Oneness Ministry

We are One

To Thy Own Self Be True

How does one go about this?  I mean, how does one be true to thy own self?  It really depends on how you view “self”.  The interpretation will be slightly different for each person, so this means trillions of ways!

I will share my viewpoint and you can integrate it into yours.  In the process we both will grow… how is that for divine beauty?   If you have been reading my blog over the years you know that I have a Unity Consciousness point of view, meaning we are all One.  God is all there is!  Once I started looking it showed up everywhere and all doubt was chased away.  The more I questioned the deeper my belief.  I see Oneness everywhere I look these days and the most significant portion of this is I know this means all is Divine!

Yes, this means that thy own self is Divine!  We are all God…Godding 😉  Simply put, we are each doing as we are guided to do as an expression of God (Universal Consciousness, Great Spirit, Allah, or whatever you like to call it).  Some follow the ego mind and this gets them in all sorts of predicaments, while the others are listening to the Divine guidance of Holy Spirit.  It is not hard once you know the difference to choose the Divine.  The still quiet voice, the loving, caring, compassionate guidance is of Divine Spirit.  If you choose to say hurtful words, take harmful action, or even entertain ill thoughts this is ego in action.

The choice is often unconscious, so I invite you to bring the Divine into consciousness!  The mind is under your control and by “your” I mean the Spirits control unless it is not, which means you have not claimed this control.  The ego will take control of your mind and use fear and pain to control you if you allow it, but it has no power unless you fail to claim your God given rights.  In order to make your claim simply state to the Universe and with God as your witness:

I release the past, and see myself in new light, the light of God as an equal to God.  If this is beyond my abilities at this time then I remain open to this possibility and ask that I be given the opportunity for this realization.  I hereby withdraw all power which I have given to other people or to situations which control my experiences.  I am in control of my experiences and I choose Love, Joy, and Peace!  In my sexual relationship with you dearly Beloved (all relationships I have ever experienced) I hereby release and forgive you for the blame which I placed falsely upon you.  I understand this was a mistake and not a sin, so I am simply correcting an error on my part.  The more I practice this and make this a part of my life the deeper will I experience this Truth.  Holy Spirit I ask for your help in making this so, so that I may know myself in my True form.  Help me in forgiving the past and in knowing the essence of my being.  I Love You!

Now that you have released ego mind, being “true to thy own self” is a no brainer!

Honest, Responsible and True

Today’s Transition Blog considers the words Truth, Responsible, and Honest.  Noble words to be sure, but what do they really mean?  How do they fit into your life, or to reverse that, how do you fit into the definition of these words?  Let us look deeper to get a better feel for these words and the importance they play in everyone’s life.

1. Honorable in principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair: an honest person.

2. Showing uprightness and fairness: honest dealings.

3. Gained or obtained fairly: honest wealth.

4. Sincere; frank: an honest face.

5. Genuine or unadulterated: honest commodities.” (

So who embodies these qualities?  Do you?  Every day in everything you do the opportunity to embody these traits exists, so you make this decision, albeit unconsciously most of the time, to be honest or not.  Consider how these actions define you and who they impact the most.  It certainly affects those you are dealing with, but more importantly how does it affect you?   Honesty is essential to self respect and self worth.  Being honorable is an act done for the self and that benefit then flows out to all those involved!

1. Answerable or accountable, as for something within one’s power, control, or management (often followed by to or for): He is responsible to the president for his decisions.

2. Involving accountability or responsibility: a responsible position.

3. Chargeable with being the author, cause, or occasion of something (usually followed by for): Termites were responsible for the damage.

4. Having a capacity for moral decisions and therefore accountable; capable of rational thought or action: The defendant is not responsible for his actions.” (

This is a profound word that touches life everyday in some way.  Look closely at these meanings and consider how they impact your life.  Have you ever attempted to avoid responsibility?  Do you hold yourself accountable for your actions?   Do you realize that you are the author of your life?  Simply knowing this is a step toward responsibility.  We are all capable for rational thought and action, so there is no excuse for denying responsibility!

1. The true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth.

2. Conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement.

3. A verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths.

4. The state or character of being true.

5. Actuality or actual existence.” (

This word is the sum total of all other words.  It is what is left after all else is removed.  This is a very elusive word and experience.  In the world of duality Truth seems to shift constantly so that attaining total Truth is almost impossible.  It is however the goal.  The goal we all aspire to!  It is possible Truth is only found after death, but even this is not Truth.  Death does not exist!  Please understand that most of what you experience in this world is other than Truth, Responsibility, and Honesty!

I aspire to these ideals daily and sometimes I even get close!  It is a constant vigil, one that I accept with pride and joy.  I bless you on your Journey of Love, may you find the Truth, Responsibility and Honesty you seek!

Stop Running

The easiest thing to do when you are faced with something scary is to run away.  Fear is the opposite of love and we always have the choice of experiencing either one or the other like darkness and light.  When you turn on the lights the darkness in the room goes away, it is the same when we love.

According to the ACIM (A Course In Miracles), our greatest fear is ourselves.  Humans are afraid to know the truth about themselves because they fear the horrible things they have been told about whom they are and how horrible they can be.  I mean Humans actually kill one another in sometimes brutal and vicious ways.  Humans kill animals and eat them.  We allow our children to starve to death.  On a more personal level we have all hurt the ones we love in some way either physically or mentally, so we must be horrible creatures!

Are we really that horrible?  Is being a vile person a requirement of humanity?  Hardly!  Please do not buy into the illusion and certainly do not run from your self!  The nature of this reality is that our thoughts manifest in ways we are not aware of and the Divine Truth is hidden behind all the fear, pain, and lack we believe in.  Each of us creates our own reality through our thoughts so what you think about that person staring back at you in the mirror is your “truth”.

It takes courage to look into the mirror and see the Divine Truth…you are looking at God (or your choice of deity).  The road to self love begins with one step and the mirror is a great place to begin!  Now do not get confused here, I am not speaking about loving what you see, that is just a shell and the same goes for everything else in this world.  It is all illusion and we have been born blind!  The Truth is always present and the potential to see it is always available.  You may have had revelations where you actually saw the Truth and those are gifs from angels.

When I look in the mirror I am aware of my feelings.  I do not judge them as good, or bad I simply feel.  It is the feeling that leads you to who you are and seeing the Divine Person/Truth.  Remember you are made in the image of God.

For someone who does not know the Truth, fear often jumps in and this is how addictions are born.  We have a void in our lives and we have no idea how to love that person we see in the mirror, much less out in the world, so we run.  We run from ourselves in a vain attempt to escape.  The pain of the illusion is too great so we find a way to escape and the method of choice these days is chemicals that alter our sense of reality.  Addictions come in many forms but they all have fear at the core.  Addiction simply means that your behavior has become habitual and harmful.  Even though you may realize that this behavior is harmful to both you and others it seems that you cannot stop and it also seems like it relieves the pain.

This is what I call a dream within a dream within a dream!  How many layers of deception does it take for you to feel safe from yourself?  Tomorrow we will continue this look at addictions and I will offer a solution.
