Contrast is what brings Joy into our lives yet we still seek connection or a sense of ourselves in those we meet. What is this “sameness or normality” we are looking for? Why is it that we are repulsed by those individuals who are different than us? When picking friends why is it we choose who we do? These questions are all related and the answer is simple, you may have already guessed it. God seeks to experience self in each expression. Sometimes this is done by experiencing what it is not, and sometimes by being what it is.

In regard to picking friends and being attracted to certain people over others it is a simple Universal Law, The Law of Attraction which states, “Like attracts Like”. This is the same law that created our planet, the galaxy, and all that you know. It is the same law that draws to you everything in your life. You have a vibrational frequency which resonates an energy signature. This energy attracts or repels everything in your life. Thoughts are energy and vibrate just as you do and when certain thoughts or energy vibrations are claimed those things are attracted into your life. That is why I say all thoughts and words are prayers. Focus on what you desire!

Imagine the Big Bang! Millions of particles are expanding outward and those which are alike are drawn together, slowly they form suns, planets and moons. The Universe is still expanding outward and particles are still being drawn together, except now we are conscious of this process. We are the observers who are witnessing our own creation!

Bringing this analogy back to earth, our relationships are no different in that we are attracting and repulsing all the time based on our thoughts, words, and actions which reflect our vibrational frequency. Ever walked into a room where two people have been arguing and they are still mad? This is the energy of repulsion. Or if you are with two people in Love it is so easy to feel the attraction they have for each other. Of course being the one in Love is what we are all seeking where we are drawn to our partner in such a way as Joy flows with every heart beat! Remember like attracts like, so be the person you desire! Yes, that means just what it says; you are attracting people who are like you!

Contrast brings Joy to us and it is sameness or connection we seek so how can you have both? Simply by looking at things with the eyes of your Father or to say that another way, see the Christ in every person you meet! We are all the same in this way. We are each a child of Christ, born of the same star-stuff and yet vibrating with unique energy. When I say Jesus walks beside me take that literally, because each person I meet is the Christ!

To see that spark in another is one of the greatest gifts there is. Next time you feel yourself drawn to another person or thing, it is because they match your energy vibration, or at least compliment you. Understanding the dynamics of energy opens so many doors and simply makes life easier and more enjoyable. The Law of Attraction Exposed

Money is Energy Continued

In continuing the story of money as energy and the created economy consider your own situation. How much energy are you attracting? How much energy do you give away or expend? The system always balances itself! The good news is that the system feeds on itself and grows proportionately. You may have heard the Law of Tenfold Return, if not click here for more.

In reality you are an economy of one multiplied by millions! In essence the world is your creation and therefore is an extension of you. Of course your perspective is that of an individual who is separate from the rest of the world. It is really an ingenious design, although it is NOT divine design; unless it is. You see the ego mind is what creates your reality with all its challenges and gifts. When you ask for help from Holy Spirit, it takes what you have created and makes it whole again. This is called the process of for-give-ness.

An object in motion tends to stay in motion. Meaning that once you make a choice life falls into place to support that choice and if you ever wish to choose it again it is that much easier. A good Samaritan for instance is on that tangent and it gets easier and easier to stay on that tangent. One step in the other direction simply negates the energy created so far. Remember the balance? There is also the concept of “guilty by association” which means the energy is contagious and by hanging out with a certain group your energy will tend in that direction, wealthy, criminal, degenerate, upstanding moral, etc.

You are like a magnet for energy! The energy you put out is drawn back to you and by the Law of Attraction – Like attracts Like. Maybe you enjoy hanging out with those of “like mind”? We all do it is natural to be with those who are like you! This does not necessarily mean in appearance although often that is the case also.

Appearance can be a tricky thing and constantly confuses the average person. How can a grimy Homeless man living on the street win the lottery? (and they have!) Because this is not the energy he is putting out. He is probably helping his fellow man, caring of others and at sometime in the past in a position of at least modest means if not wealthy.

Creating money is easy for those who go against the grain and partake in illegal activities. These pursuits always pay off in karmic ways down the line. Remember what you give you receive, or those who live by the sword die by the sword! Enough said.

Money is a tool and it matters not who uses the tool. In this same way energy is a tool, like fabric it weaves life into a beautiful creation. We are quite deep at the moment and I am not sure you get the meaning of this and I find this could easily fill an entire blog (which it has – Tools of the Mind). I will wrap this up here.

One last word here on free money. We have established that money is energy, so this would mean that energy is free right? In essence energy is free, however in this ego based world there is always a balance so this means nothing is free! You might not pay in cash, but it always costs something, even a smile! Do you know the only thing you have more of when you give it away? LOVE (smiles fall into this category).

Everyone You Meet Is Your Mirror

What does your lifestyle say about you? Look around and see for yourself! Is your car cluttered with “stuff”? What about your desk, bedroom, living room, yard or closet? Is this stuff a sense of identity for you? It is for most people and I question this. Not if it is right or wrong, that is subjective, but what purpose does identifying with works of art or advanced technological devices serve for you?

Have you ever considered why you have to have the latest computer or that cute trinket from your vacation? Everything you do, say, or think defines you. Take a step back and see this. Who are you? Really?

Your environment also defines you and tells you much about the person you are. Is your life about clutter or order, dirty or clean, scarcity or abundance? The cluttered mind is reflected in a cluttered life, dirty thoughts are reflected in a dirty life, and abundant thoughts beget an abundant life. I hope you will take a minute to look at your life and start living with intention and purpose. Make a conscious choice to be one way or the other. Clean your house because that reflects the type of person you are, not because I or anyone else says you should.

Life is a reflection of your thoughts, words and actions. So if you wish to know yourself, just look at your friends, family, job, activities and living space. It can be a sobering event! And it can be inspiring too. Once you start living on purpose, the world becomes your oyster and you are the pearl.

Living Consciously means being aware of the details, appreciating them, but not obsessing on them. It is a fine line, but one that is very rewarding! What is important to you? What is of ultimate significance? What do you need to align with this and be an expression of this in the world? The mirror is your best friend as is pain, the bully across the street, and the accident you had last month.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Have you ever considered why this day of remembrance is important? How about the advocacy work that so many organizations do? Does it work and why does it work? I mean what makes advocacy work! I remember being distressed by the thought of everyone gathering around and sharing victim stories and it was almost like death was a success. And indeed it is a success for ego mind, but that is another story.

Today I would like to shine the light on why it is important to remember events of the past and to honor those who have gone before you. The obvious answer that I have heard many times, “learn from your past or you are doomed to repeat the mistakes”, falls short. The other answer that these individuals are important as human beings and kindred family is indeed one of the reasons, but to me not the most important.

The real gift here is that injustice is brought to light. Awareness is raised in the minds of all people and they see that violence is destructive and unjust. Transgender Day of Remembrance brings our community to the main stream consciousness in a cry for equal rights. It is a statement that we are people too and deserve to be treated as well any other person. The fact that often gets lost in communities is we are all humans and a part of the whole of life; it is not us against them! Let me emphasis this point. It is never about US vs. THEM in any situation. When this perspective is taken it becomes a losing proposition. One if not both parties loose. The Equal Rights movement is about equal rights for everyone. No one person is better than any other or more deserving or less deserving of common basic human needs such as personal security, love, self esteem, personal fulfillment, cultural security, and participation, plus a right to life, liberty, freedom of thought, expression and identity, and equal treatment before the law. Let us focus on the things we all desire.

In the end what makes advocacy work is the Universal Law of Attraction among other laws. What you focus on grows. Or to say that another way, the energy of attention is a funnel that sends this power where ever it is pointed. If you are focusing on the things that are wrong or broken or painful then you get more of them. However if you are focusing on what is working, how systems are supporting you and what you like about a certain person, place or thing then you will get more of that! This seems simplistic I know and there are details if you wish to know more. This works, I am a living testament to it and actually so are you!

Take advantage of this Day of Remembrance to focus on what you loved about that person who has lost or taken their life. Focus on the laws that have been passed recently which raise awareness to what is acceptable and what is not. Share your dream of the world you wish to live in! It is important to be heard, we all deserve this so listen to others and treat them the way you wish to be treated. There are no victims only volunteers, thus I honor all the beautiful people who have volunteered to be symbols of change and to shine the light on a community’s needs.

Thought Power

Have you ever considered the power your thoughts have? You may have heard of The Secret or Law of Attraction which states that like attracts like. Today’s blog is about the power of positive thinking and the safety valve that is built in.

In the movie The Secret they show an elephant sitting on the couch next to an actor who has just wished for an elephant and poof there it is. Our wishes do not manifest this quickly for a reason! You may not want everything you wish for! “Success is getting what you want. Happiness is in wanting what you get.” Dale Carnegie

The trick to this process is being aware of what you wish for! Make note of it, and when you get it, Celebrate it! Now this can be as simple as wishing for a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. When you get it – Celebrate it! Feel the joy that comes with success, even if you went to the freezer and served it yourself (sure way of getting things). Once you get this down, move on to bigger and better things.

This techniques works on any aspect of your life, take your health for instance. You imagine that a low fat, non-dairy Yogurt is good for you and you even imagine yourself smiling and happy after eating it. Take a mental inventory here, you can remember wishing for this and when you do enjoy it, feel this success deep within your soul!

It matters not what you choose to do this with, because every thought is a prayer. Also, as stated in the A Course in Miracles, there is no order of difficulty in miracles. This means that if you see yourself happy, healthy and free of any dis-ease, then that is what you will experience, eventually, even if you have just been given a terminal prognosis with 3 months to live by your doctor. It does take time in this ego world, however for those who have moved beyond the ego like Jesus, the window of time is almost immediate. (STOP – Yes, you are like Jesus)

Think about this for a minute. How does Jesus do the things he did such as walk on water, turn water into wine, raise the dead, etc.? He wishes it so and knows in his mind that it is so. He has no doubts, he feels the Truth and it is so. I know this is how it works because I have experienced it! Not that I have walked on water or such as that, but I am working within my beliefs and making great strides!

I am healthy, happy, and whole, because this is my wish. I choose it! I have also chosen to express my feminine nature as this feels more natural to me, and it is so! There are pictures on the website below if you need proof. I also had the experience of imagining myself taking a medicine, without actually taking it, and it works!

I encourage you to experiment with this and take small steps while remaining aware and awake. Throwing away all your medicinces is not a good choice, but you can be free of them all when you take small steps. Get professional assistance if you desire, just know that anyone can do this. Notice your successes and ReJoice!!!

The Law of Vibration

This is an elemental and immutable Universal Law, meaning that it is fixed and will not change. The process of vibration is fundamental to everything in the Universe. Transition is the process of shifting this vibrational frequency on a fundamental and permanent level. Some change is temporary and other changes are permanent, so be aware how this Law works so that you may fully harness its benefits.

“The Law of Vibration: “Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates”. The third and last of the immutable Universal Laws, tells us that “the whole universe is but a vibration”. Science has confirmed that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies. The axiom that “like energy attracts like energy”, upon which the Law of Attraction is based, has its foundation in this Law. Everything that we experience with our five physical senses is conveyed through vibrations. The same applies to the mental realm. Your thoughts are vibrations. All your emotions are vibrations where “unconditional love” is the highest and most subtle of the emotional vibrations and “hate” is the densest and most base. You can learn to control your mental vibrations at will. This is true thought power.” (Kotsos 2011)

There are some wonderful videos online that go into the specifics of energy or vibrational frequency, although most are over simplifications. This is a complex process that exists at many levels from quarks to Universes. Movement is our nature, so understand this and work with it. The density of the object is relative to the vibrational frequency of the molecules within the object. The slower the vibration the more dense it is. Energy is neither created nor destroyed it merely changes form. The process of forming diamonds from coal takes immense pressure and heat (two kinds of energy) combined to shift the vibrational frequency of the coal to that of a diamond. Man has figured out how to do this by external means using plenty of energy. I believe that humans are also changing due to cosmic factors, the energy contained in thought and environmental energies.

Thought has energy that vibrates and when this vibration combines with the molecules of our body shifts occur. This is how thoughts heal and thoughts change our appearance. Aging for instance is a Universal Conscious thought, so everyone on earth ages. In order to forgo aging one must vibrate above the frequency of this Universal Consciousness. Spiritual Masters can do this, and many have done so. You can do this also. Our very physical structure can be changed by aligning our bodily vibration with that which we desire. You may have heard the saying, “If you wish to be a millionaire then think like one”. The same applies to whatever it is you desire; Be It. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the Peace you desire in the world”.

Modeling Your Environment

Our thoughts are more powerful than we know and one of the principles which can assist us on our transition is “guilty by association”. When you are aware of this principle you can use it to your advantage instead of suffering its consequences.

This principle works by proximity, be it thought or physical location. Whomever or whatever we associate with we become like. This is why children often go into the professions their parents where in. Growing up with physician parents or farmer parents greatly increases the likelihood of the child going into a similar field. In fact I believe this is one reason why we chose the parents that we did. Our birth families expose us to the elements that we need to grow, and it matters not if that environment is harsh or served with a silver spoon. All situations have advantages and disadvantages.

We learn from our surroundings and the behavior of those we spend time with. This learning is unintentional most of the time, however when used constructively it can be very powerful. The concept of apprenticeship and internship works this way, as does immersion learning. When we wish to learn something new the best way is to find a teacher who can show you the “ropes”. Volunteer if you have to, but get into the environment in which you would like to be working or be like. If you desire to be a millionaire then hang out with them! The same goes for drug dealers or prostitution, if you are hanging with those types you will be like those types. You may have heard the saying “if you want to know who you are, simply look at your friends”.

This same principle will benefit a transsexual person transitioning from male to female. If you desire to be the woman you feel yourself to be, hang out with women. Study their behavior and mannerisms so that you can immolate them. How do they speak, walk, laugh, flirt, sit, interact with each other, interact with the opposite sex? Children do this instinctively from birth, however a transsexual has been programmed in the opposite and must unlearn the rearing lessons on gender behavior and learn the new behavior. Basically the MtoF releases their male persona (no longer identifies with it) and then allows the female persona to emerge (identifying as woman). Some will have picked up pieces along the way because of innate feelings guiding them. It really depends on how strict the environment was in which they were raised.

For those who desire to start their own business, finding others who are in that business to associate with will make their likelihood of success so much greater. Or if you are quitting smoking then you will want to stay away from other smokers and places that are associated with smoking like the bar or buddies who smoke.

You may remember stories of gangs like “West Side Story” or “Boyz in da Hood” and if you hang out with a particular group then you are guilty by association! Be careful the groups you hang out with and make sure you wish to be like them. This goes in every situation whether it is on the playground, at church or at work. I suggest hanging with people you want to be like, so if you desire to be successful then hang with successful people. If you like art then hang out with artists, take classes in art, collect art, go to art parties. This process will be fun when you are using it consciously.

I Thought So

Many in society would have you believe that a certain product is either good or bad for you, so I have to ask you is this true? Do objects control your life? Meaning are there harmful and safe items your life depends on? These are deep spiritually philosophical questions that will in fact greatly influence your life.

It is time to shine the light! This is all a game, and right now we call it the game of life. So I would like to make it clear that the game is neither right or wrong, or even win/lose. It is how you feel about your life. Simple huh? Let’s look a little closer though so you know what I am talking about.

What we eat; food, dietary supplements, medicines, and drinks seem to be a big part of our lives, especially in American culture. Your Mom gives you a glass of orange juice and tells you it is good for you, so you drink it down and it tastes great! You feel, full, relaxed, energized and satisfied. So was the drink “good for you”? Yes, the drink is good for you because the drink made you feel better. If you drank 5 gallons of OJ this might be different.

You see a commercial on TV for a super diet aid that will have you lose weight in one month, the price is right and so you buy the product. What you have just done is tell the Universe that you think you are fat and need to lose weight. Ok, that established, what next? The product arrives and you start taking it, just as the instructions tell you to. A month goes by and you have lost 4 pounds. Did the product work? How much weight did you want to lose? Did you need the supplement to do so? How do you feel now?

You can lose 10 pounds just by taking a laxative and not eating for a few days, however the point is how you feel about it is what makes the difference. The choice is yours! Some supplements do help you feel better, but why? Is it because they are changing your body? Or is it because your mind is making it so? The body always changes due to a thought, so the mind is what does the deed. How you think about what you put into your body then facilitates the action of that product.

High fructose corn syrup is bad for me you think as you drink a soda, why do I drink this stuff? Each thought is a self fulfilling prophecy dear readers! Salads are really good for me and I really enjoy eating them…a smile comes on your face…a self fulfilling prophecy! It works both ways and it works on about anything. Some thoughts are group thoughts or mass consciousness so it is not only “you” that influence your thoughts. Please don’t use this as an excuse to blame others however. It is the law of attraction, what you think about most of the time becomes your reality! Continued tomorrow…

Safety and the Law of Attraction

Safety is a feeling we have when we know that our bodies are not in danger. A few key points here are that safety is a perception accompanied with a feeling and it concerns our physical bodies. Whether you feel safe or not has nothing to do with reality and everything to do with how you perceive reality! This is very important because if we look at the physical evidence such as stats and figures in a logical way the chance of actually being harmed are quite low when compared to actual occurrences. Out of 7,621 incidents reported in 2007 only 16.6% or 1,265 were sexually oriented. Let’s look deeper at those numbers, The USA population is an estimated 308, 751, 584 now we will assume the GLBT population to be approx. 20% of that or 61,750,316.8. Now that is 1,265 out of 61,750,316 or 2 millionths of a % chance of being a statistic!! Our minds play all sorts of tricks on us and frankly are not to be trusted.

The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like” and to fully understand this we need to think of like energies, not necessarily things that appear similar. Everything is energy and each person has an energy field that surrounds them. The point is that if we feel safe then we exude that energy and attract that reality to us, thus we experience being safe. One the other hand if we are scared for any reason, founded or unfounded, we are attracting the very danger we wish to avoid. So what makes us feel scared or threatened?

Usually it involves the actions of another human being and can take forms, such as verbal abuse, aggressive physical behavior and actual attack. However it can also be our imaginations, a scary movie, or a story from a well meaning friend. A few things to keep in mind are, if you react with fear then you are feeding the flame, what you resist persists, and resistance is futile and while these may be cliché they are true. The question now rests on what can we do to feel safe at all times and if fear creeps in how can we release it?

There are several things we can do to avoid this feeling of fear. First and foremost is to focus on Peace. The more we focus on peace the more we attract it, since what you focus on grows. Notice how often you feel safe. Do you feel safe right now? How about this morning? Or last night? Peace is always present! Only our awareness shifts! More tomorrow…. 😉 Sequoia Elisabeth

Beyond Law of Attraction

These questions are all related and the answer is simple, you may have already guessed it.

In regard to picking friends and being attracted to certain people over others it is a simple Law of the Universe, “Like attracts Like”. This is the same law that created our planet and all others, it is the same law that draws to you everything in your life. Your vibrational frequency is resonating an energy signature and this energy attracts or repels everything in your life. Thoughts are energy and vibrate just as you do and when we choose certain thoughts or energy vibrations we will attract those things into our lives. That is why I say all thoughts and words are prayers. Focus on what you desire!

Row, Row, Row your Boat…

Transition is a way of life for many of us. We get so used to change that without it we are lost. I challenge you to do nothing today! The very statement is an oxymoron. The point is that we cannot live in this world without change. We are constantly shifting from one state to another like the ebb and flow of the tide. The waves of thought never cease, ever so gently lapping at the shores of our mind. How about sitting on the bluff above the shore today and simply observe? (of course I mean this figuratively) Make no judgments, make no decisions, and make no resistance. Simply enjoy this moment that feels eternal (It is). What do you see? What do you feel? That is OK. Everything is OK, no matter what thoughts flow through your psyche today.

Each event that occurs in our lives simply leads to a better one. After “doing nothing” for as long as you can, start choosing your thoughts as they float by like yellow rubber ducky’s on a stream…. Pick one up and see if you like it. Don’t like it simply put it back in the stream! Life really is that simple. If it is not, then it can be! Thoughts are where our lives begin to materialize, but it is the feelings that give them the fuel to manifest. Choose a thought, talk about it, feel it as if it were so and be patient. The Law of Attraction states that if this thought synchronizes with your beliefs then you will physically experience it.

If you would like to know where you stand then simply look around. This is your creation. Since change is the way of life, just wait a few minutes it will change! So appreciate it while you can and if you are really happy with a particular creation, then choose it again. Gratitude is the gravy that makes our lives worth living.
