We are One

Paradigm

Every story has its own parameters within the larger paradigm. The story practically writes itself when staying within these parameters. The plots will change depending on the circumstances of the character and the choices they make. Choice is the driver behind the plot line. Say the character makes the choice to do XYZ. This will drive the plot in that direction within the parameters of the story, keeping of course, within the paradigm.

We are all playing out a story. Our lives are our story. This means we each operate within certain parameters within a paradigm. Early on our choices are bound to our parents or guardians. Once we become adult and get out on our own, the story of our lives diverges based on the choices we make. For instance, say a person decides to go into the medical field as a physician. The medical industrial complex comes with its own parameters. The many hoops must be jumped through to reach the goal and all along the journey the story further defines itself by the choices made. The student becomes the intern, becomes the physician, becomes the specialist in the chosen field, becomes the servant to public or private industry, etc. The choices made by the person are not really choices as we are made to believe. The choices are dictated by the story within the parameters of the paradigm.

It all comes down to a life lived within the parameters of the paradigm. So, the person has already made its choices before it is even born. The very act of birth sets the paradigm. The person’s identity and path are set at this point of birth. A family has been chosen and thus the paradigm. We like to think we can change our path. Society claims change is the rule, not the exception. In fact, it is just the opposite. Even this change is within the paradigm of the individual. The greatest show on earth! Your Life!

Being the Observer

The best advice I ever heard was to become the observer, to actually listen to what I say and observe my actions, then ask why.  Is this the person I desire to be?  This may be who I am now, but do I really wish to be this person?  Discovering who you are is a constant evolution, because you are constantly changing.  As you expand there is a give and take or an ebb and flow to the process.  The more you learn and discover about life in general and about how this relates to you the more you expand, the more you become more!

Think about this carefully.  Who am I?  Who are you in relation to who I am?  You do know this is all relative? Don’t you?  You do realize everything is connected in some way? Once you realize there is no separation; only the illusion of separation, your world changes for the better.  If this is still not apparent right now this is OK.  Keep asking questions and it will come to you.

On to some more practical applications and exercises you can use right now to facilitate your growth and expansion.  First of all open up.  Open your mind, open your heart, open your eyes and see, feel, and think with no limits (or at least let the limits go as you can, it is a process after all).  Listen to the words you use and notice how they make you feel, also notice how they make others feel, so if both of you are not feeling good then perhaps you could choose different words to express yourself.  In expressing yourself how does this affect the world around you?  Is it positive or negative, constructive or destructive?  Not to say this is good or bad, don’t fall for this trap.  Things are how they are, and you are the way you are, no good or bad to it, however you do have a choice in the matter.  Question everything, especially your motive for being the way you are.  Avoid judgment here.  Remember, we all desire Love, this is who we are and sometimes the loving thing to do is destructive or negative depending on the situation.  In order for the old to be replaced it must be destroyed first.  To build a new building the old one is removed to clear the way for the new one.  As humans we can only see a small fraction of the picture or situation so each choice we make is the best we can do given the information we have at the time.

Moving on, consider having a friend video you during an activity or perhaps you could set up a camera in your home to video the daily goings on, later reviewing the tape is incredibly insightful.  Be compassionate with yourself and seek only to understand who you are and decide if this is who you desire to be.  Recording your voice and word choice is also very insightful.  The language you use is very powerful or destructive depending on your word choice.  Curse words for instance are weak and destructive to the person using them, not necessarily to the one hearing them.  The person hearing these words can decide in advance to forgive the user and thus discharge any negative energy the words carry.  It is like Hate is a poison for the person hating, not the target of the hate.  Negative emotions are necessary at times, but must be used carefully to balance energy or to diffuse a situation, never for attacking.  Lashing out is a re-action not a deliberate action taken for a specific purpose.  Think before you act, wait a day and then respond.  Negative emotion can be transformed to the positive when you have this intention.

Another practice which is ingrained in the mass psyche is the use of the word “try or trying”.  To try is to fail.  The word implies doubt and this in itself is disempowering.  State your intentions and then proceed with them.  “Trying” is a word we use to protect our self from being “wrong or failing” and in the process it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.  Perhaps you can say I attempted XYZ but it did not work out that way.  I will make another attempt.  Or I will succeed eventually.  There is nothing wrong with failing; it always leads to success as long as you keep at it.  The error lies in the need to be right!

Remember to always question reality and your place in it, while being forgiving and loving to both yourself and others.  If you wish to learn more about word usage, I suggest doing your own research and testing your findings.  Learning is doing!  The website below as well as the free eBooks are another great source of musings.   Blessings on your Journey of Love ♥

Pain is your Friend

Pain is your friend

Pain guides you and informs you of danger

All Pain is temporary

The system has a built in safety and if too much pain is received it will reboot so to speak.  The body/mind passes out and the system starts again.  No one ever died from pain.

Chronic pain is a malfunction of the system, so look for its source within and change your mind about this pain.  The mental or emotional body is most often the source.  Look here first.  Forgive the thought and replace it with one of health and vitality.

Working through chronic pain takes patience and courage.  Fear fuels pain so fear not, all pain is temporary.  Suffering is not necessary.  Stay positive and move forward by focusing on the Truth, you are healthy and perfect just as you were created.  Nothing is wrong with you.  See the perfection which has become hidden behind this pain.  It is just like turning a light on in a room, the darkness (pain) must leave.

Sacrifice is a dangerous tool, so only use it when you understand how it works.  Used improperly the pain will get out of control and become chronic.

Change can be painful, but does not have to be.  This pain is temporary as things change from one plateau/level/state to another.  No pain, no gain is a MYTH.  The Truth is gain is inevitable and the pain comes from forcing the change.  Resistance is futile.

As you grow your relationship with pain will deepen and you will know when to stop what you are doing and when to push through it.  Pain is a result of resistance so if you feel pain, ask yourself what you are resisting.  What change do you fear?  Many people fear being strong and powerful because they have seen the effect this can have on others.  Forgive the past and trust change to take you where you desire to be.  Be the Change!

Mastering the tools for living is just one reason we are born into a body, however it is an important one.  Pain is one of these tools.  Remember that tools are neutral and cannot harm you.  It is how you use the tool that can be dangerous and just like a hammer it can be used to create wonders or to tear them down.

All Change Is For Your Own Good

The following blog is shared from one of my favorite authors and offers you a chance to “Change your idea about “change””.  We are constantly barraged by offers to change, how to change, change made easy, etc. etc. so dispense with all the babble and get to the soul of the issue, you already have all you need!

Neale Donald Walsch, Saturday, 25 September, 2010

I was re-reading When Everything Changes, Change Everything the other day and I was deeply impressed again (as I was the first time around) with its statement that there are two sentences that can change your entire life. These are two sentences that you will want to remember verbatim. I mean, really remember. As in, never forget. As in, tattooed on your left wrist, written in soap on your bathroom mirror, or magnetized to your refrigerator door.

These two utterances are paradigm-shifting and life changing. I call them…

1. The Life-Altering Question

2. The Answer to Everything

The Life-Altering Question is:

Is It Possible That The Reality I Am Experiencing Is Not Real?

It is the soul that encourages this question.

And then there is The Answer to Everything. What I am about to tell you can make it possible for you to never have a negative experience of change again. This is the final piece of the puzzle. This is the lost key, the unknown combination, the secret of secrets.

Here it is…

All Change Is For The Better.
There Is No Such Thing As Change For The Worse.

What I have just told you changes everything. No other piece of information is needed, no other data is required. The mind is now empowered to come to a whole new set of conclusions about Life.

All that we need to do to deal with unexpected, unwanted change in our life is…

Change our idea about Change Itself

We have been seeing change as a disruption, as a break in the flow, as a shift in direction, as an alteration in the condition or circumstance of our lives. Especially with regard to what we view as unwelcome change, this has been our truth. From this truth has emerged our thought, which has created our emotion, which has produced our experience, which has eventuated our reality.

I want you to think about what I just said. An event is what brings about our reality. Our reality is, in the literal sense, eventuated.

This is true until we are out of our mind. When we leave the mind and enter the realm of the soul, then it is no longer events that bring about our reality, but pure awareness.

From awareness emerges Actual Truth, while from events emerges, at best, Apparent Truth and, more usually, Imagined Truth. Thus, from events we travel into a Distorted Reality, while from awareness we move at last into the Ultimate Reality.

And what is it of which we become aware, that produces such a quantum shift in our overall experience? We become aware of the Actual Truth about Change Itself. We see that change is not a DISruption, but an Eruption. It is life erupting into fuller bloom. We see that change is not a break in the flow, it IS the flow. We see that change is not a shift in direction, it is the direction itself in which all life moves. We see that change is not an alteration in the condition and circumstance of our lives, it IS the condition and circumstance of our lives.

In our expanded awareness we observe that without change, life itself would not be, for life is movement, and movement is change, by definition.

The question is not, therefore, whether life will contain change, but what kind of change life will contain?

And the answer to that question depends upon how (and whether) you utilize your Mind and your Soul, in collaboration.

The soul is energy. It is the energy of life itself, animating life itself. Life energizes and animates life itself through the process of Life Itself. It is a self-feeding, self-sustaining system.

Those last few words are vitally important to remember. Life is a self-sustaining system. It never ends, but sustains itself eternally. How? By adapting. Why? So that it can remain forever functional. When it can no longer function in a particular way, it adapts. By its adaptation does it render itself sustainable.

Life is making its adaptations in every moment. It is always changing. The question is not whether life is always changing, but why? Life is always changing in order to remain always sustainable. Thus, every change that ever occurs is change for the better.

This new idea about change that I’m inviting you to embrace, when put on a more personal level, reads like this: All change is for your own good.

Most of us experience this-after the fact.

Most of us have experienced events which we have called, when they were happening, the worst moments of our lives, only to find, as time went by, that what occurred was one of the best things that ever happened to us.

The fact is that this is true of everything that has ever happened to us, but we do not know this, we cannot accept this, because some things have turned out for the worst-according to our definition. Yet our definition is warped, constrained as it is by the Mechanics of the Mind, and their inherent limitations.

The mind may very well know all about what has gone before, but it does not know why. The mind may very well hold all of life’s Past Data, but it does not hold all of life’s information (which is another thing altogether). The mind may very well contain knowledge, but it does not contain wisdom.

Wisdom lies outside the mind. Wisdom resides within the soul.

That is why we need to hold both handles of this magnificent tool of creation that I shall now call by its proper name: YOU.

Let me make something very clear. “Facts” and “awareness” are not the same thing. We can know all the facts about gravity, but if we do not have an awareness of why gravity works, we know nothing. We can know all the facts about electricity, and we can even use electricity, but if we have no awareness of what electricity is and of why it works, we know nothing. We can know all the facts about light, and we can even use light, but if we have no awareness of what light is and of why it works, we know nothing.

Likewise, we can know all the facts about change, but if we have no awareness of what change is and of why it occurs, we know nothing.

For instance, we may not know that…

Nothing changes for the worse. Everything only changes for the better.”  Read more in the book, When Everything Changes, Change Everything-a book than can truly change your life.

Shared with Love and a prayerful intention to change for the Better!

Coping with Constant Change

The only constant in the Universe is Change!  It is about time you learn to cope with it, and the first step is understanding what change is and how it serves you.  Unrealistic expectations are the root of disharmony.  To expect anything to stay the same is resisting the very flow of life.  Even rocks change!

In order to perceive change, time has to exist and a measurement must be made at two different points in time.  Since the very molecules that make up matter are constantly moving,… change must occur.  Change is observed by measuring these differences over time.

What most people do not understand is that the changes are not out there, but within your own mind.  Each person experiences these changes differently because we each have different points of view and perspective attained over a lifetime of both direct and indirect learning.  The Heisenberg principle states that the simple act of observing, changes the results because the observer becomes a part of the outcome.  Once the mind has new data to consider it is then integrated into the outcome.   Of course you do realize there is but One mind, right?   The observer becomes the observed.  The question then becomes, “how does this serve you?”

Change is good because it is a reflection of your thoughts and when you focus on your dreams and desires they are created!  The catch here is if you are focused on what you do not want or are afraid of then this very focus gives this circumstance energy to manifest.  The feared or undesired does not always occur though, because your thoughts are not the only ones affecting life.

The forces for good in the Universe are often more powerful than most give them credit for.  It is arrogant to assume you know what is best for you or anyone else.  Instead try giving your desires, wants, and needs over to a Higher Power.  In effect this is allowing your Spiritual self or Oversoul to guide the way.  It is best to go with the flow!

The best way to cope with change is to flow with it while looking for the good that exists everywhere in each situation.  Expect things to work out in your favor and even if it does not, look for the good that exists in all things, events, or circumstances.

Expectations are like a flashlight, they focus energy on a certain person, event, or circumstance, so use this tool wisely.  Knowing your desired outcome greatly increases the likelihood of a favorable result.  Always expect the best, but be prepared for whatever happens knowing that goodness is there in every case.

Be The Change

What is this thing called transition and why do I care?  The basic term is fairly simple and broad in meaning.  It simply means a change from one state of being to another.  The key word here is being.  This is a state of being not doing.  Doing is not involved in transition.  There is nothing you can “do” to transition.  As you be that which you are, that which you are reveals itself.

Once you think about this for a few minutes you will realize the profoundness of this statement.  I will repeat it so you can get your head around this, there is nothing you can “do” to transition!  It matters not what type of transition you are experiencing either.  The transition can be gender related, work related, life style related or whatever.  Transition is about being, not doing.   This can appear to be shifting, and you may have different experiences and points of view, but your essence does not change.

Mahatma Gandhi is quoted as saying, “Be the change you desire to see in the world”.  So what does this mean?  It means that your state of being is a product of your desires.  If you are being a woman then you are one and what you “do” follows this.   If you move to a new home far away does this change your state of being?  If you wear the clothes of the opposite sex does this change who you are being?

What I am saying here is transition involves a lot more than just changing your behavior, location or circumstances.  Transition is a change in being-ness at the very core of who you are.  As an example the transgender community often talks about all the physical changes involved, but rarely do they discuss the deep inner changes required to fully transition.  Getting SRS or Breast augmentation does not change who you are or who you are being!

Cis-gender women and men rarely even consider their gender, because it is a perfectly natural state of being to them.  To a transgender person however their state of being seems off and they desire to change or transition to a state that is harmonious.  In order to fully transition then a person must change from one state of being to another.

Gender Transition is more than changing appearances; it is an awareness of the inner self and then simply being it.  The exterior conforms to the state of being.  This comes back to what we discussed earlier, As above so below. (see last blog)  The physical, mental, and spiritual are connected and as one changes the others follow.  This happens in the order of Spiritual, Mental and then Physical.  This means that it is not a conscious choice to change genders, but it is a Spiritual one!

Integration Is Key

Imagine the front of a train falling apart literally and the back of the train is reassembled shiny and new.  This is precisely the world we are living in today!  As our world falls apart we are instantly recreating it all in one swift motion.  This is not happening without warning though and the more fore thought we put into this creation the happier we will be with the results.

Integration is the organization of constituent elements into a coordinated, harmonious whole.  It is not like this era has come as a big surprise.  It has been predicted by many civilizations for thousands of years.  And now we are in the midst of a transformation!  As each element comes apart it is coordinated back into a harmonious whole.  The end result is different and so much better than what existed before.

The difficult part is this is happening on a fundamental level all the way down to sub-atomic particles, it affects every aspect of our lives including our physical bodies, social systems, thought processes, and the matrix within which we live.  The shifts are occurring right in front of our eyes, so we have the choice to be upset or go with the flow.  Frankly, I see no reason to be upset because the change is all for the better, so row, row, row your boat and let’s get on with this.

The integration of which I speak is the process of accepting that things are changing and to focus on just how you desire that to occur.  Not for your personal gain, but for societies advancement.  As society grows so will you and each person on earth will benefit from the transformation currently underway.  You are providing energy toward this evolution, unless you are resisting in which case you will be destroyed in the process.  Remember the train that is falling apart.  This is you and there is no way to put it back together the same way it was.  Accept this and visualize your ideal world.  Give your fuel to a positive dynamic for change.  This is what John Lennon did when he wrote the song Imagine

A Path To Change

Transition is not only for us as humans; the entire Earth Mother is transitioning and this is connected with the Galaxy and Universe as well.  The timing right now is perfect for you to step up and embrace your birth heritage.  Many people have been hiding behind personas they believe serve them and for many years they have.  The time has come for everyone to let go of the old paradigms of thinking, analyzing, and intellectualizing every little decision.

The time has come for everyone to live from the heart.  The heart center is the home of your connection to soul.  Your authentic self resides here and is asking to be heard.  Many people think that wisdom is of the brain and that the most important organ of the human body is the brain.  This has been the bases of life here on earth for the past 2000+ years and our Mother Earth is ready to change.  We have accomplished much in the past and technology is an amazing tool.  Let us use this tool to connect our hearts!  As awareness grows and the shift in Mother Earth occurs we can each play our part in assisting the birth of a New Earth.

Divine Feminine energy is taking control of the situation here on earth.  In order to move ahead we must each accept the responsibility to live an authentic life that stems from our Heart center.  If this means living your life as a gender variant or sexually diverse being then so be it.  If this means unleashing your creative side and following your dreams, now is the time.  Deep within you is a well of Love and all you need do is break it open and allow it to flow.  Sometimes we need help with this and I offer this quote as explanation.

People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.
A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.
A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master…
~ Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love)

So where does this spiritual master reside?  Within the soul!

The next time you get into place of confusion or where you need to make a major decision get in a quite spot, sit still and allow your heart to speak to you.  For more on meditation click here.  Imagine a green flame burning brightly in your heart and focus on that.  Relax and focus on the flame.   With practice you can do this in a moment’s notice and maintain this connection all the time.  I believe the urgency for all humans to learn and practice this is great and growing!

Another meditation that works well for transgender individuals is to visualize two flames, one pink and one blue.  As you relax allow the images to merge into one purple flame.  Feel the energy as you do this and focus on the heart, right in the middle of your chest between the breasts.  This is not your physical heart but your spiritual heart and it is dead center in your body.  Pay attention, it has a message of Love for you!

The Law of Vibration

This is an elemental and immutable Universal Law, meaning that it is fixed and will not change.  The process of vibration is fundamental to everything in the Universe.  Transition is the process of shifting this vibrational frequency on a fundamental and permanent level.  Some change is temporary and other changes are permanent, so be aware how this Law works so that you may fully harness its benefits.

“The Law of Vibration: “Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates”. The third and last of the immutable Universal Laws, tells us that “the whole universe is but a vibration”. Science has confirmed that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies. The axiom that “like energy attracts like energy”, upon which the Law of Attraction is based, has its foundation in this Law. Everything that we experience with our five physical senses is conveyed through vibrations. The same applies to the mental realm. Your thoughts are vibrations. All your emotions are vibrations where “unconditional love” is the highest and most subtle of the emotional vibrations and “hate” is the densest and most base. You can learn to control your mental vibrations at will. This is true thought power.” (Kotsos 2011)

There are some wonderful videos online that go into the specifics of energy or vibrational frequency, although most are over simplifications.  This is a complex process that exists at many levels from quarks to Universes.  Movement is our nature, so understand this and work with it.  The density of the object is relative to the vibrational frequency of the molecules within the object.  The slower the vibration the more dense it is.  Energy is neither created nor destroyed it merely changes form.  The process of forming diamonds from coal takes immense pressure and heat (two kinds of energy) combined to shift the vibrational frequency of the coal to that of a diamond.  Man has figured out how to do this by external means using plenty of energy.  I believe that humans are also changing due to cosmic factors, the energy contained in thought and environmental energies.

Thought has energy that vibrates and when this vibration combines with the molecules of our body shifts occur.  This is how thoughts heal and thoughts change our appearance.  Aging for instance is a Universal Conscious thought, so everyone on earth ages.  In order to forgo aging one must vibrate above the frequency of this Universal Consciousness.  Spiritual Masters can do this, and many have done so.  You can do this also.  Our very physical structure can be changed by aligning our bodily vibration with that which we desire.  You may have heard the saying, “If you wish to be a millionaire then think like one”.  The same applies to whatever it is you desire; Be It.  In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the Peace you desire in the world”.

Divine Feminine Returns

Divine Feminine is resurging in both our individual lives as well as the collective.  If you look around you will see the breaking down of many masculine and male dominated systems.  The Dali Lama is quoted as saying that “the western woman will be our saviors”.  Why is that and what is going on in the world to warrant a savior?

The last 4000 years for the most part have been an adventure of masculine energy guiding our path and forging most cultures of the world, however the past 300 years or more the pendulum has reversed its swing in the other direction.  Divine Feminine is arising to balance the masculine and to bring peace to our planet once again.  Many world leaders are seeing this and it has been forecast by the Maya, the Hopi and many other societies of the past.  This is the age of Aquarius, the birth of 1000 years of peace!

Embracing Divine Feminine will lead you where you need to be.  We as a collective society must let go of the old masculine ways and embrace the healing, nurturing ways of Divine Feminine.  The world is on the verge of collapse and many changes are occurring daily as the old regime is crumbling.  This is the perfect opportunity to change the world, to rebuild it with Loving and caring femininity.  It is time to step into a passive role and allowing posture so that Mother Earth may heal.  Let’s take a step back from all the activity and masculine forces, take a deep breath and allow balance to return here on Earth!  You are the savior of your life regardless of whether you are male, female both or neither.  Consciousness is aware that it is aware and a shift is occuring as you read this.  Just as the poles of the earth are shifting from north to south so is the energy shifting from masculine to feminine.  It is important in all this change to stay focused on what is important to you, to allow the inner healing of your heart and hold a vision for the life you would like to live.  The next few blogs will be focusing on a vision of the future, so stay tuned and please share your ideas.

Isolation of Choice

Transition is all about choice and the effects of the decisions we make along the road.  As we navigate the many options available to us we make the best decision we can with the information available to us at the time.

You may have heard the expression, “hindsight is 20/20”.  The reason for this is simple.  Looking back you have more information available so you can make a better decision.  Knowing this, it makes no sense to beat yourself up for missed opportunities or decisions that did not work out.  Look around and see where you stand and move from here.  Focus on your desires and be consistent.

This does not mean that desires will not change and that once you get to a location that you may decide to move on or go back.  Nothing is ever in vain.  Nor is anything lost in the process of pursuing your dreams.  Even if you fail, you have succeeded in moving closer and had experiences that show you where not to go, so be grateful for what you have!  Always and all ways be grateful for what you have in any given moment.  Yes, all moments are gifts!  They are gifts from you to you.

To those who are aware in any situation, condition or place has a gift waiting there to be discovered.  Winning the lottery may seem like a wonderful gift but can be a disaster if mismanaged.  The same goes for a seeming disaster like the death of a child or the murder of your partner.  In the midst of the situation it is not always easy to see the light (the gift).  This is where friends and family come in.

Transitions are always a big deal and facing something like this alone is simply a formula for failure.  The isolated mind turns in on itself and life gets distorted, things seem worse than they are or perhaps they seem better than they really are.  The only way to get a clear picture of where you stand is to get feedback from those who care.

This can mean going to the doctor or therapist, talking to your closest friend, or confiding in your immediate family.  I am not saying you look to others for approval, but only for other opinions or view points.  If a person has a long history of shooting your ideas down and telling you how much you mess up, it is not a good idea to confide in this person.  Don’t laugh!  People do it all the time.  The best favor you can do for a friend is to give them an honest objective opinion from your point of view.  It is up to the person asking to take the news maturely and put the information to good use.

The Essence of Transition

So what is transition really?  Ok, so it is a change, but what does that mean?  Change is the most constant force in the Universe!  By transition do we mean a flower blooming?  Or a child growing to an adult?  Not really, although those can be thought of as transitions.  Let’s go deeper and be a bit more specific.  The transition I am speaking of today is gender.

In one way the transition is not about change at all, but about awareness.  Just being aware of what already is.  Our core person does not change; it is who we are.  Like peeling the layers of an onion the transition journey is about looking deeper within and throwing away the false self.  We have many false identities not just one.  Getting caught up in this outer world is so easy with all the roles we have thrust upon us.

“Real” gender transition is about removing the false persona, or male identity (for MtoF) which we created to “fit” into the world based on the existing rules.  Removing the veil and allowing our authentic self to emerge is what the journey is all about.  Growing up takes time so transition does not happen overnight, however it does happen a lot faster than the first time around, unless you are one of the lucky ones who have not allowed the veil to be drawn.  When we start young the false persona is not created, but we still must be aware of our authentic self and make sure that is who we are expressing.

Transition is a natural process that really needs no assistance other than deep awareness.  Are you aware of how you feel?  What makes you happy?  Have you walked down that road and deeply enjoyed the journey?  If you are male transitioning to female then dress up and see how it feels.  Know as much as you can what you are getting into (or vice versa guys).  Letting go of your male persona is like trying to escape a swarm of mosquitoes!  It can drive you insane!

Sometimes guidance is necessary along the way, so please get help if you can.  Discovering the aspects of you that are false can be a long road and not an obvious one.  The most important aspect of the transition journey is to be authentic and natural.  Authenticity involves following your bliss, and doing that which brings Joy to your heart.  Let go of any desire to play a role or attempt to fit other people’s expectations.  It is not about being black or white (male or female), but about showing your true colors!

When did it all begin?

When does transition begin?  Does it have a beginning? Or an end?  Transition is a process of change, so it never really has a beginning or an end, because change is on-going.  Ever since the big bang the universe has been expanding and changing!  There is no end.

On a more personal level, your transition began the day you were conceived!  What we experience and often think of as a “transition” are cycles or phases of change.  These occur at many levels and often at the same time.  Our bodies are growing all the time no matter how old you are.  Even at the age of 100 your body is growing new cells to replace old ones and this continues till the old ones far outweigh the new ones, then that body dies and the cycle begins again, in a new lifetime.  This is all going on while we experience emotional changes, mental changes, and spiritual changes.  Transition is multi-dimensional.

For those of us on a gender transition journey, the word “transition” holds unique meaning.  For most of us this journey begins when we start on hormones, however I will state that the first stage or cycle is questioning.  On my website I have an eleven step transitioning guide that outlines the steps as I see them based on my research and experiences.  There could be more or less steps; however, each phase is a transition in itself.  Take the hormones for instance; this phase or transition cycle has a specific start and significant steps along the path.  For those who have the surgery, the post op regimen will differ greatly from the pre-op cycle and the end is not the same for everyone.  Some post op transwomen take hormones the rest of their lives and others will stop taking hormones once they reach a certain age.

The cycles have certain similarities between people, but each person will have specific differences in their transition cycles or phases.  Our experiences define us to an extent, but they are not who we are. Life is made up of one experience after another like the layers of an onion, only far more complex.  So when does transition begin?  It depends on which one you are speaking of and who you are asking!  Blessings on your journey of Love 🙂    Sequoia Elisabeth

Row, Row, Row your Boat…

Transition is a way of life for many of us.  We get so used to change that without it we are lost.  I challenge you to do nothing today!  The very statement is an oxymoron.  The point is that we cannot live in this world without change.  We are constantly shifting from one state to another like the ebb and flow of the tide.  The waves of thought never cease, ever so gently lapping at the shores of our mind.  How about sitting on the bluff above the shore today and simply observe? (of course I mean this figuratively)  Make no judgments, make no decisions, and make no resistance.  Simply enjoy this moment that feels eternal (It is).  What do you see?  What do you feel?  That is OK.  Everything is OK, no matter what thoughts flow through your psyche today.

Each event that occurs in our lives simply leads to a better one.  After “doing nothing” for as long as you can, start choosing your thoughts as they float by like yellow rubber ducky’s on a stream….  Pick one up and see if you like it.  Don’t like it simply put it back in the stream!  Life really is that simple.  If it is not, then it can be!  Thoughts are where our lives begin to materialize, but it is the feelings that give them the fuel to manifest.  Choose a thought, talk about it, feel it as if it were so and be patient.  The Law of Attraction states that if this thought synchronizes with your beliefs then you will physically experience it.

If you would like to know where you stand then simply look around.  This is your creation.  Since change is the way of life, just wait a few minutes it will change!  So appreciate it while you can and if you are really happy with a particular creation, then choose it again.  Gratitude is the gravy that makes our lives worth living.  I am so grateful you have chosen to read this far!  Blessings on your journey 😉
