We are One

Appearances Can Be Deceiving

Transition from male to female or vice versa is a drastic physical change and is often difficult not only for the person transitioning but for the entire family and if the person is famous then the entire community.  The further removed this person is the easier it is to accept, however when it is a person you admire or even idolize it becomes a whole different story.

Why are things so difficult you may ask?  Because each person has a concept of whom they think that person is.  You know your brother, right?  Or whatever role that person plays in your life, you think that is who this person is, but is that reality?  If your brother becomes your sister or your father becomes your second mom does this lessen the relationship?  How does this reflect on you?

The pride cometh before the fall!  Maybe the biggest issue is that your ego is bruised from the whole affair.  Someone in your family is different and this embarrasses you.  You did not even know this person whom you were so close to and oh my goodness this could rub off on me!  Does this mean I am queer too?  A member of your “team” has fallen in your eyes… or have they?

Maybe what is amiss is the mistaken notion that families know each other better than the rest of the world knows them.  Maybe everything happens for a reason and contains a gift for all involved.  Maybe each person need be on the lookout for gifts and when drastic events such as one family member transitioning occur this is the greatest gift of all.

The lessons are many and are different for each person involved, however a few themes are “we are not our bodies, we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience, do not judge a book by its cover, and Love has no limits.”  The human race is in a pivotal stage of evolution.  The physical body is being surpassed by the mental and Spirit.  It is a case of the jar no longer containing all the juice.  The body no longer defines who we are (if it ever did).

Appearances can be deceiving!  Just because someone looks big and strong, does this mean they are?  Or maybe they are beautiful to the eye; does this mean they have depth of character and compassion?  The saying, “do not judge a book by its cover” applies here.  However just because you have read the book (think you know your brother) does not mean that someone else could not interpret the story differently.

Love has no limits!  Unconditional Love is the only true Love!  This means that no matter what this person does that you still Love them and accept them for who they believe themselves to be!  It means you do not judge them for doing something you disagree with or goes against your moral values.  It does not mean that you must join them!  Pain comes from resistance and is often connected to ego; it is not Love!

So what is a person to do when it comes to family, friends or enemies?  The spiritual teachings tell us to Love thy neighbor as thyself.  See beyond the “cover” or physical body and perceive the soul, because when you see each person as a brilliant soul, child of God.  The world changes… it becomes Heaven.

Be The Change

What is this thing called transition and why do I care?  The basic term is fairly simple and broad in meaning.  It simply means a change from one state of being to another.  The key word here is being.  This is a state of being not doing.  Doing is not involved in transition.  There is nothing you can “do” to transition.  As you be that which you are, that which you are reveals itself.

Once you think about this for a few minutes you will realize the profoundness of this statement.  I will repeat it so you can get your head around this, there is nothing you can “do” to transition!  It matters not what type of transition you are experiencing either.  The transition can be gender related, work related, life style related or whatever.  Transition is about being, not doing.   This can appear to be shifting, and you may have different experiences and points of view, but your essence does not change.

Mahatma Gandhi is quoted as saying, “Be the change you desire to see in the world”.  So what does this mean?  It means that your state of being is a product of your desires.  If you are being a woman then you are one and what you “do” follows this.   If you move to a new home far away does this change your state of being?  If you wear the clothes of the opposite sex does this change who you are being?

What I am saying here is transition involves a lot more than just changing your behavior, location or circumstances.  Transition is a change in being-ness at the very core of who you are.  As an example the transgender community often talks about all the physical changes involved, but rarely do they discuss the deep inner changes required to fully transition.  Getting SRS or Breast augmentation does not change who you are or who you are being!

Cis-gender women and men rarely even consider their gender, because it is a perfectly natural state of being to them.  To a transgender person however their state of being seems off and they desire to change or transition to a state that is harmonious.  In order to fully transition then a person must change from one state of being to another.

Gender Transition is more than changing appearances; it is an awareness of the inner self and then simply being it.  The exterior conforms to the state of being.  This comes back to what we discussed earlier, As above so below. (see last blog)  The physical, mental, and spiritual are connected and as one changes the others follow.  This happens in the order of Spiritual, Mental and then Physical.  This means that it is not a conscious choice to change genders, but it is a Spiritual one!

As Above So Below

As above so below; as below so above!  What exactly does this mean?  Why is it important?  I have been thinking about this Universal Law of Correspondence and how it relates to Gender Transition.  So let’s start with the first question, what exactly does this mean?

The Universal Law of Correspondence tells us there is “harmony, agreement and correspondence” between the physical, mental and spiritual realms. There is no separation since everything in the Universe, including you, originates from the One Source. The same pattern is expressed on all planes of existence from the smallest electron to the largest star and vice versa. All is One.

The why is this question important, is a no brainer!  This is the essence of our being; the nature of our very existence!  “It is possible that each of us is a function of what the whole cosmos is doing at a point called here and now. In effect, each of us IS the whole universe looking at itself through our eyes. The universe is conscious and self-aware, a.k.a. God, and this awareness and consciousness is within each of us. In other words, what happened to Jesus was NOT a unique experience that only happened to one man in all history and prehistory, but something that EACH of us can experience directly when we tune in to the consciousness that is the base of our existence.” (Watson, Chris 2007)

Just how this quote (As above so below; as below so above) relates to gender transition is the meat of this blog.  As always I would love to hear your take on how this relates to gender transition.  Here is my take on it.  We are experiencing an enlightenment on the scale of Jesus, Buddha, Babaji and many others.  We are realizing that gender is a human construct and simply does not exist at higher frequencies of existence.  It is necessary in this world to facilitate propagation and fully experience the duality of this world.  Gender supplies balance in a world that requires it, but is rarely in balance.

You may remember me saying, I am a Spiritual Being having a human experience.  This explains this law quite succinctly and adds profound meaning to the saying, as above so below.  This means that here in the below world we are coming into realization of the Oneness with above.  As we do this we experience enlightenment!  I am one with my creator, and in fact I am my creator experiencing a unique aspect of myself, known to me as (insert name).

Gender transition is me knowing myself as more than a simple body, singular dimension, limited animal in a cruel world.  Everyone in this world is experiencing the opposite of who they really are!  As we awaken to the Truth we are set free!  Each person awakens in their own way experiencing life from a unique perspective.

The physical changes experienced in this world do manifest in the higher frequency realms because we are all connected in Oneness.  Seeing the perfection in this is my goal.  What I do in this world impacts my evolution in many dimensions, just as what I do there affects me here!  I am BOTH male & female and Neither!  Love is the answer.

Transgender and beyond

It is time we revisited Transgender, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation so that everyone understands the meaning of certain words and concepts.  The Unitarian Universalist Church as a wonderful site (beside my own site of course) that gives a good overview of these principles, so please visit by clicking here after you have read this blog of course, lol.

First and foremost it is important to understand that gender and sex are different things and have multiple meanings.  Gender is your self-concept of who you are man, woman, transgender, androgynous or other.  Each individual is born with this, but is not aware of it till the ages of 3-6.  If a discrepancy is perceived then this awareness is often suppressed or denied in order to fit in.  I pray this is changing and from what I have observed it is.  Children are coming out and telling their parents who are actually respecting their concerns.  Cisgender is a term that describes “people who are not trans or gender variant—in other words, those whose gender identities, presentations, and behavior “match” (according to the gender binary) the sex they were assigned at birth.” (UUA.org)

Transgender and/or Trans is a person appearing or attempting to be a member of the opposite sex, such as a transsexual or habitual crossdresser.  This term is often as an umbrella term to include the entire community of individuals who cross gender boundaries on a consistent basis.  For more on terminology I cover it extensively at this link.

Sexual Orientation is also hard wired at birth and does not change, although many people now days are bisexual or pansexual meaning they are open to the individuals personality and not so concerned with physical sex.  A homosexual is attracted to their own sex and will not consider being with the opposite sex, just as a heterosexual is only interested in the opposite sex.  With Transgender individuals these definitions get blurry, so it is up to the individual to identify.  Make no assumptions because each person is different and may change their mind from time to time, especially if they are young and exploring.  The term sex can also mean physical or biological sex.

The traits of the Aquarian Age person is that of being bisexual and androgynous which explains much of the trans-revolution we are experiencing today!   We are moving from the end of the Piscean era to the new era of Aquarian!  I have spoken of this in other blogs and find that this explains much of what I have been experiencing.  I have decided not to get too drastic with my transition because I can see the bigger picture!  I am exactly the person I was meant to be straight from birth!

Does this mean I was not to transition?  Of course not!  That is the purpose of these times and my life is a mirror of the greater whole just as your life is!  All I am saying is I have chosen not to have sex change surgery.  Your path is up to you and if you have questions I am happy to assist!  Please visit the website below and explore the Gender Learning Center.  It goes into gender at length as well as sexual orientation and the different aspects of each of these.  The eBook “Sex and Sexuality” is available free on this website also.  The eBook is an extensive look at gender, sex, orientation, sexuality, and more.  So please give it a look see.   The website below lists the info in several formats -video, powerpoint, written, quiz, and eBook, so you can find what works best for your learning method.

The New World Order

Daily jobs are very important to the workings of society, and our economic system is being rewritten out of necessity.  It no longer sustains us.  Jobs are changing accordingly.  New jobs are sprouting up like daisies while many old jobs are becoming obsolete.  The number of Americans who are self employed or working contract is sky rocketing.  We have seen this phenomena portrayed in movies such as “Robots” and others where technology takes over certain jobs creating other jobs in new fields such as machine maintenance and computer programming.  Corporations that thrive are the ones who embrace change and forge a niche for themselves in the new world, much as our founding fathers did when they came to this country some five centuries ago.

Many people believe that they came to find religious freedom and that was a small part of it, but mostly it was the corporations of Europe, mostly England who were looking for growth possibilities.  They found them at the expense of the native peoples of America and many other countries around the globe.  This transition was indeed bloody and painful for all involved, but I believe that nothing happens without our consent on some level.

The native people did not realize they had given consent for this kind of growth, but on a Spiritual level they knew.  It was part of the growth of consciousness which is inevitable.  So do not feel bad for either side in history because what was meant to be will be.  I hold the Native Americans in great esteem for the honor and wisdom in which they live life.   The same goes for the natives of Africa and Australia and all the other players we have in the world, they are all part of the larger expansion in human consciousness.

The role of the frequency holder, light worker, or peacemaker is to see beyond “reality” which is really illusion and hold a vision of peace, harmony and oneness (Divine Truth) out for all to see!  As we live the life of our dreams to the ideals we envision, and others do the same this realization of Truth or expansion of Human Consciousness reaches a tipping point, and the whole world transforms.

Can you envision an ideal world?  What would it be like?  I have written about this in the eBook “a Love Based Society” and in the article “A Perfect Society“.  Click the link to get your no cost copy.

I invite you to share your vision in the comments section, and with your partner, friends and family, because this is how we grow.  Hold a vision, share it all around, even write a book about it, and eventually your dream becomes reality.  As I have said a thousand times, be careful what you wish for – you might just get it!  Next issue will look at the illusions and perceived costs of this evolution.

Toning For Healing

Toning is the practice of using the voice to facilitate healing and shifting the perception of reality.  It may be used individually or in groups of 2 or more; the more people toning at the same time with the same intention the more profound the effects of the toning.  It is like prayer in musical form with the accuracy of mathematics.

Toning is a harmonic frequency created by the human voice and powered by the intention put into it.  The healing effects are profound and often this technique it used unconsciously.  Have you ever stubbed your toe and shouted OOOOHHH?  The sound you make after hurting yourself is a form of toning!  I remember as a child I had terrible growing pains and I would tone myself to sleep.  At the time I called it moaning, lol.  It is the same thing however with one big difference.  Toning is powered by intention and is a conscious act of healing which makes it more powerful.

To tone one simply makes a sound in a constant tone for as long as the breath will last and then repeats this tone several times.  Afterward silence is maintained for a period equal to the toning.  The sound can be anything and it is good to set an intention or make a prayer prior to toning.  A group toning together with hands held amplifies the effect.  The toning can be a word, a vowel or just about anything.  “Omm” is a powerful sound to make because it is said to be God’s name in certain religions.  The important part is the tone should have meaning to you and the group.  Notice the similarity in the sound of “O”, “Om”, God!

The Native Americans and other ancient peoples have been using toning for centuries in their ceremonies and healing sessions.  It is a natural process that facilitates the flow of energy through the body.  This video I found on youtube explains what I am saying here with Divine Harmony, please take a look and use this practice consciously in your life!

Law of Mentalism Revisited

We have arrived at the beginning – the First Immutable Universal Law of Mentalism.   The First Universal Law is first because understanding this Law opens the door to the other seven.  I am not talking about the Law of Attraction here because it is basic to all laws weaving them together.  I have dedicated several blog posts to the Law of Attraction and will again. Let us move on to our discussion for today.

“Of the seven Universal Laws, the first three are immutable, eternal Laws, meaning they are Absolute and can never be changed or transcended. They have always existed and will always exist. The other four laws are transitory, mutable Laws meaning that they can be transcended or at least “better used” to create your ideal reality. This is not to say that you should ignore these four Laws or attempt to defy them for even if you do they will still govern your existence. Your aim is to master each of the seven Universal Laws and only then learn to transcend the mutable ones.

The Law of Mentalism: “The All is Mind – The Universe is Mental”. The first of the Universal Laws tells us that “All is Mind”. That everything we see and experience in our physical world has its origin in the invisible, mental realm. It tells us that there is a single Universal Consciousness – the Universal Mind – from which all things manifest. All energy and matter at all levels is created by and is subordinate to the Omnipresent Universal Mind. Your mind is part of the Universal Mind – the same in kind with the only difference being one of degree. Your reality is a manifestation of your mind. This is true Mind Power.” (Kotsos 2011)

Sooo…, What do you think? (That is meant as a pun, giggles ;- ) Consider this quote by Ernest Holmes, the author of Science of Mind. “There is but one Mind, the Mind of God, and that Mind is my Mind Now.”  It is hard to believe that God could be thinking some of the things I have been thinking, especially in my adolescence; however, I will not get into the ego mind vs. the God Mind in this blog because we have covered that before (write to me if you would like to know more).  The power of this Universal Law is that by careful attention and diligent weeding you can change your thoughts to align with your desires.  The Universal Mind can also be shifted in your perception so that you experience your desires, although ultimately all desires are the same; to know God.  Even the desire to wipe God from your Mind results in knowing God!  We are all God – Godding!

Law of Correspondence Revisited

The power in this immutable Law of the Universe cannot be understated.  Once you understand this Law fully everything in your life will transform for the better.  It is not hard either, however it does take time to see this Law in action and therefore understand it fully.  The first step is to state this Second Universal Law and contemplate its meaning.

The Law of Correspondence: “As above, so below; as below, so above”. This Law tells us there is “harmony, agreement and correspondence” between the physical, mental and spiritual realms. There is no separation since everything in the Universe, including you, originates from the One Source. The same pattern is expressed on all planes of existence from the smallest electron to the largest star and vice versa. All is One. The Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi was referring to this great Law of Correspondence in the inscription “Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the Universe”. (Kotsos 2011)

We are One!  When you hear the statement God is all there is, this pretty much sums it up, but as simple as it is, it can be very difficult to conceptualize.  Stop what you are doing or thinking at this time and contemplate that “We are all One”.  This means that everything is connected and working together even though the opposite may appear sometimes.  In fact your opposite is a part of you too.  The significance of this is that what you see around you, what is happening to you and what is happening inside you are all a part of YOU.  Each aspect of your being is connected, your thoughts, your body, and your spirit are always in communication and when your mind is open you can be aware of this fact.

The Spirit has a larger view than the mental or physical aspects of your being so it is generally a good idea to be aware of the Spirit and follow its guidance.  Since we are all one this guidance in effect is God.  I have written about this many times before, so please understand that if God is all there is; then you are God, even if this is a small aspect of God.  As stated above the same pattern is expressed on all planes of existence.  A hologram is an image that reflects in 3D while containing the whole.  The One Source is reflected in all things at all levels.  When you start looking for patterns repeated on different levels it is amazing what reveals itself.  For instance, each cell in your body is alive, take the cell out of the body and it will continue living.  Within the cells are organs which are alive they are smaller patterns of the larger whole.  You are the larger whole.  Each person on earth makes up a collective human race like cells in the body of Gaia.  The solar system is made up of bodies called planets, and galaxies are made up of bodies called solar systems….

If you put a mirror in front of a mirror you see the pattern repeated as far as the eye can see.  This is what the holographic effect is.  This is what the One Source has done.  Everything in the Universe is a reflection of God.  So, the next time you get angry with your brother for taking something that belonged to you, ask yourself, if we are one, who really owns that something?  Is it really gone if we are all One?  When you give a present to your best friend, aren’t you giving that gift to yourself?  Since we are all One!  Maybe you can see the significance of this Universal Law, so now go out and test it, look for it and experience it.  Oneness is profound, almost beyond belief!!

Law of Vibration Revisited

This 3rd Universal Law is an elemental and immutable Universal Law, meaning that it is fixed and will not change.  Vibration is the fundamental nature of all energy in the Universe.  Transition is the process of shifting this vibrational frequency on a fundamental and permanent level.  Some change is temporary and other changes are permanent, so be aware how this Law works so that you may fully harness its benefits.

“The Law of Vibration: “Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates”. The third and last of the immutable Universal Laws, tells us that “the whole universe is but a vibration”. Science has confirmed that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies. The axiom that “like energy attracts like energy”, upon which the Law of Attraction is based, has its foundation in this Law. Everything that we experience with our five physical senses is conveyed through vibrations. The same applies to the mental realm. Your thoughts are vibrations. All your emotions are vibrations where “unconditional love” is the highest and most subtle of the emotional vibrations and “hate” is the densest and most base. You can learn to control your mental vibrations at will. This is true thought power.” (Kotsos 2011)

There are some wonderful videos online that go into the specifics of energy or vibrational frequency, although most are over simplifications.  This is a complex process that exists at many levels from quarks to Universes.  Movement is our nature, so understand this and work with it.  The density of the object is relative to the vibrational frequency of the molecules within the object.  The slower the vibration the more dense it is.  Energy is neither created nor destroyed it merely changes form.  The process of forming diamonds from coal takes immense pressure and heat (two kinds of energy) combined to shift the vibrational frequency of the coal to that of a diamond (Lower to Higher Energy).  Man has figured out how to create diamonds through external mechanical means using intense heat and pressure energy.  We are becoming Masters of our environment.  With this awesome power comes responsibility.  This same power can destroy us as we have witnessed in the Atomic Bomb.

Thought is energy that vibrates and combines with the molecules of our body to manifest shift in expression.  All healing and changes in appearance begin as thought.  The scale of this thought determines its power.  Aging for instance is a Universal Conscious thought, so everyone on earth ages.  In order to forgo aging one must vibrate above the frequency of this Universal Consciousness.  Spiritual Masters can do this, and many have done so.  You too can do this!  Your physical structure can be changed by aligning your bodily vibration with that which you desire.  This of course applies to any healing, cosmetic changes, gender transition, body building, etc.  You may have heard the saying, “If you wish to be a millionaire then think like one”.  The same applies to whatever it is you desire; Be It.  In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the Peace you desire in the world”.

🙂 Sequoia Elisabeth

Unity in Gender Diversity

Ps. The word “Be” implies both action and non-action.  The idea behind gender transition is to be yourself and allow your inner self to emerge, by simply “being”.  Of course, since you were born in the opposite body, action is required to embody this “being”.  It is important to remember that God is all, and has no gender.  You are an expression of God!

Law of Polarity Revisited

This 4th of 7 Universal Law is one that we face every day and when we understand this Law and how to transmute it so many doors open that lead to Joy, Peace and Love.  On the transition journey seeing the polarity, knowing that they are two parts of a whole and embracing both parts leads us to freedom.

“The Law of Polarity: “Everything is dual, everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree”. The first of the mutable Universal Laws tells us that there are two sides to everything. Things that appear as opposites are in fact only two extremes of the same thing. For instance heat and cold may appear to be opposites at first glance, but in truth they are simply varying degrees of the same thing. The same applies to love and hate, peace and war, positive and negative, good and evil, yes and no, light and darkness, energy and matter. You can transform your thoughts from hate to love, from fear to courage by consciously raising your vibrations. This is what in the ancient Hermetic Teachings is called the Art of Polarization.

Neutralizing the Law of Polarity: This Principle of Duality may appear to be very real in your life but it operates only in the physical and mental realms, not in the spiritual realm where All is One. As it says in the Bhagavad-Gita “God is Above the Opposites”. By always placing the all-powerful, all-knowing Great Spirit of which you are a part behind your every thought, statement and action, and by always focusing on the “good”, even when things appear to be going “bad”, then in time you will neutralize the Law of Polarity such that it ceases to operate in your life.” (Kotsos 2011)

Relating this Law to gender transition, male and female are parts of the whole and when you see this transition becomes so much easier.  Take a paper sack and turn it inside out, notice the similarities and the differences.  Now turn your paper sack into a plastic bag.  Having difficulty with that?  Paper and plastic come from different elements and are thus not the same.  We are able to transition from male to female or female to male because each is a pole of the same thing, Human.  We are not turning coal into gold here; instead we are turning the sack inside out.

Focus on embracing both parts of the whole and putting them in place respective to your personal gender identity.  In essence you are showing the world who you are, not who they expect to see.  This is done by Loving all of your body, not just the part you identify with.  How can you only Love a part of God?  Or Love only a part of your Partner?  True Love and complete transition are total Love of all aspects of who you are, good or bad!

🙂  Sequoia Elisabeth

Ps. When I use capital letters with words like Love, I refer to Divine Love, not ego love.  If you don’t know the difference read my eBooks or write to me, I am happy to explain.

Pss. Know that you have free will, so changing any aspect of your body is your choice and does not affect Polarity, you are always both male and female.  It is simply a matter of which is being expressed.

Honest, Responsible and True

Today’s Transition Blog considers the words Truth, Responsible, and Honest.  Noble words to be sure, but what do they really mean?  How do they fit into your life, or to reverse that, how do you fit into the definition of these words?  Let us look deeper to get a better feel for these words and the importance they play in everyone’s life.

“Hon·est:

1. Honorable in principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair: an honest person.

2. Showing uprightness and fairness: honest dealings.

3. Gained or obtained fairly: honest wealth.

4. Sincere; frank: an honest face.

5. Genuine or unadulterated: honest commodities.” (Dictionary.com)

So who embodies these qualities?  Do you?  Every day in everything you do the opportunity to embody these traits exists, so you make this decision, albeit unconsciously most of the time, to be honest or not.  Consider how these actions define you and who they impact the most.  It certainly affects those you are dealing with, but more importantly how does it affect you?   Honesty is essential to self respect and self worth.  Being honorable is an act done for the self and that benefit then flows out to all those involved!

“Re·spon·si·ble:

1. Answerable or accountable, as for something within one’s power, control, or management (often followed by to or for): He is responsible to the president for his decisions.

2. Involving accountability or responsibility: a responsible position.

3. Chargeable with being the author, cause, or occasion of something (usually followed by for): Termites were responsible for the damage.

4. Having a capacity for moral decisions and therefore accountable; capable of rational thought or action: The defendant is not responsible for his actions.” (Dictonary.com)

This is a profound word that touches life everyday in some way.  Look closely at these meanings and consider how they impact your life.  Have you ever attempted to avoid responsibility?  Do you hold yourself accountable for your actions?   Do you realize that you are the author of your life?  Simply knowing this is a step toward responsibility.  We are all capable for rational thought and action, so there is no excuse for denying responsibility!

“Truth:

1. The true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth.

2. Conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement.

3. A verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths.

4. The state or character of being true.

5. Actuality or actual existence.” (Dictionary.com)

This word is the sum total of all other words.  It is what is left after all else is removed.  This is a very elusive word and experience.  In the world of duality Truth seems to shift constantly so that attaining total Truth is almost impossible.  It is however the goal.  The goal we all aspire to!  It is possible Truth is only found after death, but even this is not Truth.  Death does not exist!  Please understand that most of what you experience in this world is other than Truth, Responsibility, and Honesty!

I aspire to these ideals daily and sometimes I even get close!  It is a constant vigil, one that I accept with pride and joy.  I bless you on your Journey of Love, may you find the Truth, Responsibility and Honesty you seek!

Money is Energy Continued

In continuing the story of money as energy and the created economy consider your own situation.  How much energy are you attracting?  How much energy do you give away or expend?  The system always balances itself!  The good news is that the system feeds on itself and grows proportionately.  You may have heard the Law of Tenfold Return, if not click here for more.

In reality you are an economy of one multiplied by millions!  In essence the world is your creation and therefore is an extension of you.  Of course your perspective is that of an individual who is separate from the rest of the world.  It is really an ingenious design, although it is NOT divine design; unless it is.  You see the ego mind is what creates your reality with all its challenges and gifts.  When you ask for help from Holy Spirit, it takes what you have created and makes it whole again.  This is called the process of for-give-ness.

An object in motion tends to stay in motion.  Meaning that once you make a choice life falls into place to support that choice and if you ever wish to choose it again it is that much easier.  A good Samaritan for instance is on that tangent and it gets easier and easier to stay on that tangent.  One step in the other direction simply negates the energy created so far.  Remember the balance?  There is also the concept of “guilty by association” which means the energy is contagious and by hanging out with a certain group your energy will tend in that direction, wealthy, criminal, degenerate, upstanding moral, etc.

You are like a magnet for energy!  The energy you put out is drawn back to you and by the Law of Attraction – Like attracts Like.  Maybe you enjoy hanging out with those of “like mind”?  We all do it is natural to be with those who are like you!  This does not necessarily mean in appearance although often that is the case also.

Appearance can be a tricky thing and constantly confuses the average person.  How can a grimy Homeless man living on the street win the lottery? (and they have!) Because this is not the energy he is putting out.  He is probably helping his fellow man, caring of others and at sometime in the past in a position of at least modest means if not wealthy.

Creating money is easy for those who go against the grain and partake in illegal activities.  These pursuits always pay off in karmic ways down the line.  Remember what you give you receive, or those who live by the sword die by the sword!  Enough said.

Money is a tool and it matters not who uses the tool.  In this same way energy is a tool, like fabric it weaves life into a beautiful creation.  We are quite deep at the moment and I am not sure you get the meaning of this and I find this could easily fill an entire blog (which it has – Tools of the Mind).  I will wrap this up here.

One last word here on free money.  We have established that money is energy, so this would mean that energy is free right?  In essence energy is free, however in this ego based world there is always a balance so this means nothing is free!  You might not pay in cash, but it always costs something, even a smile!  Do you know the only thing you have more of when you give it away?   LOVE (smiles fall into this category).

If you have questions on what I have presented here please write to me and ask.  I am happy to clarify anything that puzzles you.  Be sure to read the eBooks and articles on this website, Unity in Gender Diversity.

Money is Energy

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” (Wayne Dyer).  Take money for instance, if you change the way you look at or use it, it will change its role in your life.  When life is broken down to the base components the finding is that everything is energy.  So this means that money is energy too!

What if you stopped looking at money as a burden or distant object that is hard to obtain and instead see it for what it is – energy?  The energy components are everywhere but not always compatible which sometimes makes conversion difficult.  Energy exists in many forms and in many states so the issue of quality becomes more important than quantity since energy is everywhere.  Digitized bits of data are flowing though the air waves right now carrying billions of dollars all over the world – this very cash is flowing through your body!  Abundance is our nature.

This world is a free will zone meaning that you have choices and no one can make them for you unless you give them permission to, and this can occur without being aware of it, so take note here.  Make your decision consciously!  Be aware and make others aware of your view points on money and everything else in the world.  Sharing is a good thing.

Going back to money as energy, usually your efforts are converted to money by working or selling something you have.  It takes energy either way to make something, provide a service, or share your knowledge.  All that you have and do is of value whether a monetary sum is placed on it or not.  It is the conscious intent behind what you offer that determines the value (quality), as well as how this action, service or product is received.  The principle is what you put in is what you get out.

There is the old saying, something is only worth what someone will give you for it.  Of course this does not take into account intrinsic value or implied value or even value added!  It takes energy to tighten your face muscles into a smile, this expenditure of energy is free but has value because you are giving energy away!  The energy has to come from somewhere, and it does.  It comes from either your pocket in the form of food used by your body or it comes from Divine Source.  We all know how to get energy from eating, but getting energy from Divine Source is not generally taught.  ( I cover this in my eBooks)

They say money does not grow on trees but in fact it does come from trees and everything else in this world.  Beside that fact that money is made from paper which comes from trees, energy is constantly changing forms.  This is how the barter system works; exchange one form of energy for another.

Self worth is also a big factor in how much energy you attract.  If you feel worthy it shows in your actions which are generous and caring.  You take the actions necessary to care for yourself and those in your life.  We have made this process very complicated these days, but it works either way.  You can work to make things, then work to market and sell them, and then use the funds gained to get what you need or study for years to gain the skills for a career and then work for a corporation or small business or you can simply create the things you need.  Grow your own food, make your own clothing, etc.  One reason commerce exists is because not everyone enjoys creating all things.  So we work together to create what brings us Joy and in sharing an economy is created.  The market decides how valuable what you create is, but it also comes from you!  It is a dual process.  I will get into this more on the next blog!

Gender Surgery Other Options

On the topic of surgery related to gender transition there are many options these days.  Each person will have different desires and resources so this blog is very general.  Be sure to discuss more specific concerns with your gender therapist or contact me.  I am happy to answer questions.

Gender Dysphoria is the medical term assigned to transgender and transsexual individuals who are uncomfortable with their birth sex.  The issue is the gender identity and the physical sex are non-congruent (do not match).  Thus the new medical term of Gender Incongruency used now.

The treatment for this has evolved over the years and it has been found that while the genitalia are important other areas of the body are even more important in successful gender transition.  The face and breasts are key attributes of being female or male!  So it makes sense to alter these first and foremost to alleviate the dysphoria.

It is also important to remember the reason for any gender surgery is to alleviate the dysphoria and align the individual with their perceived gender identity.  Everyone deserves to be comfortable in their own skin!  Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and Breast Augmentation Surgery are two methods of treating Gender Incongruency which may be more important than even the GRS, although some individuals have it all.

Some of the other more minor surgeries being done are trachea shave, liposuction, buttocks enhancement, rhinoplasty, hair implants, botox, and lip enhancement.  The list is only limited by your imagination!

For the Female to Male transition breast reduction and hysterectomy are the important surgeries.  FtoM transgender transition well with CHT and some only have the “top” surgery (breast reduction) depending on the level of dysphoria.  Removing the ovaries is important to CHT making treatment more effective.

Another option of treatment for the MtoF is Orchiectomy.  This is the surgical removal of the testis without any cosmetic changes.  This procedure is inexpensive comparatively speaking at around $3,000-4,000 USD, it may be available for less depending on the surgeon and geographical location.  The purpose of this surgery is to remove the production of testosterone and thus eliminate the need for anti-androgens in the transition thus avoiding the cost and side effects.  Estrogen is still used in varying amounts depending on the timeline of transition.  The first three years are critical for a successful transition, so it is vital to remain on estrogen continuously for that period.   Those who are on and off CHT do not feminize well.  They are left requiring surgery for all their feminizing.  (The patient is taken off all CHT several weeks before surgery and then resume afterwards depending on doctors orders, this is unavoidable and has minimal long term effects, i.e. the benefits outweigh the costs/risks)

The CHT when used properly and as early as possible will preclude the need for FFS and Breast Augmentation in most cases.  So these surgeries are mostly for individuals who transition later in life.  Great care must be exercised in deciding the need for surgery!  It is a trap that many are falling prey to now days with the explosion of cosmetic surgeries being done.  The addictive qualities of almost instant gratification are not to be underestimated.  Proceed with caution.

The transition journey is about learning to love yourself for who you are.  Drastic surgeries are helpful in some cases; however it is easy to abuse technology!  It is recommended that gender therapy be sought out first before any thoughts of surgery are seriously considered.  Once you are sure surgery is right for you do the research to find a surgeon that can deliver the results you desire.

The number of qualified surgeons specializing in gender surgeries is growing all the time, so look locally and consider all your options.  Just as in any surgery consider your motives, the consequences and the costs (not just money).

Imagine the results you desire and stay focused on this.  You can also use your imagination to decide what exactly you desire, although actual experience has no substitute.  If you feel like being with the same (birth) sex then do so and then decide if you desire GRS or other surgery.  Be as clear as you can because there is no turning back!  (Even though some have tried).   When you are intimate with your partner how do you feel?  Is this different than other times?

Blessings on your Journey of Love!

Gender Surgery

Continuing from the previous blog post, doing research concerning transition and Genital Reassignment Surgery (GRS) is very important.  The older term SRS (Sexual Reassignment Surgery) is still used by some.  Please review this page in the Gender Learning Center (Click here) for assistance in your research.

SRS/GRS is not as complicated as one would think.  The procedure has been done now for over 50 years and lately the surgeons are getting very good at it.  Some of the issues to be concerned with are logistics, cost and convenience.  The skill of the surgeon is a very hot topic and while this is important, it is not as big an issue as it would seem.  Depending on where the surgery is done, most countries have strict standards doctors must abide by, especially since surgery and medical care has become a commodity that brings in big money.  Thailand and India are emerging as world leaders in this market so they definitely deserve a close look and your consideration when it comes to choosing your surgeon and location.   The price you pay is many hours in a plane traveling across the world to save a few thousand dollars.  When you can barely sit down, being in an airplane for 20+ hours is not appealing.  Of course there are options to cope with this such as meds and cushions.  From what I hear it is worth the trip.

The USA has several very good surgeons now doing SRS/GRS, so look closely at the local options.  Most gender therapists will know who they are as do the gender support groups.   I will not list them here because I would leave some out and that is not my purpose here.  The informational sites I list on my website do include several surgeons, however I chose them on the basis of information provided, not on how good the surgeon is.  If you have questions or need help finding someone close to you I am happy to assist.  See the website Unity in Gender Diversity.

Logistics includes things like travel, housing, post care, assistance during recovery, preparations before surgery, documentation (passport, proper ID, surgery letters from your therapist), and medical records.  Each surgeon will have requirements for you to meet, and they give ample advanced notice in most cases, however it is prudent to research this, so you are prepared.  Call it peace of mind.

Cost is an issue that we all are acutely aware of.  Many options exist however it is recommended that you get references from the surgeon you choose and make sure the location has the resources to provide safe and effect treatment in the event of an unexpected emergency.   The costs include, travel, housing, food, surgeon fees, hospital fees, operating room fees, anesthesia fees, and medicines.  Most surgeons have package deals so make sure exactly what you are getting and what will be extra.  The recovery time is at least two weeks and many take as much as six weeks, so another cost is time off of work.

Convenience is the last but not least concern when choosing a surgeon and location.  It is not to be under estimated. From the many post op transsexuals I have talked with, being able to travel a short distance to the surgery center and home again is a real plus.  The horror stories of being on a plane for hours and hours is something to consider carefully.  Take into consideration your age, possible side trips, who will be with you, and your travel experience.  Those who are seasoned travelers will be more inclined to go far to save a little money.  I also hear that sightseeing in places like Thailand can make it all worthwhile.  Don’t rule out locations such as Europe, Mexico, Caribbean, India, or Canada.  Check with your local Gender support group for those surgeons who are close to you and be sure to check credentials and review customer satisfaction of others who have experienced their services.

Trans-Gender Expectations

The usual course of transition for a Male to Female (MtoF) Transgender is to first dress as a woman and to socialize with peers prior to taking the major step of CHT (Contra-Hormone Therapy).  (HRT is hormone replacement therapy and since transition is about change and not replacement this term does not apply to the trans journey). Socializing as a woman is very different than as a man so getting used to that aspect is greatly beneficial in both determining if you desire to progress (going full time) and gaining the skills necessary to be successful.  Many things will come naturally because they are innate such as mannerisms, emotional behavior including needs and desires, and mental processes.  The learned traits may not be natural such as movement, social expectations and relationships.  Gender transition is basically the process of breaking down learned “male” persona and allowing the natural female self to emerge.  This will be easy for some; however, it is a big road block for most.  Only 5% of those who attempt transition fully complete the journey from male to female; the larger percentage end up somewhere in between, which for many is perfectly acceptable and may in fact have been the goal all along.

It is important to be patient with the transition process and allow these things to occur naturally through counseling, feminine coaching, and voice therapy.  A skilled gender therapist/counselor guides the path and provides a third person perspective to facilitate getting in touch with the authentic self.  The feminine coach is valuable in helping to get in touch with feminine energy and develop its expression.  I must say the first time I felt my feminine energy vs. my masculine energy it was a revelation!  Being aware of the body’s energy and what it projects is very important.  To truly express feminine energy do not project energy instead simply center in the divine feminine and this energy will attract others.  I have posted a link on the transgender links page of Unity in Gender Diversity to The Yin Project.  The feminine coaching here is highly recommended.

Voice therapy is vital to MtoF transition.  Start this process as soon as possible, even before transitioning if you are planning that far ahead.  I also recommend getting electrolysis started as soon as possible and depending on your age, I recommend doing laser first to clear the dark hairs and let the electrologist focus on the light hairs.  It will take 6-10 laser treatments.  Don’t let the electrologist tell you that laser is not permanent because I know that it is from experience.   There is a page on this website that goes over the whole process of transition planning.  Expect laser to work and with the proper hormone regimen the face is the only area that needs treatment unless you are unusually hairy and I know that some men are.  Not to worry, this is a part of the journey, so plan for it.

The hormones do a remarkable job of reducing body hair and stopping male pattern hair loss.  Find a doctor who specializes in CHT for transgender/transsexual persons, because doing this yourself or using a doctor with little or no experience is inviting failure.  Getting periodic lab testing done to monitor liver function and other factors is vital to maintain a healthy transition.  Plus working with a skilled professional assures the desired results.  It can be done on your own, but that is contrary to what this whole journey is about in my opinion, which is to fully and completely experience the transition.  This journey can be lethal so take it very seriously!

Many transgender/transsexual persons want to jump straight to the result and if that was meant to be then don’t you think you would have been female from birth?  I can hear all the opinions flying as I write this which is great, remember this is from my experience and if you desire a different experience then make it so.

Surgery is a step that many desire and is the only known successful method of treating severe gender dysphoria.  It is not for everyone though and will be addressed in the next blog.  So stay tuned 😉

All The World Is A Stage

We have all heard the famous quote by William Shakespeare but have you really considered its meaning in your life?  Please read on and I will share my insights.

Each person you meet is playing a role just as any actor would do on stage or on camera.  This person brings personality to that role however it is still a role you as observer are creating.  Your thoughts, feelings and actions are the fuel for this creation and there is a delayed effect so that what you thought yesterday or last week is creating today…this varies.  With practice and intention you can reduce this time lag to seconds!

The time lag is for your own protection by the way.  We wouldn’t want you to kill your boss or rape your sister.  Not to stray too far here, I just need to point out that your thoughts are not yours!  Until you claim them that is.  You are sitting on the banks of a stream of consciousness and your fishing pole is extended.  You are catching thoughts by the second and each one has to be evaluated and either kept or discarded!  The mind is an incredible computer and crunches this data so fast you often do not even realize it is doing so.  Your conscious will can be utilized here to keep the thoughts you like and discard those which are not an expression of who you are?

Returning to the actors or persons in your life… they may change either by death, geography, marriage, or other circumstance.  Over the course of your life the individuals change, but the roles do not!  For example your aunt that inspired you as a youth shows up in your adult life as a dear friend who inspires and comforts you just as she did.  Or you find a father figure in a friend at work.  Getting the picture?

Certain archetypes exist in our life from time to time, so look closely at the people in your life whom you have daily interaction with.  Ask what role they play?  Have they always played this role?  Is someone else playing it now?  How do you interact with them?  For more on Archetypes please see this website.

Take the idea of archetypes to a broader level and see that your current life probably fits into a story line and when the entire span of your life is considered you may see a series of archetypal patterns emerge.  This is your evolutionary journey or your life lessons.

What this understanding has done for me is to make living a purposeful life easier as well as making it easier to love any person I meet in the first moment of introduction.  I immediately see that person as another member of the family and not only do I feel more comfortable but they do as well, because I am radiating Love!

Multi-Purpose Life

What if you have thousands if not millions of purposes in life and not just one?  New books on the purpose of life or finding your true purpose in life come out all the time.   We all feel a need for life to have meaning!  What if that meaning is in the mix and simply by breathing and engaging in this realm your purpose is served?

Think about this for a minute.  It could be your purpose is to smile at that certain person at work at just the right time to give them hope when they are feeling down.  Or take your granddaughter to the zoo and inspire her to be a zoologist or simply to love her.  Your purpose could be simply to think positively and love each person you meet with an open heart and kind words.

Super Heroes are one of our favorite subjects for the movies, however we are each a super hero in ways that really matter to those we love and care about!  The movies are just there to inspire and entertain you.  We each have our gifts to offer the world and what I am offering here today is the realization that you cannot miss your purpose as long as you wake up in the morning and live your life.  The details take care of themselves.

Humanity has a higher purpose also that each of us is here to share.  Some people call them principles to live by, but I see them as Universal Purpose.  The first one is to “Be Here Now”.  This simply means to be awake and aware of as much as possible at all times.  The easiest way to know you are aware is to feel your breath as it moves in and out of your body.  This can be done as you go about your daily activities.  Simply feel your body, every cell is alive, pulsating with energy and carrying you to your destination – Feel It!

The next Universal Purpose is to “Love Unconditionally”.  I think this is self explanatory; however I will point out some key points here.  Love has no limits, and it is your very essence.  Love is who you are!  When you are embracing this gift you serve your purpose.  Love feels good always and all ways, so if you are feeling pain that is a sin or a sign you have missed the mark.  Loving is actually the easiest path or the path of least resistance, so go with the flow and stop trying so hard.  Remember Love is your nature, it is as easy as breathing and as close as your heart beat.

The third Universal Purpose is to “Tell the Truth – as you see it”.  We each come from a place of our personal understanding and knowledge.  It is important to always operate from this point of Truth.  Lying is a deliberate avoidance or aversion from this place of Truth and it harms you every time you do it.  A layer of separation or veil is created each time you lie and on the journey home you must clean through these layers to reach source.  All humans have a certain number of layers; it is simply an occupational hazard of being human.  We make mistakes, do not fret my child.  Instead focus on the Truth and be honest with yourself and others always.

We each have personal purposes as well as the Universal and these are discovered by listening closely to your heart and being observant of life and that which inspires you.  What brings you Joy?  I am not talking about having fun; I am talking about a deep feeling of blissful satisfaction and serenity.  The answer to every question is always right there and all you have to do is look, listen and feel.

The Gender Sexual Connection

Sex: The physical sexual organs, what is between the legs. This can change due to sexual reassignment surgery; includes male, female and intersex.

Gender: Separate and different from an individual‘s physical sex or sexual orientation (hetero, homo, bi, or asexual), it is an individual‘s perception of the inner self as man, woman or some combination of both, transgender.

Operating from the above definitions we now know that gender and sex are very different and yet from experience we also know that they are intimately connected.  How do we work out this connection?  Is it meaningful?

Sexual Orientation is the trait we give the most attention because it involves others.  Who are you attracted to?  Why?  Does gender really have anything to do with this attraction?  How important is appearance?  What about body parts?  Some people are turned on by toes and if this is the case does it matter what is between their legs?   What if ears are a turn on, the same question applies.  You are probably saying that what it leads to is very important and this is where the genitalia come in.  I agree completely.

In the transgender world we offer a contradiction to this process.  Our parts do not match the majority of the human race.  So do we have GRS to conform or is it more practical than that, simply to enjoy sex in a manner which supports our mental functions?  Many transgender women have surgery just because they cannot bear having male genitalia.  It is like having a large growth on your body which causes you distress.  It could just as well be a tumorous growth!  In this case having surgery is medically necessary, as much as any person with a tumorous growth.  When the result is a happy well adjusted individual post op it is hard to argue against GRS/SRS.

“As an effective treatment for a specific mental disorder, sex reassignment surgery is as deserving of public funding as any other psychiatric treatment.” states Dr. Ray Blanchard, head of the Clinical Sexology Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. (Egale Canada ©2011)

“The reported 68%-86% overall success rates for sex reassignment surgery must be viewed cautiously; the lack of long-term follow-up studies makes these statistics misleading. There is evidence suggesting that some gender dysphoric patients benefit primarily from sex reassignment surgery. Most such patients, however, are secondary transsexuals who can benefit from various modes of psychotherapy. Sex reassignment surgery should only be considered as the last resort for a highly select group of diagnosed gender dysphoric patients. As physicians learn new ways to diagnose and treat transsexualism, either sex reassignment surgery will be abandoned as a routine treatment modality or new predictive variables for choosing suitable patients for sex reassignment surgery will be established.” (Lothstein, Am J Psychiatry 1982; 139:417-426)  The above quote is a bit out dated now and this author finds it interesting that its prediction is far from correct.  SRS has grown in popularity as surgical techniques have been perfected.  It is now the best treatment known for severe gender dysphoria.  The question remains, what if the dysphoria is mild?  What constitutes mild?   This is between the patient and their counselor or therapist.

The final point or question I wish to raise is, does sexual orientation figure into ones decision to have surgery or not?  From the clinical perspective, the answer would be no.  Dysphoria is separate from sexual behavior and needs to be treated regardless of sexual orientation.  The practical side of the issue is a personal one.  Transsexuals often start off in same sex relationships and to have surgery would destroy the identities associated with the relationship, so unless both individuals are flexible the relationship ends.  This is even the case in heterosexual relationships since it would be homosexual after surgery.  Those relationships that do survive often forgo sex altogether.

One of the most difficult aspects of the transgender journey is relationships and the changes they must go through along the way.  The losses are often heart breaking, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.  It can lead to more loving and authentic relationships!  The road has many potholes, so it is best to proceed with caution.

Transition of Ages

Pisces is the last of the astronomical ages and the end of an era.  Aquarius is the dawn of the new earth!  The changes occurring now are profound.  We have all seen a glimpse of what is to come, with the drastic natural events such as tsunami’s, earthquakes, floods, tornados and severe weather, however what I speak of is even more profound.  Here is a primer.

War has been a way of life for the past 2000 yrs or more and it is time to hammer our swords into ploughshares.  Peace is the way of Aquarius.  An age of perfect harmony is upon us and all we have to do is embrace it.  It stands before us like an old friend.  Let’s welcome her in with open arms!

Pisces is the old ways of manual labor, chaste systems, fossil fuels, power based monetary systems and dominate masculine energy.  This is giving way to the precise opposite – automated labor, equalitarian systems, renewable energy, Love Based Society, Resource Based Economy, and passive feminine energy.

The beautiful part of all this is we each chose to be here now to take advantage of this shift in energy (takes years to complete).  It is a great opportunity to shift your own energies to a higher vibratory level.  It is time to shift your consciousness to the next level!  This is a choice not a requirement, so those who prefer to remain in the old Pisces ways are free to do so.  This article identifies the Aquarian age as beginning in 2060, but also says it take 200 years to make the transition.  Meaning we are shifting now (1960-2160).

The Aquarian age is also showing in our gender and sexual preferences, “Iconclasm such as this is characteristic of Aquarians who are frequently noticed to have “unusual” sex lives, such as androgynous and bisexual. Mind you, by Aquarian standards, nothing is that unusual. That is what it means to be an Aquarian, an individual.” (Fenn N. R., 2007)

Think deeply about what your heart desires.  Better yet learn to listen to the heart and not your head.  This is another of the shifts.  We are moving into thinking and intellectual Aquarian age so Heart based guidance will be needed.  The brain connects you to the mind which we have learned is a wonderful tool, but it is not who you are – this is connected through the Heart.

The Heart is what connects to the soul.  You may know this as intuition which is similar.  The soul guides you by communicating with “gut feelings”.  Have you ever chosen a path and then felt sick in your stomach?  Those who are familiar with the chakras know the soul chakra is in the solar plexus or approximately in the stomach region.  The Heart chakra connects directly to your Higher Self or Oversoul (heart chakra is literally over the soul chakra).  Working with this energy and opening this doorway is key for everyone who chooses to move on to the Age of Aquarius!  See the meditation at bottom of page.

In conclusion, I ask you to look closely at your life and see the change that is taking place and know that it is bigger than you!  Like an organism in a caterpillar we are all changing…
