes frightful.

Have you ever experienced Deja’vu?  You know the experience of already having lived a certain series of events.  This is the mind connecting the dots; remembering both the dream creation and the 3rd dimensional experience.  It means you are on the right track, doing precisely what you intended to do.  The dream world is quite fascinating and if you practice you can remember your dreams quite clearly.

Set your intention to remember your dream before going to sleep.  Keep a writing pad by the bed and when you awaken write down as much as you can.  Move slowly, and stay relaxed.  Focus on the dream and remembering.  Once the dream is written down you can process the dream.  Another important thing to do is ask yourself what the dream means, what is significant?  Pay attention to your feelings as messages are often conveyed in feelings.

The dream world is your life in another dimension.  If you intentionally meditate on other dimensions you can experience them as well.  Having a guide on these mediations is helpful.  Many good meditations exist online, youtube, etc. and certain aids can be helpful.  Binaural beat sound therapy is excellent at harmonizing the brain to function at full capacity.  There are natural chemicals that help you attain the experience of other dimensions such as Ayahuasca (ayawaska), Peyote, psilocybin mushrooms, etc.  (Artificial or man-made chemicals/drugs are both dangerous and harmful so stay away from these!)

Sacred Geometry is another great tool to assist in this journey.  The emissary wheel with its 12 pointed star is perfect to travel the twelve dimensions.  The Merkaba is another good tool for meditation.  These methods are offered for your research, so experiment with different techniques, but do not become attached to any one method.  Let go and let God, while always seeking to expand and deepen your experience.  Intention is so important in this Journey of Love!

Pride Month

The phrase “Pride cometh before a fall” probably came from the 1611, King James Version of the Bible, Book of Proverbs, 16:18.  Some versions say it this way, “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”  Either way the point is fairly obvious.  A person who is extremely proud of his or her abilities will often suffer a setback or failure, because he or she tends to be overconfident and to make errors of judgment.

Have you ever thought of how Pride fits into your life?  If you are GLBTQ then you have probably attended a Pride festival of some type.  There is an interesting irony to this event, so I would like to share a few thoughts on Pride since June is rapidly approaching and Pride festivals will be taking place all over the USA and elsewhere.

Let’s look at this word a little closer, Pride [prahyd] noun, verb, prid·ed, prid·ing.

Noun ~

1. A high or inordinate opinion of one’s owns dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

2. The state or feeling of being proud.

3. A becoming or dignified sense of what is due to oneself or one’s position or character; self-respect; self-esteem.

4. Pleasure or satisfaction taken in something done by or belonging to oneself or believed to reflect credit upon oneself: civic pride.

5. Something that causes a person or persons to be proud: His art collection was the pride of the family.

If we again look even closer one word seems to jump out in the definition, Ego.  Look at the synonyms for Pride – conceit, self-esteem, egotism, vanity, vain glory, implies an unduly favorable idea of one’s own appearance, advantages, achievements, etc., and often applies to offensive characteristics. Pride is a lofty and often arrogant assumption of superiority in some respect: Pride must have a fall. Conceit implies an exaggerated estimate of one’s own abilities or attainments, together with pride: blinded by conceit. Self-esteem may imply an estimate of oneself that is higher than those held by others: a ridiculous self-esteem. Egotism implies an excessive pre-occupation with oneself or with one’s own concerns, usually but not always accompanied by pride or conceit: His egotism blinded him to others’ difficulties. Vanity implies self-admiration and an excessive desire to be admired by others: His vanity was easily flattered. Vain glory, somewhat literary, implies an inordinate and therefore empty or unjustified pride: puffed up by vain glory – boast.

The antonym is humility!  Jesus taught us to have a humble approach to life and not get caught up in our own achievements.  Life is about what you have to offer – what you give!  Pride has its uses and serves to balance life, but it is a trap so many of us fall prey to.  Celebrate your successes, feel good about yourself, know that you have great worth, and do it with humility, so you can avoid the fall!

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

Looking for Love in all the wrong places!  While that makes a good song, it does not have to be your mantra.  Yet, I find many who are doing precisely that.  They look for love in other counties, other states, or other places than right where they are.  They might as well stop looking.  Love does not work this way.

Love is found within your very own heart!  It is not outside you and certainly not across the ocean, although you may have to cross an ocean of emotion to find Love.  The journey of love begins by looking in the mirror; see the person looking back at you.  Introduce yourself, and look into their eyes.  Feel the feeling, whatever it may be.  Sit with it for a while.  Vow to take care of this person staring back at you.  Tell them you Love them.  Search deep down for this Joyful, light, and wondrous feeling of Love.  It probably will not show itself right away.  So this exercise becomes a daily event!

The next step is to go about your business of living life.  Stop Looking for Love!  Instead, let Love find you.  As you are living and doing the things you enjoy, life will lead you to the Love you seek.  It will be a sustainable Love, one you can live with because that is precisely what you are doing!

The practice of looking into the mirror may be uncomfortable or even scary at first, but after a while you will come to Love this person and this very act will be giving others permission to do the same.

There will be mis-steps and let downs along the way.  This is life!  Just keep moving forward and focus on living a Joyous life.  Be generous with your Joy, share it with everyone!  As you do this people are drawn to you.  Now listen to your heart and it will let you know when the right person comes along.

Knowing what you desire in a partner is vital to the process.  Look deep within your heart and ask “Who am I?”  “What am I looking for in a relationship?”  “How can I best express my Love?”  The answers will bring your desires to life.

Love has only the limits you place upon it.  Love is like a fill in the blank quiz, and you hold all the answers ♥

Hope is the Denial of Reality

Hope: the quintessential fabrication of man.  The word is hollow and gives promises it cannot deliver.  Hope misguides, vilifies, and pontificates!  Do you have any idea what the word actually means?  Let us venture into the world of Hope.

“Hope is the denial of reality.” ~ Margaret Weis, Dragons of Winter Night

Dictionary.com states the meaning this way: the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best; to feel that something desired may happen.  Look very closely at this wording and examine the feeling it brings.

First of all Hope is a feeling, not something tangible or concrete.  It is a want, a state of mind that acknowledges a possibility but not a reality.  Wanting is another hollow feeling that can give nothing more than the feeling!  “May happen” is a statement of doubt.  It is saying, “This is something that may happen but I doubt it will”.

Is doubt what you intend?  Maybe it is just a good feeling that you desire?  From my experience this is precisely what is being requested.  “I desire to feel good” There is nothing better for making you feel good than Hope!!  However, that is all you will get!

If you truly desire the outcome you “hope” for, then I recommend dropping the word and choosing a more positive and affirmative request.  I trust all is well in my world!  I feel positive you will get what is coming to you.  May all your dreams be true!

Do you get the idea?  Come not from a place of Hope (doubt) but a place of Trust (faith).  Know that your desires are met, the moment you express them.  The form may be different than you imagined, but rest assured they are true in some form.

“Hope is a state of mind, not of the world. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense, is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises that are obviously heading for success, but rather an ability to work for something because it is good.”  ~Vaclav Havel

Vaclav has a positive view of Hope and I wish to end on the positive.  Hope is not bad, it is simply a feeling.  If a feeling is what you desire then Hope is your word.  If however you desire a tangible experience try using Trust or Faith.  Know that our desires are real and this is your experience!  Look deeply and you will see this truth.  Be aware what you wish for, you will get it!

Group Therapy

Groups are therapeutic and a very effective method of coping with any issue needing attention.  Groups are often used as a support mechanism for specific issues of a specialized demographic.  There are certain guidelines every group should go by to attain the best results for all participating and are as follows.

A group is three or more people sitting in a circle with one person as a facilitator.  It is best for the group to stay below 12 members for the best interaction but can be as large as 20 before effectiveness is lost.  If the group gets larger then it is best to break up into smaller groups after the introduction is given or from the very start.

The facilitator’s purpose is to lead the group – provide direction.  It is best for this person to be a peer or somehow seen as an equal.  They can be a trained doctor, minister or manager, but the group must see this person as a peer or someone who has walked the road they have traveled and can provide guidance.

The group must have a purpose or theme to it.  For instance, the topic can be very general such as substance abuse or more specific such as alcoholism.  The group can be targeted to a specific population such as employees of the company or members of an organization or they can be open to the public.  This will depend on the organization or individual sponsoring the group.  The topics for groups are as varied as the imagination.  They do not have to be centered on psychological disorders or illness.  The group could be a sewing group that meets to socialize and share techniques & ideas.  Or the group could be a think tank with ideas to improve performance of an organization.  The guidelines offered here still apply.

The group needs ground rules for process and procedure in writing, and available to every participant.  The group does not need to be strict, but it does need a basic framework.  Having a set ritual or procedure adds structure and allows the group to operate smoothly with a minimum of interference from the facilitator.  It is important to maintain equality in the group so each participant feels comfortable sharing.  The facilitator could rotate to a different person each time.  The important thing is to stay focused on the topic and allow (encourage) everyone to participate equally.

Having the group size small and structured in a circle is vital in maintaining the air of equality.  The more intimate the group the deeper the sharing and the more each person will get out of the process.  Simply being in the group will be beneficial, however the more a person participates, the better for everyone.  A good group will operate on spontaneity with each person speaking without interrupting another.

In review, groups are 3 or more individuals with a common purpose who come together for the betterment of all.  They have the structure of written guidelines facilitated by a peer in a compassionate and mature fashion.  The group has a purpose or topic and it is made clear in the introduction of the meeting so all participants know beforehand.   The group sits in a circle facing each other and the size of the group is limited to 12 ideally or no more than 20.

Groups have been used since the beginning of society.  A child is born into a group (family), so it is only natural to use groups for working through issues and to simply socialize.  Humans are social animals after all!

Soul Groups

Soul groups work together in each lifetime to reach a collective goal.  Each soul will have individual goals as well.  You may or may not know who is in your soul group consciously in this lifetime.  They are usually the ones who “come to your rescue” or appear out of nowhere to put you back on track.  They may only be in your life for a few minutes, or they may be in your life for the entire time (family members).  This of course does not mean that just because they are family members they are in your soul group.

This blog came to me last night and I share it, not as fact, but as intuitive knowing.  Many books have been written about soul groups and what I share here now is icing on the cake or a glimpse of the iceberg.  If this intrigues you as it does me, be sure to read Home with God: In a Life That Never Ends, by Neale Donald Walsch and Journey of Souls, by Dr. Michael Newton.

Soul group size varies, from 10-50 individuals maybe more, seldom less.  Everything you experience in life is voluntary, often an agreement made in the group before you incarnated.  The knowledge you have along the way is on a need to know basis.  This serves several purposes; one is to keep it light and easier to accomplish the goals.  Another is simplification.

There is no failure, it simply is not possible.  Your purpose is reached before you move on to other experiences.  “Here is the test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: if you’re alive, it isn’t.” Richard Bach

You are never ever alone!  It may seem like you are alone and it often does feel that way, but rest assured you have a guardian angel and a Spiritual Guide with you at all times.  Sometimes they intervene to assist your journey, but often they do not because you contracted for the experience.  Even the starving children you see on TV and war torn countries have contracted for the experience, they are volunteers.  It may be your purpose to help them or it may be to harm them (usually indirectly, but sometime directly as a soldier or something).  This is why we are taught not to judge others.  You have no idea what their purpose is or why they are doing what they are doing (or not doing).  Ask for understanding and guidance and you will receive it.  Be open because it often comes in odd ways.

If it helps your journey you will know of other soul group members, if it does not, then you simply will not know.  Do not be concerned with who they are or why they are here.  Instead be open to your journey or purpose.  Why are you here and what can you do to further your experience?  It will take as long as it takes, meaning you could live 100 years, or 100 minutes.  Living in this context is relative since no one ever really dies.  It is a perception to die and if you do “die” before your time you have the option to return and skip that experience if you choose.  It is all about the purposes you and your soul group agreed upon.  This experience is often called a crossroads and many people reach this place at one time or another on their journey.

Remember the story is ever going, like the spokes of a wheel spinning!  Soul group members may die as one person only to return as another.  A great grandmother could return to be a grandchild or whatever, the possibilities are mind boggling.  It is even possible for your pets to be a part of your soul or a soul group member.

The Love you surround yourself with is an extension of you.  This can take a multitude of forms; however in these modern times our electronics are an extension of who we are, our wisdom, intelligence, imagination, and creativity.  As I have written many times before, everything you do, say, and think define you as a person.  There is no right or wrong although there is harmony and disharmony.  Going with the flow, loving all whom you meet, and being true to self are steps on the path of harmony.

The Truth About Bullies

We have been hearing much about bullying in the schools and elsewhere recently.  It is being blamed for suicide, criminal behavior, and general pain and suffering.  Once you understand what is going on, the blaming can stop and the healing can begin.

Bullying is a vicious cycle that is handed down from generation to generation, by individuals who simply are not aware of what they do.  They are generally more concerned about themselves than they are about others.  Yes, I speak of the parents who in their struggle to survive, ignore their children and sometimes even abuse them.  Bullying is something that must be learned and it is often a byproduct of neglect and abuse.

Looking closer it is something we can all relate to, even those who grew up in loving supportive families.  Why is this?   I mean if bullies are from broken homes, how can an average child relate to this?  There must be more to this than meets the eye!

The fact is we all have to deal with bullies to some degree because it is a rite of passage!  Not that it is required, however we all have egos and part of growing up is facing the ego.  The Oneness Principle that I speak so often about dictates that there is only one, so everyone you meet is a reflection of you or an aspect of you.  Some people refer to this as meeting your dark side.  (You will find whatever you are looking for, i.e. expecting)

Have the courage to stand your ground while not stooping to the bully’s level.  Fighting only makes it worse, whether you use fists, words, or other retaliations.   What you give is what you receive!  Do onto others as you would have done to you.  If someone bullies you, calls you bad names, hits you, harasses you, etc. then your re-action will determine the outcome.

First of all understand they have probably endured the very same thing and are simply passing it along.  They are in pain also, and are venting in the only way they know how.  It is a compensation behavior designed to feel better, but unfortunately it only makes the pain worse.  Oh, it may work temporarily to relieve the pain by giving it to someone else, but since this is a circle it only comes back!  And usually it has picked up momentum and hurts worse.  It can be a dead end street that leads to drastic places, like prison, and suicide for both the bully and the “victim”.

There are no victims my friends, only volunteers!  The victim mentality is of the ego and serves to prove its existence.   There is no enemy here, not even the ego!  This is very important to understand.  There is only you!  The answer is Love, Self -Love ultimately, but it can start by loving others, including the bully.

Even if you cannot forgive the bully at first, simply withhold judgment or any action and know they simply are crying out for love and do not understand what is really going on.  No action is necessary, but if you feel the need then stand up for yourself and seek assistance from someone in authority, a teacher, parent, policeman, counselor, or adult friend.  Maturity is what the situation demands.  Talking about the situation can be a great relief.  Understand that you are not alone.  Seek and ye shall find.  Remember the bully needs more help than you do!

The Matrix of Oneness

The concept of Oneness is essential to the New Earth, so I would like to revisit this concept, understanding, philosophy, life style, and/or way of being.  Oneness once fully understood and integrated totally shifts your experience of life itself.  It could be said this is enlightenment, although once you understand Oneness you realize you already are enlightened.  This is the beauty of Oneness!

Oneness is all inclusive and very simple in concept, but the reality in this ego world is that separation is struggling to maintain a hold on life. This shows up in turmoil, conflict, hate, fear, and loneliness. The only way to move beyond the illusion of separation is to embrace it and see it for what it is; an illusion. When something comes up that you recognize as separation, simply acknowledge it, see beyond it and then just leave separation behind as a concept. Ignore it, it has no power. Instead focus on the Truth. The Truth is that we are One unified and whole being. We are Gaia!

Oneness is Unity expressed, it is love thy neighbor as thy love’s oneself, it is making decisions with the consideration of seven generations to come, it is knowing we are all made of ‘Starstuff’, and it is so much more. Oneness is the realization that everyone you meet is a part of Great Spirit, Universal Intelligence, or God, just like you are, and you have this in common with everything as well as everyone you meet. Each person is individual and connected at the same time.

What you give, you give to yourself, since we are all one.  What you deny for another, you deny yourself.  What you say about another you say about yourself!  What comes around goes around…When you heal yourself, you heal the world!  You are using the same mind as Albert Einstein, or Mother Theresa.   You are ONE with GOD, in a word you are GOD, expressing as the individual you are.  Each form or “thing” you see is unique onto itself.

No two snowflakes are the same, yet a snowflake is like all other snowflakes, just not identical. This goes for all other forms as well.  And even in each moment you are different.  The “you” of last week is different from the “you” of now, which is depicted in this picture of Neo from the Matrix Movie.  The Divine Paradox is: all is the One/Same, yet appears separate/different.  When you meet someone new they are unique and yet they are YOU.  When life is lived from a place of Oneness we become aware of the bond that connects all of life and things are never the same again!

“What is arising now is not a new belief system, a new religion, spiritual ideology, or mythology. We are coming to the end not only of mythologies but also of ideologies and belief systems.  The change goes deeper than the content of your mind, deeper than your thoughts.  In fact, at the heart of the new consciousness lies the transcendence of thought, a newfound ability of rising above thought, of realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely more vast than thought.” Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth, Page 21-22

This dimension is the Oneness I speak of.  It is something which must be experienced to truly know what it is, but once that connection is made it is a part of you and cannot be lost.  By simply being aware of this Oneness you are shining light on the shadows and allowing yourself to move beyond thought.

On the New Earth each person is aware of what Oneness is and how it relates to them and the rest of existence, which is exactly what is happening now all over the world!  People are awakening to Divine Oneness and embracing the New Earth.

Makeup Application Guide

Makeup is an important part of any woman’s wardrobe; although now-a-days it depends on how you identify and where you live as to how important it is.  Since I grew up in the southern USA, it is very important to me.  Just how much you wear is up to you and will depend on the occasion you are preparing to attend.  For instance, my daily wear consists of moisturizing lotion, mascara and lipstick only.  Sometime I add eye shadow for a bolder look and if it is a formal event I use foundation and the works.

It is important to always clean your face first and then use a good moisturizing lotion to protect your skin.  Foundation can dry out the skin and cause wrinkles over time.  From this point just follow the guide below, leaving out any steps you deem unnecessary.  I rarely use concealer, but this depends on your skin tone.  Practice makes perfect!

1.       CONCEALER

· Purpose: to hide dark shadows and under eye circles.

·Selection: a shade that’s slightly lighter than your skin tone.

·Application: dot in the inner corners of your eyes and gently blend out with a concealer brush or makeup sponge.

NOTE: can be applied a second time over foundation for additional coverage.

2.       FOUNDATION

· Purpose: to provide a smooth base for long-lasting application, add color, even skin tone and hide imperfections.

·Selection:

a. Shade: warm undertones or cool undertones to match your skin. If you have to blend with your neck, it’s too dark!

b. Skin type: normal, oily, dry or sensitive?

·Application: Apply sparingly to forehead, nose, checks and chin using makeup sponge. Blend gently downward to the jawline. Never apply below jawline.  Using the finger tips is acceptable but it means your makeup will not last as long, so if you do not use it much this can get expensive.

NOTE: some foundations change color after application. Wait a few minutes and check color. It should blend so well it’s almost invisible. The new mineral powder foundations blend wonderfully.

3.       POWDER

·Purpose: to “set” makeup, reduce shine and help foundation last longer. Also helps blush apply more smoothly and evenly.

·Selection: match intensity of foundation

· Application:

a. apply after foundation and before blush.

b. as a finishing touch after completion of makeup.

Apply with a puff or loose powder brush. Dust lightly across forehead, down the nose and across the cheeks and chin concentrating on shiny parts of the face.  Use sparingly.

4.        BLUSH

· Purpose: To add color and glow, plus accent bone structure.  Also adds a vertical lift to the face.

· Selection: select to match coloring and skin tone. Drier skins often do better with a cream rather than powder form.

·Application: Apply blush starting at the center of the cheek bone, blending up the cheekbone, diagonally out and up toward the hairline right above the ear.

NOTE: Blush and lip color should be selected from the same color family

5.    EYES

Purpose: To accent the face and make you be noticed.  Eyes are the most important feature on your face in terms of makeup.  Using mascara alone will make a big difference.  Pay attention to the eye brows and make sure they are well groomed and can be seen.

Selection: Choose a color that matches your hair color, unless you desire a dramatic effect.

Application:

  1. Put eyebrow mascara (if needed) on first and go lightly, should blend naturally, while making the brows more noticeable.
  2. Apply eyeliner (if using).  Liquid gives the boldest look, while pencils are easier to use.  Be sure to experiment for best look.
  3. Apply mascara next and use curler.  Choose colors that accent your clothes and hair color.
  4. Apply eye shadow with the darker color on eye lid.  Blending is important.  Putting darker color on outside and a light shade by the nose makes the face look narrower.  Reverse for a wider look.  Depends on your face shape as which technique to use.
  5. Professionals at the makeup counter in dept. stores or specialty stores are good at assisting with color selection and application techniques.
  6. Also look on youtube.com for visual instructions.  The more you see it done the easier will be to develop your own style.

            6.    LIPS

Purpose: To accent the face and enhance your beauty.  Lips are very personal so experiment to find your favorite.

Selection: Choose a color that compliments your eye color and makeup.

Application:

  1. Use a lip liner when using traditional lipsticks and cover the entire lip with lip liner after it is applied along the edge of lips.  This hides the use of lip liner when the lipstick wears off.  For a fuller look, go slightly outside the lip line and accent the area under the nose.
  2. Apply lipstick starting in the center and moving outward in both directions.  Press lips together to blend color.
  3. Lip inks or other lasting lipsticks really do not need lip liner.
  4. Apply traditional lipstick after eating, drink, or kissing.  Will need to be touched up every few hours unless a long lasting version is used.  This is again personal preference.  Have FUN 😉

Equality

Equality is a fairly simple concept and I would like to shed some new light on this topic.  It can apply to just about any subject once it is understood, including marriage, race, color, age, creed, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin/ethnicity or handicap/disability.

What is really at issue here?  Do all humans have equal rights?  Do we really want every human to have equal rights?  How does one decide who has rights and who does not?  At what age does a human have rights?  Do they ever end and did they ever begin?

These are tricky questions and each person will have their own point of view to offer, so as a society what is right, if that is possible?  As you may or may not know nothing is right or wrong lest you make it so.

This blog takes the Spiritual perspective and so I will avoid the dualistic political debates here and point out that Truth lies in Unity Consciousness.  Meaning there is no them, other, opposing view.  Only what you perceive.  New Thought Spirituality, ACIM, the Vedas and others teach that God is all there is, so all is God.  This means there cannot be a duality or the duality is contained within the One.

Using the Yin-Yang symbol we can say God is that which is both inside & outside the circle.  The portion inside is Man or the duality of good/bad, male/female, etc.  The other observation you may have made here is that all is balanced in this symbol and indeed this is the ideal.  However, all is fluid in reality and thus it is constantly shifting, shaping, and forming.

Equality is desirable because this is our concept of Peace, however I will point out that all is balanced right now because all is of the ONE.  The shape, form, and expression is constantly changing; however all elements are present, so all is balanced.  This is the power of Oneness and why this concept has been taught on some level since time began.  We are all ONE, meaning equality is inherint or inalienable! How society chooses to express this equality is in the details and we all know not to sweat the details.

Shake It Off

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up, it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw.

With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake off the dirt and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

         1. Free your heart from hatred

         2. Free your mind from worries

         3. Live simply

         4. Give more

         5. Expect less

         Enjoy Your Week!

         SHAKE IT OFF
