Cleanliness is next to Godliness

On this wonderful transition called The Journey of Love, a few practices are important to understand and respect.  By now if you have been reading my blogs you know that energy makes up everything and can be thought of as God.  Everything vibrates at a certain frequency which is inherent within its structure.  So what is cleanliness?  How can anything be dirty in God’s world? 

First of all, this is not God’s world!  It is man-made, every blade of grass, every animal and every person is created by the ego, as described in A Course in Miracles, ACIM.  It is worth the effort to figure out what I am speaking of, but it is too complex to explain in a few paragraphs, ACIM is a yearlong course.  Just know that your “reality” is created by your ego mind and each person see’s a slightly different version of the same thing. Earth is often considered dirt, but dirt can also be any substance, liquid, or semi-solid that is located where it is not wanted.  It will also change the overall appearance of the object it rides on. 

Dirty on a basic level is a drop in energetic frequency which then attracts particulate matter similar to its energy.  This usually occurs over time, unless energy is being expended to clean or increase the areas’ energy vibrations.  If you ask three people if something is dirty, you will get three different answers, because the state of being dirty is subjective.  Dirty is simply a lower vibration. 

Take your body for instance, washing it removes any foreign materials and thus raises the bodies overall vibration to a more natural state.  This is true for anything being washed.  So to wash anything raises its vibrational signature to a more natural state or close to original state.  The original state is unattainable in this world because of the many energetic influences being exerted on all matter.  Once matter is changed, it cannot be changed back, only taken to a similar state.  Think of this at the molecular level, so while it may appear good as new, it has been changed.  So what is this change?

Looking at dirty from the spiritual point of view, it is impure, soiled, tainted, unclean, and is being viewed as sinful.  Thus anything in this world could be considered impure or sinful.  Not that purity does not exist, for it certainly does, however it is not of this world.  Ever since Eve ate the apple and Adam & Eve where thrown out of the Garden of Eden, this world has been impure or sinful.  Of course this is a perspective which was taught long ago by religious leaders to explain the world they saw around them. 

Energetically speaking the 3d dimension, where we all live, is a dense world made up of matter at a low vibrational frequency.  As energy vibration increases, cleanliness becomes a natural state.  If the body can be vibrated at sufficient frequencies it too will move to attain a state that cannot be dirty. 

Metaphorically speaking cleaning is a kin to forgiveness, because forgiveness is how one raise’s above sin.  Keeping your body and your environment clean is thus a conscious act of forgiveness! 

Cleaning is also a way to increase the vibration of anything, your body, house, yard, etc.  Living in an energetically vibrant environment is crucial to higher living.  But don’t take my word for it, just notice the next time you are in a “dirty” place and see how the space feels.  Energized?  Depressed?  The same goes for a place that is immaculately clean, or someplace brand new/never used. 

The secret to moving to higher states of existence comes in creating an energized space and is as simple as keeping it clean.  As you grow, you will find yourself in places that are ever more energetic, clean and beautiful.

When going in for any medical procedure requiring anesthesia you are required to stop eating or consuming anything by mouth and if the procedure involves the abdomen or pelvic area a complete colon cleansing is required as well.  There are several medical reasons for this requirement.

            Adult patients (= or > 18 years)

  1. SOLIDS + MILK: stop eating and drinking after MIDNIGHT the night before your surgery.
  2. ORANGE/citrus JUICE or OTHER JUICES with PULP: stop drinking after MIDNIGHT the night before your surgery.
  3. CLEAR LIQUIDS: stop drinking FOUR (4) HOURS before your scheduled surgery time.

When sedated or under anesthesia, your body’s normal protective airway reflexes, such as coughing, that prevent the aspiration of any regurgitated stomach contents is impaired. The aspiration of acidic or solid gastric contents can cause serious and even life threatening lung inflammation and infection.  If your stomach is full, the chances or regurgitating are greater, and the amount regurgitated will be greater which increases the likelihood of aspiration. OK, so now we know the physical/medical risks of having food in the GI track during anesthesia, and we are going to move on to the metaphysical reasons.  Since the mind, body and spirit are intimately connected it is important to understand the Spiritual aspects of surgery or other medical procedure. 

The body is a vessel for the Spirit to express in the material world or 3rd dimension and thus the actions taken with the body create ripples in the spirit world much as they do in the physical one.  Eating is the act of fueling the body or literally taking in the materials to build a new body!  You are what you eat after all.  Metaphysically speaking during surgery the goal is to suspend this process as much as possible so that the invasive procedure does not interfere with the process of digestion and assimilation.  The body will then be focused on healing the shock of the surgical procedure, be able to allocate more resources to the immune system and it will be more flexible to changes. 

If you would like to experience this shift in energy, try fasting for three days, cleansing the colon completely or both.  The body literally has less weighing it down and thus you will feel lighter.  Your Spirit is freer.  The energy you feel is wonderful and uplifting! 

The ironic thing is that eating is a major source of stress and aging on the body.  The more dense and complex the food, the more work required to digest it.  This is not necessarily a bad thing, because it brings different nutrients to the system.  As far as our discussion here about anesthesia it is important.  The food you eat is metaphorical to the thoughts you think.  You have heard of digesting a thought?  The saying comes from this very fact. 

The body is symbolic/representative for the soul connected.  As is the body, so is the soul and vice versa.  Cleansing the body both inside and out is literally cleansing the soul!  (I use the word soul here to indicate the Spiritual aspect of the body that exists in multi-dimensions.  It is not God per se, but like the body and mind, Spirit/God flows through.  The soul then has access to a greater flow than the body or mind can handle.  The soul is still individuated – God/Spirit is not, it is the energy makes up all creation)

I like to think of my body as a sensing organ for experiencing the 3rd dimension, but it also works as a tool for making changes.  May your transition be Blessed.

Ps. Another aspect to this is the natural cleansing the body does before the final transition.  The soul knows when the time is coming and thus directs the body to cleanse itself and to take in less to digest, thus making transition easier.

The Art of Appreciation

This next blog is part of the Love Based Economy series and really gets to the core of how it all works.  It could be said that this is the most important aspect of the system.  Love  it  and  it  will Love you back.  It really is that simple. 

They way it works is to replace the word it with anything and everything in your life/economy.  Like this, Love your enemy and your enemy will Love you back.  Or Love a dog and it will love you back.  Love broccoli and it will Love you back.  Love your wife and she will Love you back.  Love your home and it will Love you back.  This works with anything that you insert, and the point is to insert it all!

The logical question is how does it work?  I love my wife but she does not love me back.  The answer is again very simple, but not necessarily easy.  If you are Loving something and you are not experiencing the Love in return it means that you are not coming from Spiritual Love, but maybe ego love. Spiritual Love is that which makes up your soul, it is your core, it is unlimited, unconditional, and un-attachable.  You cannot lose it – only give it way, you cannot limit it – only yourself, you cannot run out of it, ever!  The ego version of love is the opposite of this.  The remedy is to Love “it, them” some more!

So now you know what Love is, the goal is to share it or give it away, for when you do this you will have more!  Like a basket of yarn that never ends, the more you pull from your soul the more you have!  Since you have more than you need, you might as well give some away.

Going back to the key phrase, Love it and it will Love you back, the way to make it all work is to apply it consciously.  The method of Love is to simply focus your attention on it.   Invest yourself in it.  For example, Love your dog and your dog will Love you back.  Put your attention on your dog, give of your time, effort, and things that add value.  Since appreciation is the act of adding value.  The very word means increasing value!  So to Love something or someone, appreciate them, make them valuable! 

There are million+ ways to Love and objects to Love.  In fact the options are endless.  You have no doubt spent most of your life learning what is not Love.  This is what this world is all about (ego).  The ego world is self centered, artificially created, and important to no one except you.  Without Love, this world is meaningless!  Without you, it is meaningless.  Because you are the very Love you give!  You are what is important, not in a self centered way, but as a vehicle of Spiritual Love!  We each share this potential and the more we realize it the greater its value.

The Nature Of Consciousness

The word consciousness is being used often these days, so I think to fully appreciate the depth and meaning of this word and this age we now live in we should take a closer look.   Transition has been and will always be a major part of life.  Are you prepared for it? 

Gender transition is one aspect of a much greater change or transition that is occurring right now and has been taking place over the last 150 years or so.  I find it interesting that so many transgender individuals are coming out these days as the environment or consciousness evolves to a greater acceptance level.  So much of the fear, guilt and angst surrounding any deviant or anti-social behavior has been given rise by the religious institutions of the past.  Once again this is a product of the level of consciousness at the time. 

The Mayan calendar is not a calendar of time, but of consciousness!  The last wave of consciousness begins today Mar. 9th starting an awakening of Universal Consciousness.  The calendar ends on Oct. 28th 2011, meaning this cycle of consciousness is coming to an end.  Many of you have probably been aware of this consciousness before, because the previous cycles have prepared us.  Those who were firmly rooted in the other levels of consciousness may have missed this preparation and thus are being introduced to it now.  This is a good thing.  Nothing is required other than being open and receptive. 

While this sounds easy, if you are firmly rooted in the old ways you will first have to release yourself from its grip.  A purging must occur!  Before a cup can be filled it must be emptied first!  The good news is that consciousness is expanding and growing so there is no going back.  There is no more nightmare!!  Let it go!  Carefully consider what is serving you and be honest with yourself.  Step into the new world or new earth with your heart open and your mind quiet.  The only way to hear Great Spirit’s guidance is to quiet the mind and listen with your heart.  The first time I heard this I said, “What?”  That seemed absurd to me, but after some introspection and research I discovered how to do this.  WOW, what an awakening!  With this final wave of consciousness this will be so much easier than in the past.  Try the meditation at the bottom of the page.

A few suggestions to make the shift easier, stop using fluoride toothpaste, stop drinking soda and esp. the diet ones (artificial sweeteners block your mental function), stop using white processed foods (like sugar, flour, etc.), and move your body (be active).  The only way to know if this works is to experiment.  Use whole wheat, natural sugar, and grains for a whole week and see how you feel.  The same goes for the other items to remove.  Try it for at least a week, up to a month and notice how you are feeling.  Write a diary if you like.  I did this and was amazed at the difference it makes.  I also did a colon cleanse and fasting which is a great way to get started.  Once the toxins are removed from the system it is much easier to introduce new foods.  Remember like attracts like, so the more you eat these natural foods the easier it gets. 

Getting back to consciousness I will close here with a recap.  Firstly consciousness is a thought energy that embodies a level of awareness.  The Arabic describe it as layers of veil.  As each veil is removed the individual is that much closer to the mind of God.  I will add that it is like an onion, as the skins are removed your consciousness is that much closer to the Prime Creator.  When you get to the center, you discover nothing.  There is no central core to an onion, just as you cannot see the Prime Creator.  The connection is through your feelings, and thus the importance of listening with your heart!  The mind is a tool for connecting you to this world and it is perfect for that, but if you wish to connect to consciousness itself or Prime Creator/God then open your heart and feel.

Let go of what no longer serves you and look closely here.  Embrace the new earth by changing your diet and being aware of your awareness!  Seek higher awareness, and your dreams come alive!  For me this is about living from my soul or soulful living!

The Human Family

There is no such thing as strangers, only friends you have not yet met.  You have probably herd this saying which is very true, but have you considered that it applies to family as well?  When we talk we will often include “family and friends”.  Could this be because in essence they are the same?

Biologically speaking humans are classified in the following manner,

kingdom-Animalia, means humans are animals.

phylum- Chordata, means they have a spinal cord.

class –Mammalia, means they feed their children milk, have hair, and give birth to live young.

order-Primates, means mammals including humans, apes, monkeys, lemurs, and living and extinct related forms that are all thought to be derived from generalized arboreal ancestors and that are in general characterized by increasing perfection of binocular vision, specialization of the appendages for grasping, and enlargement and differentiation of the brain. (Merriam-Webster’s Medical Dictionary, © 2007)

family-Hominidae – includes extant (living) and extinct humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans. (Wiki.answers.com)

genus-Homo, means bipedal primates that includes modern humans and several extinct forms, distinguished by their large brains and a dependence upon tools. (Dictionary.com)

species-Sapiens, means modern humans.

From a biological perspective humans are only one in a vast array of animals and other life forms!  Why is this important?  Because our dependence upon tools, namely the ego mind has lead us to believe that we are superior and that all other creatures must bow to our presence.  Even among other humans an order of supremacy exists, often to the detriment of many fellow humans.  I don’t need to tell you how this system works since you are no doubt intimately aware of its intricacies. 

The message of this blog today is that of family.  What is family and how do you fit into it?  This depends on your perspective of course, as all things do.  From the biological perspective your family is all extant (living), and extinct humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, and organgutans, or the large apes.  To simplify, you are a large ape!  Put that large ego mind of yours aside and consider this.  You are a part of a much larger eco-system here on earth, a member of a larger family called the large apes.  Are you getting along well with your family? 

Looking closer now at just the species, Sapiens, family means something different, “the basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not: the traditional family.” (Dictionary.com)  If you look up this word you will find that it has several other meanings as well.  One of those includes humans identifying together as a group whether they live together or not.  So what this means is that your birth family (parents and children), those related to you by blood are not your only family. 

If you are an orphan you don’t even know who these people are!  Is it important?  Not unless you make it so.  My mother was an orphan and I asked her about this.  I could see that she would like to have known, but that ultimately it did not matter.  She is who she believes herself to be.  We are all related through the biological family, and who you are loved by or raised by makes a big difference.  Yes, your birth family does play a big role if they are the ones who raised you.  First and foremost is how you identify.  Who you feel yourself to be, is who you are.  The genetic code of your make up does play a part in the picture but this can change due to the environment in which you grow up!  Science has now proven that the environment affects your DNA makeup.

Part of growing up and maturing is to step back and get the big picture so you can see where you fit in.  What it all comes down to is that your choice plays a big role in where that is!  If for some reason you decide you don’t like who you have become, then take what you have and choose again.  Be the person you envision.  We each fit in together as we are all family.

How To Change

The question was raised how to get from a money based system to a system based on resources or what I call a Love Based Economy.  To quote a famous Chinese sage, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” Lao-tzu. 

If you read the news and keep up with current events you will know that change is happening now and it is the perfect opportunity to make the jump to higher consciousness living.

Much has been written about this way of living which many call sustainable living.  So much of life today is a habit, and whatever is placed in front of you is accepted and integrated into your life.  Unless you are one of the growing numbers who are living consciously.  Do you consider the long term effects of every product you buy?  Is what you are using sustainable, meaning recyclable, reusable, or renewable? 

When you are out in public at the zoo, park, ball game, etc. do you still follow the guidelines of living sustainable, or is it just when it is convenient?  There are so many ways that you can embrace the change without worrying about money!  The first step is to adjust your thinking and behavior!  A “YES” attitude is imperative to making the change, as is an honest concern and curiosity about living sustainably. 

The good part to this change is that many of the changes actually use less money and with a Loving and giving approach it is amazing the abundance available to all of us.  I would never dream of wasting anything because I have been conditioned to live frugally.  If you do a survey you will find that most wealthy people live a conscious and frugal lifestyle, even if it is not sustainable.  The jump to sustainable living is not far. 

The other important step you can take today to start shifting to a Love Based Economy is to stop supporting the old system!  This is a lot to ask for many of us, but the alternative is catastrophic.  I would rather shift my behavior little by little than having the floor fall out from under me, which is precisely what is happening to many people right now. 

How reliant are you on fossil fuels?  Most of us are totally dependent on them for every aspect of our life.  How about putting solar power into your home?  There are programs to help you financially with this change.  Even if it is only a water heating system, it is a step in the right direction.  Do you grow your own food?  Why not?  Another way to lessen your dependence on money is to grow it!  It does not have to be a major project, but it can be.  Whatever suits you! 

Another option to ease into being free of money is Fourth Corner Exchange,  http://www.fourthcornerexchange.com/.  They offer a community based system of exchange that keeps resources in the community and encourages growth locally.  “Local, alternative and community currencies replace the money drained away, allowing the people to continue trading the essentials of life. Fourth Corner Exchange Life Dollars cannot be removed from the communities in which they circulate, because the members issue Life Dollars as and when they need them by trading their goods and services within their communities. This is democratic money, issued in sufficiency by the people to meet all their local trading needs.”

The other trend that we will be seeing is interest free money, issued by community banks, and local authorities for the betterment of the region.  Once the profit motive is removed and people feel they are being treated fairly and with care (Loved Based) the incentive to repay the loan is high which leads to personal success and promotes the abundance of the community.  Kiva Bank is a good example of this.  I recommend reading up on their site. http://www.kiva.org/about/microfinance.

Sustainable Living

As part of the series on a Love Based Economy, I focus today on the loving actions we can take right now with the homes we live in.  Technology is enhancing our lives in so many ways, why not use it to re-integrated our lives into nature? 

Imagine living with nature without any fear.  What if as a society we could get back into harmony with nature to the point where our homes were built in consideration of the native animals and wildlife.  I am talking about a home that not only keeps you dry, warm, and comfortable, but also is open to the outside world.  It is constructed of recyclable materials that are not harmful to nature.  If you walked away from your home and allowed it to decay over 100 years, nothing toxic would get into the soil, water, or air.

This home is powered with renewable energy and constructed with conservation in mind.  Waste water is recycled by separating the toilets to a septic system that composts the waste into fertilizer for the garden.  Gray water from the sinks, dishwasher, and washing machine are used to water the lawn and garden.  Rainwater from the roof is channeled to a cistern for storage and is filtered before being used for washing dishes, clothes and bathing.  Drinking water would come from another source or would be purified in a stricter process. 

The home is built to harness nature in as many ways as possible including, passive solar heating, cooling towers and landscaping.  The home would have back-up systems in case of drought or electrical failure.  The less the home relied on electricity the better, but could still support modern day luxuries such as TV, Computer, Audio system, high efficiency lighting, heating and cooling system. 

The home would fit into the natural surroundings and encourage engagement with the outdoors.  Depending on the location, there are many ways to do this.  Coming from a place of Love is key to making it work. 

The amount of forethought that went into a home like this would be considerable, but the payoff would be worth it!  Consider the possibilities if a system could be developed to create sustainable neighborhoods!  Imagine localized green power distribution, community gardens, gathering centers and recreation areas for each grouping of homes. 

Imagine a world that was not afraid of nature but embraced it as a part of life, where children were taught the wonders of life, how to love and respect it, not what to fear, or stay away from.  Animals can sense fear from those around them, so if everyone could come from a place of love, respect and compassion while focusing on harmony, we could all live joyfully as one great community.

The research has been going on now for many years and all that I speak of is available now!  Many are already living this way!  It is simply a choice to integrate these ideas into the mainstream and expand them to include all new construction, while encouraging existing homeowners to convert what they can to higher efficiency systems. 

Our grandchildren deserve this as do our animal friends!

Oneness Is The Key

The concept of Oneness is the key to a Love Based Economy, so I would like to revisit this concept, understanding, philosophy, life style, and/or way of being.  Oneness once fully understood and integrated totally shifts your experience of life itself.  It could be said that this is enlightenment, although once you understand Oneness you see that you already are enlightened.  This is the beauty of Oneness!   

Oneness is all inclusive and very simple in concept, but the reality in this ego world is that separation is struggling to maintain a hold on your life. This shows up in turmoil, conflict and loneliness. The only way to move beyond the illusion of separation is to embrace it and see it for what it is; an illusion. When something comes up that you recognize as separation, simply acknowledge it, see beyond it and then just leave separation behind as a concept. Ignore it, it has no power. Instead focus on the Truth. The Truth is that we are One, unified and whole being. We are Gaia!

Oneness is Unity expressed, it is love thy neighbor as thy love’s oneself, it is making decisions with the consideration of seven generations to come, it is knowing we are all made of ‘Starstuff’, and it is so much more. Oneness is the realization that everyone you meet is a part of Great Spirit, Universal Intelligence, or God, just like you are, and that you have that in common with everything as well as everyone you meet. Each person is individual and connected at the same time. 

What you give, you give to yourself, since we are all one. What you deny for another, you deny yourself. When you heal yourself, you heal the world! You are using the same mind as Albert Einstein, or Mother Theresa.   You are ONE with GOD, in a word you are GOD, expressing as the individual that you are. Each form or “thing” you see is unique onto itself. This means that no two snowflakes are the same and yet a snowflake is like all other snowflakes, but not identical. This goes for all other forms as well. This is why when you meet someone new they are unique and yet they are YOU.  The only constant in this universe is change, so embrace change and honor each form you meet. When life is lived from a place of Oneness we become aware of the bond that connects all of life. 

“What is arising now is not a new belief system, a new religion, spiritual ideology, or mythology. We are coming to the end not only of mythologies but also of ideologies and belief systems.  The change goes deeper than the content of your mind, deeper than your thoughts.  In fact, at the heart of the new consciousness lies the transcendence of thought, a newfound ability of rising above thought, of realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely more vast than thought.” Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth, Page 21-22

This dimension is the Oneness I speak of.  It is something that must be experienced to truly know what it is, but once that connection is made it is a part of you and cannot be lost.  By simply being aware of this Oneness you are shining light on the shadows and allowing yourself to move beyond thought.

In order for a Love Based Economy to work, each person needs to be aware of what Oneness is and how it relates to them and the rest of existence.  The good news is that this is exactly what is happening now all over the world!  People are awakening to Divine Oneness and embracing it.

The next in my series on a Love Based Economy ventures into the concept of ownership.  Please excuse the length of this blog but I have decided to leave it in its entirety for ease of reading.  Ownership is purely a man made concept that has existed for thousands of years in some form or another.  The question I ask here is simply this, “How does ownership serve you”?  Is it in the Highest and Best Good of the Human Race & Earth? 

Ownership as defined by the Encyclopedia Britannica is, “the legal relation between a person (individual, group, corporation, or government) and an object. The object may be corporeal, such as furniture, or completely the creature of law, such as a patent, copyright, or annuity; it may be movable, such as an animal, or immovable, such as land. Because the objects of property and the protected relations are different in every culture and vary according to law, custom, and economic system and the relative social status of those who enjoy its privileges, it is difficult to find a least common denominator of “ownership.” Ownership of property probably means at a minimum that one’s government or society will help to exclude others from the use or enjoyment of one’s possession without one’s consent, which may be withheld except at a price.”

What do you own?  Think carefully here.  Are you sure?  Is it because you paid for it?  Or is it simply that you claimed possession?  Can you do with it as you please?  Does it bring you joy?  It is time to re-assess your viewpoint on ownership.  Let’s take a look at real estate.

What is “real” about real estate?  What are you paying for?  Could it be that you are paying for the right to use the property as long as you abide by certain rules and pay the proper taxes and fees.  Why are you giving your power to some official or banker?  What will happen if you claim your inner power and God given right to live as you see fit?  Is what you are thinking in the Best Interest of Everyone involved? 

So you think you own something, such as a gold watch.  You wear it proudly and use it every day.  One day it disappears, you have no idea what happened to it.  Did you own it and do you still own it?  As the definition reads above you did own it, but now you have lost it.  Possession is 9/10th of the law, or so it would seem.  I would say that it is 100% the law of ownership. 

Say you met with a friend and notice that they were wearing the watch that you once owned.  Who’s watch is it?  Does it matter that your friend found the watch in the company bathroom?  Do you automatically assume they stole the watch from you?  I hope not.  If you still wish to enjoy the watch, you could explain what happened and ask them politely to give the watch to you.  Since they are in possession of the watch, they own it.  If you are compassionate and caring you may get the watch back. 

It is like the watch is making the decisions and choosing the person to be with.  And in a way it is.  Remember like energy attracts like energy and if you are resonating a match to that watch it will come back into your life.  I once lost a ring and found it over three times before it decided I did not want it and I never found it again.  You may have experiences like this but explain the occurrences differently. 

It is not about owning certain objects, it is about enjoying the use of them and then gratefully passing them along when you are done with them. 

I used to have a camera that I was getting tired of and wished to get a better one.  A few days later someone stole my camera and my prayers were answered!  I now had the excuse I needed to go buy a new camera and I did.  I owned the camera while it was in my possession and then I did not.  The important point here is that I always have what I need.  The resources present themselves as the need arises! 

It is also important to know that ownership as most people understand it today is an illusion.  You do not own the land, your car or anything really.  But you do have the use of anything you desire to claim in a way that honors the Best Interests of all concerned. 

Right now this means paying for certain items so that you have permission to use them.  You are not paying for the item, but the honor of using it!  If someone gives you a gift card, they are transferring their honor to you, thus making it a gift! 

Ownership then is really a Spiritual Agreement made energetically between two individuals or Great Spirit herself.  Whether energy is exchanged in the form of money, labor, barter, or Love does not matter.  The water you drink, the land you walk on and the trees you sleep under were given to you as a gift from Great Spirit.  Are you using them with honor?

Ask not what do I own, but Do I have what I need?  I would bet the answer is Yes, because Great Spirit is a wonderful provider (as long as you let her/him).

Love Based Economy

What is the most abundant source in all The Universe?  What do you get more of when you give it away?  The title is a good hint.  Doesn’t it make sense to base the economy on the most abundant material in the Universe – Love!  Love is a simple concept that is not well understood and for good reason.  We are still discovering the source.  Since the source is the Universe it is not likely we will discover it all – ever! 

Suppose we are going to make the shift to a higher (energy vibration) Loved based form of living, what would that look like?  As a side note, we are already love based since this is the nature of the Universe, so the jump would not be away from who we are, but towards it!  The new economy celebrates our very being and supports us from our core, not from some imaginary inanimate object like money.  Gold has been the standard for many centuries and while that used to work, it is no longer working for one basic reason.  It brings the worse out in Humans instead of the best.

Money, Gold, Platinum, Chickens, Cows, whatever the medium of exchange is based on scarcity and promotes greed, power, control, hunger, war, competition, crime and a lower energy vibration.  This was our past and it served us at the time, it no longer serves us, so we must set it aside and move on. 

We have a dualistic society at this stage in the game, meaning love is balanced by hate, abundance by scarcity, joy and happiness by pain and suffering.  Why do we have to have both, what about a monistic society where we only have Love?  There are two philosophies that teach monism in today’s society, one is very old and predates all modern philosophy, The Vedas.  The modern day philosophy also of monistic base is A Course in Miracles.  A love based economy will teach both, because they are different versions of the same story. 

It is likely that many versions of a love based economy will manifest over the coming years as we sort out what works in the best interest of everyone and as the old system breaks down.  Much like all evolution the shift will be fairly quick in the big scheme of things.  The actual shift in consciousness is occurring now as you read this in Feb. 2011 and will show up in society in the many years to come.  Often these changes happen in spurts, so now would be one of those spurts, but before our cup can be filled we must empty the one we are holding….

Destiny Fulfilled

This blog is a continuation of the previous blog titled Destiny.  Gender transition is not a conscious choice like most people think of it and neither is homosexuality, pedophilia, autism or any other condition.  These are choices made before birth that must manifest and be worked through.  It takes your entire life to fully experience these gifts and they affect everyone you meet, even if only for a few minutes.  The affect can be positive or negative, that is up to the individual you meet.  If you are positive and giving of your talents, then the meeting will be positive.  All Universal Laws apply! 

The message I wish to convey in this blog is a continuation of the previous blog and it is very simple.  Even though transgender is a choice before birth, it is not something that can be ignored.  It cannot be made to “go away”, it is not something to “cure” and it is not a disease!  Gender Identity is what it is and the hard part is that it is not listed on your birth certificate or in any way known to anyone at birth. 

Gender identity must be discovered over time and with introspection.  The child of 3-6 years old can usually tell others what it is, and sometimes if ignored must be rediscovered later in life, usually at puberty or much later in life.  Most children have a gender identity that matches their physical sex, so gender is often over looked or just assumed.  However in about 3% of the population the gender identity and physical sex do not match as in my case. 

I was too scared and confused to know what was going on, so the issue was not addressed.  My life was in full swing by the time I figured it out as a senior in high school, so I ignored the feelings and sometimes overwhelming urge to express my feminine nature.  To release this energy I crossdressed for 30 years and finally I faced the feelings I was having and transitioned.  It was not something that I could ignore.  It is not a choice, because the choice was made long before birth.  Please understand this when you are dealing with anyone who is coping with this condition.

Transgender, and any other condition as mentioned above affect the whole family and each person involved in this person’s life.  So the one’s closest to this individual must transition along with the transgender individual.  This is often a soul agreement made before birth as mentioned in the last blog.  The opportunity for growth here is phenomenal and must not be ignored.  This is a divine gift!  Embrace it and work it out with everyone you love.  Be not afraid to be yourself!  As hard as it may seem the rewards are worth every effort filled, painful and joyful moment.  Remember one thing above all else, Love is the way…

Destiny

A little known fact is that your brain is wired from birth with gender identity and sexual orientation, among many other traits.  Just as a computer is programmed to operate in a certain way, so are you.  The operating system works right out of the box, just as your human traits are pre-programmed.  Just because these things are pre-programmed does not mean they are set in stone.  The program is changeable!

What is not discussed or taught in schools today is that you programmed yourself before you were born.  The reason this is not taught is because it is not provable, but then many aspects of life are taken on faith, so I am not asking you to believe this, just consider the possibility and do your research.   (I have found many sources to confirm this wisdom)

Everything happens for a reason, even chaos!  Random events are an illusion much like a slight of hand trick done by a magician.  Consider the possibility that your gender identity and sexual orientation where chosen before you were born when you made certain agreements with other souls such as your parents, partner, and siblings.  Each person will have different agreements and it is not important to know what exactly they are till the moment you honor them. 

By listening to your inner voice these agreements are honored often without your conscious knowledge.  I don’t buy the story offered by the Buddhists that transgender is the result of past transgressions, in the form of Karma, although if that works for you then it can be one explanation. 

I believe we choose to be transgender so that we can experience both worlds and possibly transcend gender all together.  Our souls are genderless and sexless just as Prime Creator.  This is the reason that many Native tribal cultures honor transgender or two-spirits as Shaman and esteemed members of the tribe.  They have a close connection to spirit!  Each person is growing Spiritually through the events of their lives here in the 3rd dimension.  The challenges we choose before birth are the stairs so to speak that raise us to the next level!

Learning Understood

What exactly is happening when you learn something?  To answer this question an understanding of how energy works, what the human body is for and what makes up knowledge is required.  We cover them briefly here, so if you do not follow, please check out the materials available on the website (Link below). 

I will trust that you have had basic science and physics, so you know that Energy is Everything, it is matter, it is thought, and it is the thread that holds reality together.  Energy can be a wave or it can be a particle and more importantly it cannot be created nor destroyed. 

The human body has one purpose to communicate Love.  Anything that is done with the body either communicates Love (Divine Love, God’s Love) or what is Not Love (ego).  There are many ways we communicate including the five senses, body language, and mentally (telepathy – and Yes you are).

Knowledge is an awareness of a fact, skill, or circumstance. Everything there is to know exists right now through Infinite Mind, Cosmic Consciousness or GOD.  So learning is not acquiring something you did not have before.  It is becoming aware of a skill, fact or circumstance you were not aware of before.  So let’s look deeper.

Since everything is energy this means that all knowledge is energy.  Energy has a vibrational frequency and thus knowledge exists on different levels of vibrational frequency.  You are familiar with the grades we all went through in school.  As our knowledge grew, so did our vibrational frequency as we aligned with the awareness of certain facts, skills or circumstances. 

So now we take this to a new level, and consider what we learn without knowing we are learning.  This starts right away even before you are born.  Your mother lives in a certain environment and your vibrational frequency will be aligned with hers and to a lesser extent your fathers depending on how much time you spend around him.  Everything in the environment is exerting some influence on you and you either align with that energy or you resist.  It works both ways also, so understand that you too are radiating at a certain level of awareness/vibrational frequency and the Higher Energy wins.  This is not a given, however this is the way it works unless you consciously choose a lower energy vibration. 

What about heredity?  Remember that you are created by the genetic material from your parents and also from the environment you are in and the environment they are in.  Fundamentally speaking all heredity is energy alignment.  What your parents or guardians believe is being passed on to you by entrainment.  In case you don’t know what this means, think alignment and rhythm.  It is like when ten clocks on the same wall all begin to swing their pendulums in harmony/ at the same rate.   You are “learning” all the traits, propensities, talents and short comings from both your parents and the environment. 

This is very powerful information because you can align your energy with any source you like.  You are not bound by the limitations of your family ties!  These ideas are entrained deeply within the psyche and do take time to work their way out, but with conviction and persistence anything is possible.

Stepping Through Transition

Transition is sometimes larger than you and involves the entire Universe as is happening right now with the Galactic Alignment in 2012.  And sometimes it is very personal such as an illness, career change, or moving to a new town.  One thing is for sure, you have, are, or are going to experience a transition. 

Successfully undergoing the transition involves, accepting the change, being practical and focusing on your goal.  For example you are diagnosed with a tumor and before you know it you end up in surgery and your life is changed forever.  You probably did not plan on this, although you may have prepared for it by having health insurance.  How does one handle a transition of this magnitude? 

By following the three steps of a successful transition!  First, accept the situation and then take a practical approach by assessing the situation.  Assessment is an ongoing process and should be done at least weekly if not daily.  So here you are and you desire to be there, the next step is to consider the options for getting there. 

In our example, you have had surgery and now you need to heal and put your life back together again.  Doing the same things you did before will likely lead to another crisis, so perhaps changing the way you live may be of benefit.  Ok, so you have determined the actions you need to take, such as eat healthy, exercise, talk through your challenges and release any pent up emotions. 

A short commentary about all dis-eases – they have emotional root causes that when dealt with prevent their recurrence.  If they have manifested into physical form then both the physical and emotional aspects must be addressed.  This is the purpose of an active Spiritual life, to constantly be in touch with your inner feelings and honestly deal with them before they manifest into physical reality. 

As you are taking action to move your life to a new level be as positive and practical as you can.  Every little thing you do, think or say affects your path so be aware of the details.  The last of the steps is to stay focused on the desired result.  This of course is not as easy as it sounds because as you move through life things change.  You may have desired one thing after the surgery and something totally different a year down the road.  This is the reason for the constant assessment.

The last step would then be to stay focused on the ultimate goal while taking actions in that direction and honoring smaller desires as they come up.  Once you are living the healthy life you desire, new desires replace the successes, just don’t forget to celebrate the successes and enjoy the journey!

God’s Love

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! ♥♥♥

Here is the answer to the previous Blog on Ego Love. The following is an excerpt from Sex and Sexuality, “For clarity I will capitalize this type of Love, so if you see “love” think ego and if you see “Love” think Eternal Spirit.  The only true form of Love is that which some define as Agape or the Love of God.  The ego mind is attempting to steer you around this section so just ignore your impulse to stop and read on.  I promise this is an extremely important concept to master.  Metaphor is so illustrative so consider this.  You came to earth expecting a mansion and were instead given a shack!  This is the illusion we all have been sold by ego mind.  The ego is not who you are but is in fact a tool given us to experience this world.  It is not possible to be in this world without your ego, because this world is in fact your ego expressing.   It is time to let go of the belief that you are your ego (or your body) for it no longer serves you. 

Who are you if you are not your ego?  When the ego is stripped away all that remains is Universal Intelligence, Great Spirit, God, or the One Mind.  Other names for God are pure Love, Joy and Peace.  For our purposes here today we are only discussing Love although Joy and Peace are interchangeable with Love.  God is All There Is and how we experience this is what Love is all about.  God is Love, God is Joy, God is Peace, God is YOU and me and all that is!  You may have heard this explanation however I offer it here because it is so profound.  Each of us are points of experience for God or you can think of each life form as an aspect of God and if God is infinite, remember the poem at the beginning of this chapter, then we all are infinite.  Here is some prose that illustrates what Love is so that you can get an idea of what this entails. 

Love Is

Love is not exclusive, but Inclusive

Love is not painful, but the Highest JOY

Love is never lost, but exists always

Love is not changing, but constant

Love is not different, but the same at all levels

Love is not wrong, but the answer

Love is Universal!

Love exists regardless of what is happening in your life, in fact

Love exists regardless of your life

Love is something you can share, but cannot prevent another from experiencing,

only yourself

Love is the only thing you have more of when you give it away

Love is a feeling, an emotion, an experience, and so much more

Love is life itself

Love is a way of life

Love is an acceptance of all that comes your way

Love is an expression of WHO YOU ARE, who we all are

I AM THAT, I AM

So the next time you wish to experience Love consider what that means.  Love is unconditional and in order to experience this we must first give it away!  How can you give away something you do not have?  You cannot, but then Love is who you are so simply give you away.  This is done by being thoughtful and considerate of others, accepting others for who they present to you, and never criticizing anyone or anything.  You give of yourself by doing onto others as you would have done onto you.” (Sex and Sexuality)

Ego Love

Continuing the series on Love, the following is an excerpt from Sex and Sexuality, “The ego is an aspect of our being that allows us to function in this world.  All that you see in this world is a function of ego and I do not speak of the personality version that Sigmund Freud introduced.  I speak as A Course in Miracles (ACIM) teaches that the ego is all that separates.  Whenever you experience something separate from yourself you are experiencing ego.  This explains how we can think of love as painful or something we can lose.  The world is full of “love stories” that teach ego based separation with all the pain and pleasure that comes with it.  In this ego based world hate is the opposite of love, however they both come from the same source.  They are opposite poles of one whole, the ego.  In order to experience ego separation we must have the opposite which serves the very important purpose of supplying contrast. 

Humans revel in the experience of contrast, love, hate, pain, pleasure, happiness, sadness, hot, cold, and all the aspects of time and space.  Turn on the television for 5 minutes and you will see the contrast I speak of.  All of the sitcom and soap opera programs serve up ego separation as juicy slices of comedy, drama, and action.   The ultimate act of separation is killing or death; the grand delusion of mankind!  The ego mind is a master of weaving this delusion into every facet of your life.  You are reminded of the “reality” of death a thousand times a day, especially if you are watching television.

The world is so barraged by death that it is a natural way of life here on earth.  It is the cycle of life, life is born and it dies.  We would not have it any other way!  Or would we?  What if in fact you discovered that you never do die?  What if you removed the veil of death completely and realized the truth of all existence as the poem by Prajnaparamita so eloquently states? 

We have established what ego love is all about, but to further define it consider the many experiences we associate with love such as happiness, sadness, emotional pain, deception, betrayal, loss, falling in love, love at first sight, and even making love.  These are all ego based so this means they are illusion.  I am not saying that the experience is not real because it is indeed real, just like the movies are real.  We can experience all these things in the movies and we do!  In fact the reason we are in this earth experience is to experience love and all the other experiences involved in this journey of discovery.  So if all the love and hate we are experiencing here on earth is an illusion what is the other version of love that exists?” (Sex and Sexuality)  The next blog will cover the answer.

I Love You – So Now What?

The fact that “Love is the way” is sort of obvious, but what is not so obvious is a question I have pursued since way back in 7th grade.  I asked my father “what is Love!”  His answer was, “you will know it when you see it”, and I stared back at him and said “huh”? 

Love is such a dynamic subject that thousands of books have been written about it and we still want more!  So what is it about Love that we desire?  As I have shared in my previous blogs relationships are what life is all about whether they be relationships that are intimate, casual, family or friends every relationship you have is a relationship with God.  Don’t run!  God loves you and if this bugs you then maybe you should take a step back and examine why. 

It could be the word “God”.  There is so much stigma attached that it has almost lost its meaning.  Feel free to use whatever word feels best for you since they are equal, Universal Mind, Buddha, Allah, Jesus, Goddess or Great Spirit.  The point here is that you are Loved and to accept that Love is not as easy as it would seem.  In order to fully accept Great Spirit’s Love we must accept the Love we are offered in every relationship we have.  Every time you reject someone, be they friend or foe, you are rejecting Love.  Yes, this means that your ex partner that you would prefer to never see again is a source of Love and so is that sexy person at the coffee shop that you admire so much.  Every person you meet has a gift for you – an opportunity to Love.  Simple isn’t it?  Love and be Loved! 

I suppose we need to look at what love is and isn’t.  This is where it gets tricky and I suggest trusting only your heart.  We have all been hurt at some time or another, that is a given, however what you do with that hurt is the key to your Spiritual growth.  The phrase “forgive and forget” rings loud in my mind right now.  The saying, “what comes around, goes around” applies here also, because you can leave the person to what he/she created.  They will get what is coming, it is not up to you.  If you take this role (revenge/vengeful), then you become caught in the web of karma which is simply not necessary.  It takes a strong person to walk away or to even express caring/compassion for the person who hurt you.  It matters not what the person did, killed your child, cut your hand off, or call you a bad name.  Jesus showed us what forgiveness and Love brings, he will not soon be forgotten! 

Look back at the blog from Feb. 9th to see what Love is and isn’t in more detail, I originally ran that blog before this one, so I will get more into the difference between ego love or man’s love vs. God’s Love or Spiritual Love in the next blog.  As this is the key to being able to forgive and forget!

Love and The Art of Divorce

I am reposting my blogs centered around Love at this time of Valentine’s Day.  May Love be with you always and all ways!

Relationships can be easy, difficult, painful, joyful, and essential.  The one thing they cannot be is avoided.  It is in our nature to love and care for others.  If you will remember we talked before about the nature of all relationships being with the One, Holy Spirit, God.  The ego mind tries to create the illusion of separation and thus comes the pain and difficulty we have with relationships.

Marriage is basically an acknowledgement of the oneness that exists always.  Two people who are attracted decide to share in the journey of love.  They make a commitment to stand beside each other no matter what and to share all that each has to offer.  This is done in the presence of God, because God is all there is!  So whether the ceremony is conducted in a church, court house, or park Spirit is present and witnesses this bond. 

The nature of the world you live in is ego mind.  Separation is being thrown at you at every turn, so it is little wonder that not all marriages last.  The rules people impose on each other are contrary to our nature as animals and as Spiritual Beings.  Monogamous, heterosexual, relationships with biological family must be the lifestyle! Really?

I am here to remind you that the rules are simply made up and can be changed.  There is no right or wrong in life, only what feels joyful or not.  When you surrender to the flow of Spirit you are guided on the path intended before you embarked on this human adventure.  Love is the way!

Sometimes marriages do not last and that is OK.  There is no rule that says you must take only one partner per lifetime.  You decide what is right for you!  Divorce does not have to be ugly. 

Marriage is two people looking in the same direction, sharing common goals.  If that changes then divorce can be the best choice.  While this needs to be considered deeply once the decision is made mutually, moving on can be as easy as walking away.  Love does not have to be abandoned!  Just because two people divorce does not mean they stop loving each other.  It only means their paths are heading in different directions. 

I encourage you to take your time and keep love by your side always and all ways.  This means that you love everyone in your life whether you know them or not.   Do not leave your partner in anger or frustration.  Instead stay long enough to work through your feelings.  What you give, you receive.  Keep this in mind as you decide how you will approach divorce.  Marriage is a 50/50 arrangement so when it comes to dividing that, keep it as equal as possible.  Attachment is the root to all pain and suffering and the more you insist (resist) the worse it will be. 

When the right (for you) decision is being made things will flow and fall into place without struggle.  Pain is natural (because you are releasing an attachment) so do not focus on this, but instead focus on the possibilities to fulfill your purpose here on earth.  Love is your nature, so just be yourself and love will flow whether you are divorcing or marrying!

What Is Love?

This is a repost from Feb. 23 2010, in honor of Valentine’s Day. 

I will offer you a few poems to illustrate LOVE and then I will discuss some important points. 

“What is Love?

It is that which is without condition, without limitation, and without need. 

Because it is without condition, it requires nothing in order to be expressed.  It asks nothing in return.  It withdraws nothing in retaliation. 

Because it is without limitation, it places no limitation on another.  It knows no ending, but goes on forever. It experiences no boundary or barrier.

Because it is without need, it seeks to take nothing not freely given.  It seeks to hold nothing not wishing to be held.  It seeks to give nothing not joyously welcomed. 

And it is free.  Love is that which is free, for freedom is the essence of what God is, and love is God, expressed.”

Love is not exclusive, but Inclusive

Love is not painful, but the Highest JOY

Love is never lost, but exists always

Love is not changing, but constant

Love is not different, but the same at all levels

Love is not wrong, but the answer

Love is Universal!

Love exists regardless of what is happening in your life, in fact

Love exists regardless of your life

Love is something you can share, but cannot prevent another from experiencing, only yourself

Love is the only thing you have more of when you give it away

Love is a feeling, an emotion, an experience, and so much more

Love is life itself

Love is a way of life

Love is an acceptance of all that comes your way

Love is an expression of WHO YOU ARE, who we all are

 Now that we have some idea of what love is and is not, I offer some important points to remember.  The first and most important thing for you to realize is that love is not painful, so if you are hurting then that is not love; that is ego.  Now that you realize this you can let it go for it serves you not!  Infatuation is often painful so no that is not love although so many of us think it is when we first get started.   This is a painful lesson to learn, but that is ok, pain is simply a distraction from the Truth, which is you are Loved by All That Is.  If you are asking for love from one person and only that person, then this is not love.  Love chooses you, not the other way around and if you put limits on your love then it instantly becomes ego.  You cannot love one person more than any other, so when I say “I love you” I mean that as if I was speaking to my Beloved, because I am!  This is the way Jesus spoke of love and so we can carry on the tradition. 

Hopefully you are getting a good feeling of what love is and is not, so now let’s take this one more level to where it all begins; in your heart.  I have mentioned doing mirror work before and this is where self acceptance and self love begin.  Look into the mirror and go deep within your soul, feel the love, say it out loud, “I Love You”.  Practice this over and over every day, every time you see yourself in the mirror!  Feel it deep within your soul, for this is who you are speaking with, and your soul is reflecting back to you!  At first this may seem difficult or awkward, just stick with it, the payoff is Golden! 

Some of you may be thinking this sounds very narcissistic or conceded.  I assure you it is not, and why it is not is because “you” are greater than what you see in the mirror.  Remember the soul we were speaking of before, this is who you are loving, not the body you see in the mirror or the ego.  Ego love is narcissistic and conceded, so that is what we are letting go of and instead we are focused on the Love of God, Universal Love, Soul Love, or Oneness.

Is Your Energy In Balance?

In this time of drastic changes, upheavals, and shifts it is more important than ever to stay balanced within.  Jesus Christ literally means “I am Centered” or balanced within.  Jeshua Ben Joseph reached that state and earned the title Jesus Christ and so can you. The following is a quote from the eBook Sex and Sexuality.

“Both masculine and feminine energy are a part of every person on earth.  Because these are energies and not traits per se, they behave like energy.  In each moment we are expressing either one of these energies depending on both our situation and the situation surrounding us.  Let’s start by getting a better idea about what the rod and receptacle represent.

Feminine, the receptacle, is the energy of a woman such as soft, curvy, voluptuous, receptive, attractive, subtle, gentle and serene. Often this energy is slow moving and emotional.  It is equated with the Yin in the Eastern philosophies.  This term can be somewhat ambiguous and depends on use, location and nationality of user.  It can be referred to as a feeling or an appearance. The word feminine is used to describe energy not the person.  It is the behavior of the person which could be innate or could be learned and is most often both.  It does not necessarily mean man or woman, although feminine traits are associated with women.  Men have feminine energy too and in order to live a happy life they need to balance this feminine energy with their masculine.  The receptacle is designed to receive a rod.

Masculine, the rod, is the energy of a man, such as strong, hard, angular, rough, aggressive, giving and active.   The rod is designed to give to the receptacle.  They work together and cannot be separated.  Masculine energy is often fast moving and less emotional than the feminine.  It is equated with the Yang in the Eastern philosophies.  It can be referred to as a feeling or an appearance. Women also have this energy and it can be an important part of a woman’s life.  Being the active energy masculinity is how we get things done.  So everyone uses this at some time or another.  If you are constantly doing things then your energy is weighted (think of a scale) to the masculine.” (Sex and Sexuality) 

Working with this energy takes practice and awareness, which is why I think it is so important.  Anything that holds us in awareness is a good thing.  Awareness is part of being alive, centered within your body, and living in the now.  Take a moment to feel your body.  One function of pain is to keep you aware and direct your attention to some aspect of your life.  Louise Hay has a wonderful book on this subject, You Can Heal Your Life, which I highly recommend. 

Taking this exercise to the next level; be aware of the masculine and feminine energy within your body.  Remember the traits above and know that Masculine energy is held in the arms and shoulders, while feminine energy is in the pelvis, hips and legs.  As you go about your daily activities, notice where your energy is.  The task you are engaged in will often determine the energy brought forth.  This is done unconsciously and automatically.  I am asking you to be aware of it.  Once you notice where it is and how you use this energy you can use this energy consciously to help with your desires and goals.  This is especially important in relationships, working, and in playing.  Women radiate attractive energy (femininity) when they desire to attract attention for personal or professional reasons.  Men use masculinity in the opposite fashion a woman uses her femininity.  The man uses giving and action when in a relationship to a woman.  So men if you wish to find a woman be active to the point of aggressive and giving. Don’t forget that everyone has both energies and be ready to balance your energy depending on the situation.  This same dynamic works for homosexual’s only one individual will be in the opposite and balancing energy.  One is feminine, attractive and the other will be masculine, giving and active, this dynamic can shift back and forth as well.  Once again a reason to stay aware!  Blessings on your Journey of Love ♥
